I’m not sure if it qualifies as a “tool”, but my most recent purchase was a mini printer (I asked about here the other week) that I use for personal and junk journaling. Before that was my Cricut Joy. Love that little thing. Apparently I’m currently in the “miniature” mode. LOL

Dress my Craft Hexagon punch - so far disappointing but I'll pull it out of the freezer later and see if that's helped

Spellbinders Hot Foil Glimmer system. purchased it with Christmas money. And now I am collecting the plates... Haven't done a LOT with the system, but I like the results. Hoping to use it for Christmas cards this year.

Do stencils and daubers count? I bought a bunch of new stencils and daubers. I have a stencil problem. They are so expensive but I really like what they add to a page.
I really want to get a Cricut- somehow just never get around to it. I think that will be my big purchase this summer.

Probably a set of two paper piercers from Dollar Tree. They are NOT the sturdiest, but they work for me. I mainly use them for removing the backing off of my roll of 1.5" double sided tape. I would buy more.

The Spellbinders Glimmer system…which I’ve had for about a month and haven’t used yet.

The WRMK multi hole punch. It’s a little tricky to line up but really hefty and punches through a lot of things. For some reason, I never bought a crop o dile, so this works for me

my newest is actually a super old Scotch packing tape dispenser exactly like this. i bought it for a $1 at a yard sale and it fits a bunch of Scor-tape in different widths. such a life saver because i'll have tape rolls all over my desk and then i have to pick each up to cut pieces off. this dispenser allows me to cut Scor-tape like regular tape.

I got one of the large white magnetic glassboards for Christmas - would that be considered a tool?? I love it!

I got the large Spellbinders die cutting machine - the 9" platform. My Big Shot broke after 13 years of use, so I decided to get a larger platform for die cutting all of the sets i have that have a million pieces to cut and for oversized dies. I have the Gemini JR which is my main machine, though.

I bought a scallop heart punch and a set of nesting heart punches. I use my circle punches so often that I have expanded into the hearts. Even though they are a pain to take to crops, I find them so much quicker than using a die.

I got a heat press for Christmas from my parents. I love it! I’ve made third grade teacher tshirts for my team and Quidditch team shirts for “favorite sports team” spirit day for my daughter, the music teacher, and myself. I know it’s not really a scrappy tool but I use my Cameo with it. So that makes it scrapbooking adjacent right?

I think it was the Slimline Punch Board by WRMK. It's pretty cool, but I did receive defective directions. That's probably why it was on sale at HSN when I got it. Luckily, the first envelope I made was done with old paper that I didn't really care about. I was able to figure out the missing part easily, and now it works really well.

It’s been a while since I bought a tool. My guess is that it was a confetti heart punch that has gotten a good amount of use.

My most recent "tool" would be the Silhouette Cameo 4 I ordered over the weekend. It hasn't even arrived yet.

IMHO if an object/equipment/device is used in the process of papercrafting, it's definitely a tool! A Scan N Cut from my brother as a thank you for helping him move. Your sibling obviously appreciated your help & is a great gift giver! I can’t even remember the last tool I purchased. Hmmm. Sounds like I need to go shopping! 😂 I validate that logic. ETA: My most recent "tool" would be the Silhouette Cameo 4 I ordered over the weekend. It hasn't even arrived yet. I'm still deciding whether I would use one enough (just cutting backgrounds from cardstock) to justify it. What color machine did you chose - white, black, pink, other? Hope it's delivered soon!

I bought the WRMK multi hole punch. I really struggled with the cost but it’s been fabulous. I should have bought it earlier.
I really want some sort of foil plate system but don’t need it. But I want it.

If stamps and dies count, then the Crafty Concessions (flower/food cart)shaker kit from Queen & Co. would be it. If stamps/dies don’t qualify, it would be a flower shaping mold from Heartfelt Creations (HC).

I haven't really bought any new tools but I have recently purchased several Distress Oxide inks and a few stencils to play with. Also some blender brushes on order. I'm thinking this will be a messy endeavor.

Thanks for your replies. My latest purchase was a WRMK 12x12 Precision Press, but I'm uncertain whether to open/keep it as discussed here. The Cricut Joy is $99 for Prime Day on Amazon, and there are also deals on the bigger Cricut machines… MichyM & anyone else who may be interested in purchasing the Cricut Joy, I noticed it is also on sale for $99 this week at big box craft retailers (JoAnn, Michael's, Hobby Lobby), Target, etc. HTH. I haven't really bought any new tools but I have recently purchased several Distress Oxide inks and a few stencils to play with. Also some blender brushes on order. I'm thinking this will be a messy endeavor. IMHO stencils, inks, & blending brushes are papercrafting tools. While I do only minimal mixed media, using stencils & ink (with a blender brush to avoid inky fingers & reduce the mess) is among my favorites. Have fun! I decided on a white one... Hope it is delivered soon, & you love it!
