FurryP Definitely noticed! The perimeter alarms going off right and left! Oh darn. I didn't think about any alarm systems. Bet you have me on video, too. Yes, we have you on video feed streaking across the field only covered in scraps of paper!

Do y’all have any fourth tradition? It seems like we usually smoke or grill something. What I love about the 4th is it is very low key. We did get Hawaiin shave ice this year and I'd like to continue that tradition!

MARIBETHR , I think kitbop just posts the POTW occasionally. I'm sure with just getting the Quarter started and getting challenges done, it was not posted. I think it's supposed to be a just for fun once in a while. Maybe? She could tell you.

Okay, thank you Nylene. I thought it was on weekly scheduled like Sketchy Saturday. I will keep my eye out for them. I think she had originally planned to do it once per week, and I left it under the weekly challenges, but now it has become more spread out. Each one is numbered, but we have 14, I think, for the 26 weeks so far.

If you look under the Master List of Challenges for 2022, pinned at the top of the Challenges forums, you will see the list for all the challenges so far this year. Our own teammate grammadee does an awesome job of keeping this list up to date. Perhaps one will be posted soon?

It’s been a busy day today! Sorry for the last posting. How is everyone doing in keeping up so far?
Tomorrow, let’s talk Pets! Do you have any? Did you have any as a child? Share some photos of your pets and their stories, gotcha days, etc.

What does your weekend look like, Cut n Pasters? We got an inch and a half of rain last night so no weeding for me. And our son's family postponed their plans to drive up here for the weekend, so I may get some scrappy time! If you are planning to play with paper, and if you would like company, there are a couple of virtual crops loosely planned. Keep your eye on the GS boad for a thread announcing one Saturday afernoon/evening and another Sunday morning/mid day. This past week I managed to get 7 pages finished. And proud to say for once I am up to date with points calculations! To answer the pet question, katiekaty , we have a couple of dogs and a couple of cats, but none of them live in the house. I scrapped a page featuring Charlie, our youngest cat, HERE.

Just sitting in the waiting room waiting on stitches to the forehead, took a tumble in the kitchen and banged the head on a chair. The chair survived! I’ve been here since 200 pm and it looks like it will be awhile yet. Once they find out you didn’t break your brains you get moved way down the list!
So tomorrow is going be way catching up on all the things I didn’t accomplish today😒

I am hoping to be able to both scrap more and keep up with the groups better this time too. We are so short staffed and I have been working so much overtime that I just have not had as much time as I would like. I am off to a great start this weekend as i am on my 3rd day off in a row and I have spent the majority of it scrapbooking and catching up on my favorite scrappy YouTube videos. It is really hot here (AZ) so I am not setting foot outside haha!

My apologies for being absent te last few days. I got the stitches around 0130 am very late Friday night and got home around 0230. I started feeling very nauseous and started vomiting around 0400 am ad massive headache. DH took me back to the ER, turns out that it was not a clear CT and I had a concussion-no one had really read the scan, just presumed all clear and let me go. Wound up staying in the ER until the nausea passed and the headache mostly subside. At that point was on “brain rest” so very very limited media, ipad , iPhone, reading or anything. This morning’s outpatient cleared all that and I am good to go again. I think I have a thousand posts and 500 emails to catch up on. Friday I get those lousy two little stitches out! And then this will all be an episode that will fade into the memories.
So speaking of this, have you ever had a trip to the ER for yourself? Things certainly have changed post Covid!

Good Friday morning, Cut n Pasters! How are you all doing? What are your plans for the next few days? katiekaty, I hope you have recovered from your fall and are finally able to get back to normal. A concussion is no way to take a rest! teacherlisa, how did your week off go? Did you get to play with paper? I finished the first week by actually calculating and adding up my points, so now the pressure is on to wrap this week up the same way. Put together three double page spreads and a card this week, and spent some money on Wednesday on papers and a die and an embossing folder. Also printed pic's on Wednesday, so hoping to get at least one more spread done. But that will depend on if my Mojo will come out from wherever it is hiding after a couple of days being ignored in this room while I was gone doing other things... Next week will be a busy one. Expecting ds and family mid week. Dd will arrive sometime this weekend and plans to work remotely from here Monday to Wednesday, so dgs will be hangin out with me or Grampa. And that boy is BUSY! Okay. Time to quit talking about what I plan to do and actually DO something!

While I wasn’t doing anything media wise I did do some cleaning in the scraproom-I can see the table top again, all of it! And the tools are organized. I did listened to music while I was cleaning. It was different. grammadee have fun with your dgs , take some fun photos. If you can let him take a few from his perspective. We did that when my older two were little and it was fun to see what he was seeing and writing down what he was thinking about each picture!

Happy Sunday morning Pasters! Hope everyone has happy plans today. Made a quick breakfast of muffin tin omelets and biscuits. It’s an easy breakfast for those on the run, just slip the omelet between between the the biscuit halves and go! Everyone has plans outside the house today so I should have some good crafty time fun!
What are y’all up to on this lovely Sunday?

