My dad died today. He had Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia, so we knew it would be coming, but it’s still a big shock. He was sitting up in bed singing Nessun Dorma, with a perfect pitch, on Sunday. Thanks to the peas for being a place that I can voice my grief without upsetting my family. May he rest in peace. Nessun Dorma is the last act. Wow.((HUGS)) |

I’m so sorry. My dad died with Alzheimer’s years ago. It’s so hard to accept, even when they are no longer 100% the person you remember. Hugs to you.
