Buckle up the Jan 6 public hearings start this week

That’s what some were waiting for in Virginia. Wasn’t that part of the testimony from secret service or FBI. They were armed and ready. I can’t remember the wording they used. It was proud boys and or oath keepers.

God lord. I got through the first massive run on sentence and that was enough. Love the comments about how this rant is just an audition for the insanity defense.

I was listening to the news this morning and a former WH aide was stating that Trump could NOT turn away from a camera opportunity. Now, I am sure he would plead the 5th the entire time but aren't we all hoping for a Col Jessup outburst that "we couldn't handle the truth" moment?

I feel that, as much as his lawyers are sorry excuses for lawyers, they'll talk him out of performing live. IF he did show up live, I doubt he could stick with pleading the 5th because he knows there is an audience and being a snake oil salesman with a need for attention, that Col Jessup moment would happen.

Isn't that what usually happens? He doesn't generally pay his lawyers, or listen to their advice. 

Didn’t he already claim the 5th tons of times recently. Of course it wasn’t televised. I just don’t trust that he wouldn’t try snd turn it into self promotion instead of testifying.
