42 cans (month supply) just arrived.
Hopefully I can type this as I am crying but WE ARE GETTING FORMULA! Holy shit balls. Like holy. Shit. Balls. (I apologize if this offends but dang it almighty there is no other word that works here)
I received a call from Chief of Staff for a U.S Congressman who works closely with mine and is in the next district over that he reached out to someone he knows at Abbott Factories and Abbott themselves will be calling me to set up and secure EleCare Jr Unflavored formula this is now being produced.
I also got a call from insurance that they have found formula and GI team as well as insurance are working on the authorization to get the cans delivered to us.
This is all to buy us time while Abbott works to get normal supply out of their formulas as well as the factory shut down of Puramino with Enfamil. (EleCare and Puramino are the 2 most widely used and tolerated amino acid formulas)
I want to thank each pea who emailed on my son's behalf. You have no idea how thankful I am that you took the time out of your day to do that for us. You don't personally know either of us but to reach out and try to help means to world to me. I have fought for over 16 years to keep him happy and thriving and alive.

I am a lot for words now...
I will be taking a break for awhile because this stress has done a number on me physically, mentally, emotionally, and my sleep sucks. I will sneak on to update on formula arrival.
