When you fools start talking about holding people accountable you had better start first with people in your own party.

Like I said, if these fools are so hell bent on holding people responsible for their actions, they had better start with members of their own party first…
We will never know how much of what dumpster don did contributed to how fast the Afghan government and military collapsed when we started pulling the last of our troops and evacuating those who wanted to leave. And only an idiot would think what trump did had nothing to do with the chaos of those final days.

I would say the country is going in the wrong direction based on the Supreme Court decisions, Republican behavior and the general downfall of our democracy. I support Biden and will vote for whatever democrat is up for re-election given the current behavior of the republicans

Because it’s one of theirs so it’s ok to ignore what was done…
Just to be clear to what Oz did. He took a litter of puppies and stuck needles into their hearts. Obviously they didn’t survive that.

He was dealing with the terrorists not the government which of course lead to a mess but it was Biden’s fault. I can’t believe anyone would think that it would have gone better under Trump. Of course former later said he never would have left 🤦♀️ like it was all Biden’s idea.

GOP has pulled millions for ads from New Hampshire.. Doubt the will flip Pennsylvania. Cheri Beasley has a very good shot in No Carolina .. we can hope for Barnes to win over Ron Johnson.. Surely Fetterman beats Oz..🤞 The NRSC initially reserved $9 million in the state, and AdImpact showed the party cutting $2.7 million in ads. Hassan leads by an average of 8 percentage points, according to 538," Politico reported. "The NRSC will redirect the New Hampshire money to Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Nevada — all states with races that appear much closer and more winnable than New Hampshire. Republicans need to flip one Democratic seat and hold Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida and North Carolina in order to reclaim the Senate majority next year."In Arizona, Blake Masters is challenging Sen. Mark Kelly. In Georgia, Herschel Walker is taking on Sen. Raphael Warnock. In Pennsylvania, Dr. Mehmet Oz is facing Lt. Gov. John Fetterman in an open Senate race. And in Nevada, former Attorney General Adam Laxalt is running against Sen. Catherine Cortez. "Their(GOP) best chance to flip a seat is probably Nevada, as Hassan and Sen. Mark Kelly (Ariz.) hold reliable leads in their races. And the tight Georgia race has been rocked by allegations that anti-abortion Republican candidate Herschel Walker paid for an abortion," Politico noted. www.rawstory.com/gop-yanks-millions-in-ads-from-election-denying-maga-nominee-report/

Anyone who tries to falsely claim that we are energy independent or we just need to open more drilling sites, should read this. We are the world's largest oil producer, but our demand outstrips the supply. And OPEC has the ability to control prices. www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2022/10/08/us-is-worlds-largest-oil-producer-why-youre-going-pay-more-gas-anyway/ The U.S. produces 18.8 million barrels of oil per day but consumes slightly more — 20.5 million barrels per day. (The world as a whole consumes about 100 million barrels per day.) That difference means that no matter what, the U.S. has to purchase oil on the global market.
And even if U.S. production exactly matched U.S. demand, the country would still be importing and exporting oil constantly. Crude oil can be heavy or light, sweet or sour, and those qualities affect how much it needs to be refined and for what uses. U.S. oil companies constantly export crude oil and import refined oil, and vice versa.
“Real power in the oil market comes from being able to stabilize prices,” he said. McNally argues that what matters most for stabilizing global oil prices is “spare production capacity” — defined as how much a producer can ramp up oil production within 30 days. That spare production capacity allows a producer to ramp up — or slow down — oil production basically at will, shifting global prices.

I can’t figure out why people vote for candidates like the ones described below. Are these voters like the ones they are voting for? Are they deliberately clueless to these folks beliefs and actions? Do they think it would be a great joke to elect these individuals and send them to Congress?
It’s a mystery 🤷🏻♀️
From the article…
“There’s the woman from North Carolina who was accused of hitting one husband with an alarm clock, trying to hit another with a car (and also menacing him with a frying pan) and punching her daughter. She denies that, though she also invoked a conspiracy belief that alien lizards control the government.
There’s the man from Ohio who lied about his military record, lavishly promoted QAnon themes, acknowledged bypassing police barriers at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and with 120 gallons of paint turned his entire lawn into a Trump banner.
&
There’s the man from Michigan who claimed that Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman participated in a satanic ritual, who once disparaged women’s suffrage, and who, though Black, raised concern about Democrats “eroding the White population.”
&
Then there are: the Texas woman accused by her estranged husband of cruelty toward his teenage daughter; the Colorado woman who backed an effort to secede from her state; the Virginia woman who speculated that rape victims wouldn’t get pregnant; and the Wisconsin man who used campaign funds from his failed 2020 race to come to Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, where he apparently breached Capitol barricades.
What they all have in common is that they’re in competitive races, which means they could well be part of a Republican House majority in January. And that’s on top of a larger group of GOP nominees in deep-red congressional districts who are a motley assortment of election deniers, climate-change deniers, QAnon enthusiasts and Jan. 6 participants who propose to abolish the FBI and ban abortion with no exceptions, among other things. Some won nominations despite efforts by party leadership to stop them and continue without financial support from the National Republican Congressional Committee.
