Yep mine comes with me all the time. Not because I get a lot of calls but because I rely on it for lists, navigation, checking what's in stock where and the like - and also in case of emergency.

if my phone doesn't pair with my car right after I start the car up, then I know something is wrong, lol! (my new car doesn't have Sirius XM, so I listen to it via my phone.)

Yes- typically but I won't go back for it if I forget to grab it. I was a fairly late adopter of cell phones - didn't get one until DS went to boot camp in 2015 and I was afraid I would miss his call and didn't get a smartphone until some time after that. I know a few older people that are very proud of the fact they don’t have cells phones, or if they do have them, they refuse to turn them on or use them. That was my mum - she would only turn it on IF a) she had it AND b) she needed to make a call

I do, but my phone is also a medical device. It is the receiver for my glucose monitor.

I always take it with me, but leave it in my purse. Actually, I have a small, backpack purse. There’s a front, zippered pocket, that it fits perfectly in. I hardly ever take it out though.

I do. Mostly because I don’t carry a purse or wallet. I have a little card holder built into my phone cover. I also like to hear good music, so I have varying apps/playlists on at any given time, whether I’m in the car or walking the dog. Same, have never carried a purse. I keep ringer and notifications silenced. I am always listening to books and podcasts but do not listen to music.

I always have mine with me, felt lost without it then rare few occasions that I forgot it.
I don’t carry a purse anymore (unless I’m travelling/have other things I need to carry) as my phone has all my cards on it for paying with tap, earning points, etc. My phone case has a few slots for cards so I still carry my drivers license, credit card and bank card just in case tap goes down and I physically have to swipe my card.

Yes, I do, even after living a large portion of my life w/o one (I’m 70, got my first cell at 55). But as I get older, I find myself becoming more anxious about what ifs, especially about driving or car malfunctions. I only use it for the occasional phone call or text - I do all of my internet stuff on my tablet, but I do like knowing I can call Dh or Ds in an emergency.

The only time I don’t have my phone is if I am out with my husband exercising and he has his. Otherwise I will often leave without my purse, but not my phone. Because my ids are in my phone, as well as the ability to pay through my phone, besides my keys, it’s all I need. I will turn around for it. Fortunately, with my watch and Apple CarPlay, I rarely forget it.
I forgot to add, I’ve had a cell phone for over 1/2 my life (I’m 51). I feel weird without it at this point, similar to leaving home without my sunglasses. It just doesn’t happen!

Yes I take it absolutely everywhere. It's what I use to pay for everything. Plus it is my camera, and I want to have my camera with me at all times.

I do since I forgot it and my car battery died. That was fun.

I take my phone everywhere which I never thought I would do! I need it for work because I can't log into many of the things I need to do for work without my phone ... attendance is the big one ... I'm a teacher ... I take it everywhere in the house because my mum always calls when I don't have it.

Unfortunately I feel like I need to as I am surrounded by people who get upset if you don't respond to them immediately. I hate it.

I used to never take my phone with me as I was always afraid I would lose it! I am so unorganized. But I pin recipes so it's nice to have the phone so I can get something for dinner while I am out.

I always have my phone around me and turned off. I am always wearing my watch.
It used to drive my dh crazy when he'd try to call and I wouldn't answer. Especially when he was in the Navy.
Now, I let my watch tell me when I need to run and get my phone.

Yes... I had my wheelchair take off on me one too many times. Now I know the advantage of having it with me.
At home, even if I don't physically have it on me, I keep it somewhere low enough that I can reach it if I fall out of my wheelchair. I know I should get Lifeline, but I am not ready to feel that old. I don't feel like I fall with enough regularity to warrant it yet.
I will revisit if I start falling more often, or when I turn 55...whichever comes first. And I'm hoping it's 55. Even then, I'll see where I'm at, and if I'm still doing well, I'll wait & revisit again every year or two

Yes I take it with me in case of emergency.
However, I don’t always have it near me at home.

I take mine everywhere.
I do Target pickups for the house a couple times a week, and you have to pull up the app on the phone. Or show your drivers license. Or if I get a coffee at Dutch Bros., I need my phone for the points.
When you have kids, I think it helps you stay connected.
Not to mention that I use it for work, and I get messages all the time. I don't always need to answer them that second, but sometimes I do.

When I leave home, I have it with me. If forgotten, I would not turn around to get it unless I was going to be gone for several hours or I was driving at night.
In the house, I only have it around if it is convenient to me. I seldom give out my cell number. The house number is still the main one we use.

Almost always, because it's in a phone case with my DL and CC. Sometimes I leave it at home when I'm running but usually I take it even then, to listen to Spotify.
Always have it at work and in general next to me at home bc I get a lot of work-related texts regarding schedules and things.

I would strongly strongly encourage you to get one. You can keep it discreetly tucked into your shirt if you don't want to "look" old with one but it's just smart to have one in your case, whether you're 25 or 55. Please re-think your stance on this.

I have left home plenty of times without my phone. Technology does not rule my world. Each and every time I have survived and come out stronger. Prior to having a cell phone, I was always able to deal with a flat tire or family issues. Not having one has never cause a big issue. ETA: I do try to remember to bring it with me, but sometimes I forget and don't turn around when my watch tells me I forgot it.

I can't get the lug nuts loose and also I'm not doing that in this stage of my life. Last time I got a flat I hit something in the road and it was freezing out and I was on a very busy road. I was coming home after a 13 hr shift. No thanks. Technology doesn't "rule my world", it enhances it. I don't see how changing a tire after being up all night is going to make me come out stronger! More like kill me 😵💫

Always have the phone near me and take it whenever leaving the house. It seems that most people do these days. Funny anecdote - dh's 88 year old aunt was visiting our state so we traveled an hour to go have dinner with her. I was so surprised that she had her iphone sitting at the table and would check it from time to time. She even showed us some photos on it. When we were done with dinner she had our server take a photo. After dinner we went out to our car to leave and she had already posted the photo on her FB story. I was totally impressed with her tech savy! My parent are younger than her and will not touch a cell phone. My Mum in Law is approaching 90 and is the same. She uses WhatsApp, photos, text etc and I can only hope I've kept up with technology sufficiently when I'm that age. The motivation is strong which helps, because she hates missing out on family chat and loves seeing photos of her great grandchildren

My phone is never more than 2 foot away from me at any time. Even when I go to the loo!
