Catching up on comments here... MDscrapaholic, you are a card making dynamo! Look for some lifts of these pretty Oxide colours on craft in the future! (I need to replace my clear embossing pastes which have dried out from lack of love...) Linda, your page for Shimelle's stencil class is drop dead gorgeous! Love the colours, the iridescence, the pretty photo. Matting it all with brown and tan and soft green is perfect. And the camping page has a classic look. That pp line reflects the photo colours wonderfully, giving the whole page a solid feel. Your dd is beautiful. I love the different ways you scrap her school portraits. And I love how even though you have added all these new techniques and tricks you have gone back to your basic style with those and the GG pages: perfectly matched cs/pp and an icon or two that captures the theme. There is love for cannmom and scrappyrabbit in th eGallery. |

Well since my Epsom PM-400 was on the fritz, I went with some photos that needed to be scrapped to finish the album from 17 years ago! This is another layout done with the sketch from Sketchtember day 25. I wanted to do different butterflies and liked the way they pulled out her dress...but now they feel a little funereal to me.  layout a little messy by kirstendrew, on Flickr And this is a layout completed from my Mom's start of a scrapbook page. Beautiful cards Aheartfeltcard - I especially like how different the design of each one feels and yet you have a "clean and simple" vibe that tells they all belong to the same artist! I finished two - taking it easy on myself and just doing single photo layouts right now. Catching up here before I start flooding this thread with my LO's from this past weekend's crop. There will be fourteen two-page LO's landing over the next few days. Aheartfeltcard, your cards are GORGEOUS!!! That white on white city skyline behind the snowbank and seen through the circle window is ingenious! I have the dies to copy this. Stay tuned for a lift over the next couple of weeks as I get into holiday cards! And of COURSE I love that little gnomie! Such a simple card, but perfect minimalist design and so CUTE! Loving all the details like that snowfall behind those sweet coloured foxes. Those Spellbinders floral dies are pretty themselves, but your choice of colours for You're Engaged is amazing! Love that teal and purple together, and so much love and work to create this beautiful card. Another minimalist design that I love in the You Are Blessed card. I always want to go over the top with texture and layering with leaf stamps and dies, but your focal on this card shows me that less CAN be more... And BOO to you, too! What a fun card to make with that ugly image! Love the orange! Great ingenuity in using your scraps creating the Forever Grateful card! I have some leaf photos that may end up cut into strips to use for a copy! And speaking of ingenuity, that new baby card is a hoot! Love those inky paw prints! There is love in the Gallery for kitbop and scrappyrabbit and cannmom, and in your Flickr album, angel97701. Heading off to Flickr to leave love for gramma. |

Four of my crop LO's. This first one is for the November DONNA challenge. The leaf background is a photo I snapped in the yard and justjac printed for me on her 12x12 laser printer. There is journaling on the back printed on gold vellum and heat embossed.