Happy scrappy Sunday, everyone! If you are creating something, we would love to see it in the Sharing thread.
Just finished a scrappy session here: finished a LO from yesterday and put another together this morning. Spent some time putting pages into albums.
Dd & dgs will be arriving before supper time, so I need the rest of the day to get the rest of my house organized. Hoping to roast a chicken in the portable oven on the deck. Weather is a little unsettled, but I don't want to take the chance of using my oven in the house if the sun is going to come out again and hit us with the heat of the last few days.

How ya doin', Cut n Pasters? I had a busy week with family here, but everyone left yesterday. First I needed a l-o-n-g nap, and now I need to catch up on the garden and other chores, but I am hoping to do some playing with paper in the next few days. Just added up my points from the past week. So proud of myself that I am current with my points total this quarter!
My dgd's were here this past week and we had fun re-creating some of the pic's I took and scrapped when they were here ten years ago. (These girls used to spend a week or two at the farm every summer, so they had lots of memories to relive!)
What does YOUR weekend look like? It is sunny here today, and I need to get outside. Anyone crafting? Off on adventures that you can't wait to scrap?

My BFF since high school and her 7yo daughter are visiting next week. This weekend is all about cleaning and getting a guest room set up for them. We have lots of fun plans while they're here; lots of picture taking opportunities!

I get busy and forget to come to this thread. I finished 13 cards and 2 layouts this week. I am waiting for Costco to send my next batch of photos.
We had a new great-granddaughter born on Wed. Can't wait to get photos of her and get them on pages.
Wishing you all some happy scrappy time in the coming week!

Happy Wednesday! Hoping all are well and rollin along.

Hey Cut n Pasters! How is everyone doing so far in August? I did NOTHING last week scrapwise, other than spend time with my dgs while he made a couple of cards. Have not even added up points for the last two weeks, and I had promised myself I would keep up. Don't have much to count but that will be my first job.
Need to make some bd cards tomorrow but I printed over 200 photos yesterday, so hopefully I can get some pages done soon...

Back again to see how everyone is doing about half way through this quarter...
Had a wonderful scrappy week crafting with a friend here at the house. Used alot of new stuff as well as some Basic Grey and Little Yellow Bicycle! Several pages with few techniques or layers, but still got the photos glued down and some stories told--they are going into the book!
Just calculated and added my points up to date, and wanted to remind you that doing this as you go makes it much easier when this quarter does come to an end. Even if you have not been crafting, you have either been spending money (@ 1 point/dollar spent) or saving money (@ 5 points per day) so even that is worth adding up mid quarter!
Speaking of spending, don't forget to stock up on supplies to take on SKETCHtember: a new sketch challenge EVERY DAY with points and bonuses to be earned. Hopefully if you have had a busy summer outdoors, you will have pic's to scrap and time to scrap them in September.
And if you have been creating cards and/or pages, I hope you are sharing them for all of us to be inspired.
What's happenin' the second half of this quarter? Any scrappy classes or crops? Going to try for the 30 sketch bonus for SKETCHtember? Starting (or continuing) on your holiday card construction? Or just keeping your head above water, hoping to get some "ME time" to play with paper?

Hello Cut n Pasters! I didn't bookmark this thread and have forgotten to come find it lately. grammadee, I don't plan to try for all 30 Sketches finished in September but I hope to print them out and use them throughout the year. I still need to convert a bunch of HEIC photos to jpeg so I can send them to Costco. Guess I better do that immediately since we are only about a week out from September. Where did this year go. Thanks for hosting us katiekaty.

Lots of fun to be had and points to be earned--including a 500 point BONUS for completing all the sketches before end of day October 7th! Hi, Cut and Pasters! I wish I could join the online crop today, but we have a family event out of town today. We will have 2 of our children and their families there. It's always a good time when we get together.
I have done the first 2 Sketchtember challenges, but I know that I will get way behind by the end of the week. I love printing out the sketches so I can use them later during the year. Thanks for all your work getting hostesses and setting this up each year. It seems to be a favorite 2 Peas activity.
Have a great long weekend, USA Peas.

I'm here. It's been crazy, busy, difficult, etc the past few months. I got to go away on a much needed scrap weekend in at the beginning of August. I had my scrap room all clean and organized at the beginning of summer but work stuff has taken it over again. Dealing with DS and work have been taking up the majority of my time and there is just no energy left over for scrapping. I'm signed up for a weekend crop in October that's by my work. DS has been more than a handful so going away again is out of the question. I hope once my school year settles in I'll be back on the boards and scrapping more.

Hi friends, I just got back from an amazing week in Colorado. I’m exhausted but I printed out all the sketches so far. I’m not sure when I can get started because I have to go into the office tomorrow, but hopefully later in the week I can get some scrapping done. I’m still buzzing from my trip but I won’t have those photos printed to scrap any time soon. Hopefully I can channel that energy into scrapping the photos I DO have!
