Hey Sweet Peas! I just wanted to drop by this morning to say Merry Christmas!!! Life here is cruising along, I'm looking forward to having some time to spend in my studio. I'm off work from today until the 5th...which is very exciting to me. December has been crazy busy at work, we had a ton of events and toy drives, we ended up providing Christmas for about 1000 kids, which has been very heart warming. I spent part of yesterday at our children's shelter having lunch and hanging out with some of the kids who will unfortunately be spending Christmas there. We are usually able to get most of the kids out of there before Christmas, but this year it hasn't gone that way. We got them all nice things for Christmas though. The Fam is doing well. Olivia is home from college for Christmas and her January internship, so she will be here for a while. She had a car accident a right before Thanksgiving and totaled her car, thankfully she walked away with only a concussion and is back to normal now. I just got her another car, but dh chose a stick shift...which she doesn't know how to drive, so we've been working on teaching her that. All else is well in our world. Griffin is super excited for Christmas, he's been counting down the days all month.  Anywho, just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you all. Have a wonderful Christmas! |

Girls, I have been missing you a lot! Things have been a bit hectic around here. My husband had surgery in December 9 to replace the femur head for a titanium prosthesis. He is walking without any pain but depending on crutches to walk about. His recovery is being awesome so far.
Because of his surgery we decided to spend Christmas here in São Paulo. Christmas here is when the families get together, since very few people celebrate Thanksgiving day.
I was able to work in some layouts, and I promise to put them here so you can see.
I want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas time. Leaving here all my love and my gratitude for you making me feel a part of here, even when I don't come often.

Happy Christmas Eve! I just posted a picture I painted for Christmas on my blog I would love for you all to see. Kelly BlogWe took my mom out for dinner last night and we had a good time. She loved the card I made and she gave us a booklet she put together featuring some of her art and writings. Very nice! So I have a few more cards to make and I still want to scrap with some of my recent pictures. We are planning a quiet day tomorrow of food, games, rest and fun. Cindy- Your dgks are amazing! That blueberry butter sounds good. So surprising the things little ones pick up for a show you probably didn't think he was paying attention too. Wishing you and your family a fun day tomorrow. Nylene- I got it!!!! Thanks so much and it is beautiful!!! Hope you have a great time with your family too. Are you fixing anything for the dinner? Dani- Wow, I hope all have a really special Christmas! So much has happened and I am wishing much peace for you. Hi, Tina and Dani! So nice to see you dropping by. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Drop by anytime. I hope we all get some scrappy time after the holidays are over.
Last week I just felt so grumpy and couldn't figure out why. I broke out some Disney photos one evening and made two layouts. Immediately my mood changed. I really owe scrapping a huge amount that I could otherwise have spent on therapy!! I'll post the pages later, probably when I start the 2015 thread.
Cindy and Kelly, thanks for the sweet Christmas wishes. You two are such great friends. I'm off to see your blog, Kelly.

Good Evening Peas! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I know I did! I love spending time with family. Now we have to go thru New Years but we do not go out for that. I actually have a page ready to be scrapped! Printed the photos already and worked the page up on my silhouette. I got the scrap room cleaned up and organized so I can go in there and work without all the clutter! Tina and Dani it is so good to see you! We miss you both when we do not hear from you!
Kelly our team is done for the season and as you know it was not good. But at least they are keeping the coach and Manager. Not sure if we have a quarterback but oh well!
Nylene- sounds like you had a great Christmas and I was so glad to hear that.
Ok enough said I will check back later!

Hey all and Happy almost New Years! Hope you and yours are all well and warm. It has been cool out here and I even had to sleep in my flannel pjs a few nights! lol! Our city has a float that will be in the Rose Parade so keep an eye out for Downey. I hope to get over there tonight to do a little decorating. But if not, I hope to see it when it returns after the parade. So neat! Nylene- Yes, where would we be without our crafts? They are such a comfort! I am working on my art show video and will share it when I get it done. I hope you all have a super duper New Year's day. Cindy- Glad you had a terrific Christmas and hope your New Year's day is just as fun. There will be lots of football on so we will be watching too. Yeah, I saw about the Browns and Mr. Manziel. He is drama. I hope they are better next year. Plus, you heard about our coach left for Michigan. So I wonder who we will have next? Boy, this season was tough for our football teams. And even my poor Lakers are going through it too. Geez! |
