So we usually eat lunch around 12- 12:30 and dinner around 5:30. Talking to friends today and they don’t eat till around 7 or so. We made plans to go out this weekend for lunch at 2 and my husband was all in a tizzy cause now that messed up dinner time 😂. So what time do you eat? We live in NY if that matters.

We eat very early, usually between 4:30 and 5:00. My work schedule is early, 6 am to 3:30 pm, and I am in bed by 8:00 usually, and up by 4:00. My son is home and does most of the cooking during the week.

We eat later. 6:30 at the earliest, often not until 7 or maybe even later. DH would rarely be home from work before 6:30. If we are going out to eat, we tend to make reservations for 7 or 7:30
I don't eat breakfast, but eat lunch between 12 and 1.

Usually between 7.30 and 8.30 depending on Dh's working day.
If I had my main meal at 5.30/6.30 the evening would seem so much longer and I would end up eating more evening snacks.

During the week, dinner is usually by 6pm. DH has an early start for work and prefers not to eat right before going to bed. If it’s just me, I’ll eat more like 7:30-8:00.
Weekends could be anytime.

If I’m cooking, usually around 7:30. I get home at 5:00 and then go out for a run. Then I’ll shower and start making dinner. Sometimes I won’t even eat dinner if I have pickleball league (once or twice a week) or we decide to go to the pool. We are super flexible about dinner and a schedule. I would side eye someone in a tizzy about it.

We eat late, 8:00 is probably the average, and also just about the latest we typically eat. No reason for eating late, it's just seems to be the time I get it all together. Dh tells people we eat on European time. Ds was shocked to find out that most of his friends had dinner by 6pm.

Typically, dinner is 5:30-6:30. We usually don't have a problem with eating later. It just removes the late evening snack. I admit that I hate doing family weekends with the in-laws. They're all about big late breakfasts, grazing lunches, and themed dinners that aren't all that great.

Typically around 5/5:30, I just started intermittent fasting (it’s not working, we’ll see how long I last)and need to be done eating before 7. We usually head upstairs to start getting ready for bed (yds & I shower at night) around 8/8:30.

We always eat around 6-6:30pm so dinner prep usually starts around 5:30 or so. During the school year, we tend to stick to this schedule since we like to get dinner done and have time to do others things before bed time.

Lunch is our main meal which is usually at noon. We each eat dinner on our own schedules anywhere from 5:30 to 8 for DH, usually between 5:30 and 6:30 for me.

We eat dinner around 7. After I get done working, I like some time to unwind before I start cooking dinner. Plus I like the bonus of never feeling like I need an evening snack. I'm in bed at 9 pm

My ideal meal times are 10:30 am and 4:30 pm. My family constantly teases me about it and asks what time dinner is at the retirement home!
Being single I just say that I can eat at whatever damn time I want to!

It depends on DS' work schedule and dh and ds' softball schedules during the week- but generally between 530 and 615. On weekends, we either eat breakfast OR lunch, so dinner tends to be closer to 5. Or not. Lol, we dont really have a set dinner time.

Hee hee! We eat our evening meal between 5:00 and 6:00, but we usually call it SUPPER . I often say "ready or not, it will be on the table by 5:30" If we had a bigger meal at mid day we would call THAT "dinner", but as it is, we have breakfast, lunch and supper.

If I had the choice and I'm by myself? 6pm. If I'm working late or if I have to wait for DH to get home from work? 7:30pm. Every day he says he wants to eat earlier so that he can wind down longer and sleep better. Then he doesn't get his ass back from that office until it's no longer early, doesn't wind down, doesn't sleep, gets grumpy... and the cycle continues.

I do not eat dinner. I get home between 6:30 - 7:30 and by the time I change, feed the dogs and make my lunch for the next day it is too late to eat anything. Go to bed about 11:30 or so and like feeling a bit hungry when I go to sleep.
Plus, who wants to mess with cooking and eating when there are much more desirable things to do with my limited free time.

Week nights we eat around 5:00pm. Dh works nights so he usually naps from about 6:30 to 9:30 and during the summer Ds umpires or plays baseball most nights and the games start at 6.
Weekends we usually eat later because we have lunch later.

My DD gets home from work just before 6:30. So we eat supper between 6:30 and 7, whenever I have it ready.

I am also single and cooking just for myself. I work 12 hr shifts and have started intermittent fasting again. I typically eat breakfast around 6 am (sometimes a bit later) lunch is at 10 and then dinner no later than 4. I sleep a lot better the earlier I eat I have found as I have gotten older also.

Usually around 6, closer to 7 if we go to the gym after work. On weekends, we eat between 5-6. If we go out to eat dinner, we like to go on the early side to beat the crowds. When we were both working from home full-time, we ate between 5-6. I don’t like to eat late because of my GERD. I like my food well digested before I go to sleep.

7:30-8:30. Last night it was closer to 9. DH gets home from work about 7:30 and it’s light out until almost 11. Our garden gets the full sun until about 7:30 and we have quiet time until then!
