Good Morning! I didn't see a chatty thread for SBC Fest, so I thought I would start one. Two whole days of papercrafting! What are you looking forward to? What are you prepping (or have prepped)? Did you shop? Or pull from your stash? I am looking forward to some new to me crafters, taking Shimelle and Vicki B.'s class...of course! What are you looking forward to?I am looking forward to seeing what everyone does, and what we are making. There are a bunch of crafters I've never seen before, and I am going to try and take Simon Hurley's class and make my first Slimline card. What are you prepping (or have prepped)? I prepped some food (got lots of snacks lol) and cleaned my scrap space. I also grabbed some essentials and cut down some Neenah for card bases, so I did not have to do that on the fly during the class time. Did you shop? Or pull from your stash? I pulled from my stash for the most part, but yes, I did place a scrapbook.com order yesterday-there were a few things I wanted to get before they were gone, like the Pinkfresh #4 sentiments (thank you sleepingbooty for pointing them out! They look fantastic and pretty reasonably priced, for quite of few of them-39 I think) Happy Crafting!

I haven't had too much time to review it, but will def check it out when I can today/tomorrow. I like many/most of the presenters, so I am sure they will be good. Simon Hurley always has cool tricks and products.
I did not prep or shop anything. Hoping to work on catching up my "stop the blur" weekly spreads if I have a chance. I enjoy mindless scrap chatter in the background that I don't have to participate in.

I had planned to watch today but had to go into work instead - boo hoo! I'm glad the videos will be available later. I bought one of the bundles - for Laura Graff's class. It was $29 but had $97 worth of items in it, so why not. I've been wanting to try their paper pads anyway, and the dies were ones I could use over and over again.

I have done NO prep. I have been busy trying to get my summer pages done, with the help of SKETCHtember. I also signed up for Shimelle's stencil class and while I want to try her techniques have not yet taken them on.
Did you shop? Or pull from your stash?
I was tempted by the SB dot com email last week to scoop up a class set of supplies at 60% off their original cost, but since I already own the die sets I would actually use, I decided for me it was not such a deal.

I am way excited about it, but also have a Victoria Marie crop this weekend so I will probably be popping in/out of SCT and catching some on replay. I did not prep or purchase ahead and I am working today lol. I will catch up as I can.

Nope, no registration (you could sign up for the newsletter, but all the info that was in the newsletter is online now at the link) and no cost. I know...honestly it looks pretty amazing and accessible...and not on Facebook!!  |

I probably will watch this later because my kiddo was sick for the past two days (not covid thank goodness) but it threw off my house cleaning schedule so I really need to disinfect the house so I don't get sick. |

I'm not sure that I'll actually play along with each class, but I'm watching (as of about 5 minutes ago - I started a bit late.) I will definitely pull from my stash when the time comes. I have a cart going, but not sure that I will purchase. |

And some of that mint tape... You definitely need the mint tape. I thought it was going to be a bit of a gimmick product and didn't think it would do anything I don't already do with washi, but the ease with which it pulls away from paper leaves me confident it won't tear (unlike some of my washi which has left damaged bits on some of my die cutting). I am a little concerned about how many things I'm going to have added to my cart by the time I've watched all the videos from this weekend though, I already found myself searching for products during the first two presenters! |

I was able to watch for a little bit yesterday, but I am excited to spend today in my craft room during this. The grandparents are coming over to help entertain the children while I hide amongst my supplies and create.
Mama needs some uninterrupted crafty time. Yay for grandparents! 😁
