The mint tape works well if you only want to use part of a stamp. You can mask off on the paper and stamp your stamp, then the mint tape peels off very easily.

And thanks for the vote on mint tape kitbop! Makes me nervous when there's only marketing hype from the vested interest company selling a product to go by, especially when said thing looks near identical to a non-crafty product. I totally get this. Like you said, they have reviews on their site but so many are from people who received the product for free as DT members. Who knows how many of them would actually spend their own money to buy it? I have the same issue with SSS reviews. It may have improved by now but when they first launched the review feature all of the reviews were from DT members. And I don't think either company marks the DT reviews as being from their influencers which is just dodgy. Agreed - I don't put much stock in reviews from anyone affiliated financially with the company making the product. It's their job to sell this stuff to their audience and make it look as good/appealing/easy/fun/useful as possible. That and the crafting industry's regular 'acquisition' of new products that are nothing more than rebranded copies from another industry means it's wise to be cautious about "the super-duper-life-changing-new-thing".

I enjoyed this event. I hope they do it in the future.

I finally finished up the videos, lol. The only one that I really paid any kind of attention to, was Ali's. It's been a long time since I looked at her work, but seeing her video reminded me of how much I like her approach. Her aesthetic is clean, but unfussy. Easy on the eye, but not so precise that she stresses over any of it. I didn't follow her on IG because I don't do a PL, but I just added her in. I'm hoping I can find a way to use some of her ideas in my traditional 12x12 albums.
Fun event, I agree!
