More.. To quash or not to quash: Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis spelled out the scope of her office's investigation and its focus on Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) in a Thursday federal court filing responding to his attempts to challenge a special grand jury subpoena. It’s the latest step in Willis’ fast-paced investigation into efforts by former President Donald Trump and his allies to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia. Why Graham: Graham, who was Senate Judiciary Committee chair at the time, called Raffensperger in the aftermath of the election as well — apparently in an effort to ask Raffensperger to toss some 2020 ballots. Graham has characterized the calls as benign, but Willis said his recollection was “not consistent” with accounts of the call from Raffensperger and his top deputy, Gabriel Sterling.www.politico.com/minutes/congress/08-4-2022/inside-the-georgia-2020-probe/

A heavily armed 'preacher', semi-automatic rifle and pistol, approached Beto O'Rourke at a campaign event asking Beto's stance on abortion. (Beto, another one with class!) O'Rourke responded by thanking the man for making the inquiry "in good faith" and argued that they weren't "going to change each other's minds on some of these very basic definitions." This decision is best made by the woman, who understands better than anyone else the nature of her pregnancy, the complications it might endure, any other issue that is unique and personal and private as her," O'Rourke said, noting that "more rapes committed in this state than any other state of the union." www.rawstory.com/heavily-armed-pastor-confronts-beto-o-rourke-at-campaign-event/

Why would anyone want to make a complete stranger cry and then brag about it? I saw this on Twitter and thought the same thing. Bragging about making someone cry in public. Seriously that makes you a man? Creep.

You ever notice when the right takes pot shots at the left they are literally taking about themselves and they have done or haven’t done. It’s amazing.

Why? Why? Former's appointment in 2019... President Joe Biden will not fire the Department of Security inspector general accused of a "cover-up of treason" for the deletion of Jan. 6 text messages that were critical evidence for those investigating Donald Trump's unsuccessful coup attempt, according to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. *** Cuffari oversees a staff of 750 to audit DHS, which has 240,000 employees and a $50 billion budget. www.rawstory.com/dhs-inspector-general-joseph-cuffari/

Let the body of that 10 year old blow up far out of proportion, after a birth that, hopefully doesn't kill her, rip that baby out of her arms telling her she too young to keep and care for her new born baby!!
How does she face that trauma..
Oh right let 'your' God take care of her... How did God get into law and medical decisions?

Former's lawyers are in talks with DC US Attorneys office. Trump has specifically been counseled to cut contact with his former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, whose actions leading up to and on the day of the US Capitol insurrection have been deeply scrutinized by the House panel, the people said. *** Some of Trump's attorneys believe Meadows could also be in investigators' crosshairs and are concerned he could become a fact witness if he is pushed to cooperate in the Justice Department probe, according to two people familiar with the matter. In response, Meadows' attorney George Terwilliger told CNN on Thursday: "All of that is idle and uninformed speculation, apparently by people that know little but talk a lot." *** Yet, according to a source familiar with the relationship, Trump and Meadows have spoken a number of times. Another source close to Trump described their relationship as "not the same as it once was" while they served in the White House, but insisted they still maintained a relationship, even as Trump has complained about Meadows in his recent conversations with other allies. www.cnn.com/2022/08/04/politics/trump-justice-department-january-6-criminal-investigation/index.html

So, is this true..... From his Summers County, West Virginia, farmhouse, Mark Jarrell can see the Greenbrier River and, beyond it, the ridge that marks the Virginia border. Jarrell moved here nearly 20 years ago for peace and quiet. But the last few years have been anything but serene, as he and his neighbors have fought against the construction of a huge natural gas pipeline. Jarrell and many others along the path of the partially finished Mountain Valley Pipeline through West Virginia and Virginia fear that it may contaminate rural streams and cause erosion or even landslides. By filing lawsuits over the potential impacts on water, endangered species and public forests, they have exposed flaws in the project’s permit applications and pushed its completion well beyond the original target of 2018. The delays have helped balloon the pipeline’s cost from the original estimate of $3.5 billion to $6.6 billion. But now, in the name of combating climate change, the administration of President Joe Biden and the Democratic leadership in Congress are poised to vanquish Jarrell and other pipeline opponents. For months, the nation has wondered what price Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin would extract to allow a major climate change bill. Part of that price turns out to be clearing the way for the Mountain Valley Pipeline."It’s a hard pill to swallow,” said Jarrell, a former golf course manager who has devoted much of his retirement to writing protest letters, filing complaints with regulatory agencies and attending public hearings about the pipeline. “We’re once again a sacrifice zone.” "The White House and congressional leaders have agreed to step in and ensure final approval of all permits that the Mountain Valley Pipeline needs, according to a summary released by Manchin’s office Monday evening. The agreement, which would require separate legislation, would also strip jurisdiction over any further legal challenges to those permits from a federal appeals court that has repeatedly ruled that the project violated the law. www.rawstory.com/joe-manchin-climate-change-2657811924/Whole lot more at link...

It’s hard, it’s really hard,” said Kathy Arnett, 40, who was raised in a hollow not far from Fleming-Neon. “They just don’t make no effort to put nothing in here to help our families.” Ms. Arnett spoke about the difficulty finding much of anything around here, most of all a good job. It was poisonous to the young, she said, the sense of futility that can set in. “I hold our presidents — not one, all of them — responsible,” she said. “They should have been trying sooner.” why not hold YOUR elected officials responsible? do-nothing, obstruct-everything Mitch? Rand Paul, who does I'm not sure what? The House representatives?? that lady with the emails talked about job creation for people in states like this, with dying job- I remember her talking about it in her speeches-- but I guess that wasn't good enough for them...
