This is when I requested to be taken off some email lists-I had signed up for content emails from some of these folks and they used their emails lists to request dontations and/or sell things to fund the Kartchners. I did the same thing. I even unfollowed a bunch on Instagram as well. |

Well this thread took a turn with some piping hot tea and I am here for it I will never know what is true and whats false but what I do know is that photo of them in swimwear with him rocking an obvious hard one is pretty gross & a bit tragic In my opinion, these disgusting photos she’s posting give all the salacious rumors complete validity. I believe every word. |

Plus the cash and Venmo or Zelle....can't remember which was listed on her instagram with a "because people asked, here's my info" note. And there was also a huge benefit auction on the scrapping community. A bunch of “celebrity” makers auctioned products, private lessons, or completed projects etc. I had forgotten about that. |

Plus the cash and Venmo or Zelle....can't remember which was listed on her instagram with a "because people asked, here's my info" note. It was her Venmo and it was repeated many a time! Not only did she post the direct link to it but she used a sales strategy to encourage more donations by regularly posting screenshots of donations received on IG stories with captions of expression of gratitude and kissy smiley faces (and of course the link to her Venmo). It was like watching a small business after the launch of a brand new product. Well this thread took a turn with some piping hot tea and I am here for it PEEEEAAAAAACCCCCHHHH!  How are you? Can't believe how long it took me to get this...  The photos are obviously filtered, composed, and planned. There is no way they wouldn't know what it looks like. Someone even made a comment about it (now deleted), and Lizzy's beau weighed in on the discussion over his "manhood." What I don't understand is that her audience has basically been scrapbookers and members of the LDS community. I've been following her for awhile because I've enjoyed the Dear Lizzy products for years. So who are all these people liking her posts? There's something wrong with someone who says look-at-me-don't-look-at-me. I don't think she's well, and that makes this a very sad situation for both her and her kids. At some point, she'll crash and burn. I don't know if she's contributing to the scrapbooking community anymore. Instagram appears to be her whole life. |

If she wants to show off her body (she has a beautiful figure she has worked for) and creepy boyfriend on vacation without the kids and with new friends just own it. Instead she has to make her Instagram audience think that she deserves this on some spiritual level. I am sorry that her husband died but her sympathy card is worn out. Any sympathy I have is for her children.

I hate this kind of word salad garbage, my brother and his wife talk like that and I'm always like "what are you saying? I am curious, if anyone knows.... Is the $300,000+ that she collected from her, his, their groupies, fan club, etc... in the days, week, months since his passing.....a part of this foundation. Or are those collected funds separate from the funds of the foundation that her husband established? Separate. But did you all see the update on the GFM? Her SIL said you can ask for a refund because they found a "small life insurance policy." Why did DL not know her dh has one? Did they not talk to each other except for social media crap? Because I have a folder of all of dh's info. Our bank info, cc info, insurance info, our separate savings, his policy info, etc. You know like who we contact and all that. For someone soooooooo committed to her dh and he to her, you'd think they'd have that conversation. 🤷♀️ Sometimes your health insurance policy has a small life insurance rider. Usually only enough to cover burial expenses. Like $5-$10k |

It must be tough for them to see their Mom in a bikini looking steamy with her boyfriend's very obvious bulge - I'm sure kids at school must comment. Parents are embarrassing enough for kids, never mind having intimate moments splashed all over social media. I wouldn't be surprised if her parents, etc, felt the same way. |

I also was raised in a strict religious home and have seen it happen, but it's usually when kids go to spring break or college not when you are a 40+ year old mother of 4. Funny also to think of her as the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooker of The Year, she was the perfect image for their magazine, now I don't even think she scrapbooks. That's a whole other thread, but I wonder how many people who were really involved back in the day with getting published, scrapbook competitions, design teams, etc. got burned out and no longer scrapbook? |

ETA: I know not everyone who grew up in a repressive religion rebels this way. DL was an attention seeking person before Colin's death and is now taking her attention seeking to a whole new level. It's so sad she feels this is the way she needs to get likes. I'm all for people expressing their s3xuality but I feel there may be a better way to do it.
