I think we're about done. I think that Kevin and Missy have aged out and aren't as cute or funny as they used to be. JMHO of course!

We are still watching. It is rather a jolt as Sheldon's voice is changing. I keep waiting to see how George's death will be presented.
I just read a "news story" and it says that Missy's life is going to go downhill in the next episodes.

They have made Sheldon obnoxious this year. He isn’t endearing, like before.
I do find the whole pregnant girlfriend and church reaction fascinating. I know it’s fiction but I’m sure there is some reality to that.
I feel sorry for George.

We are still watching it. Like librarylady we are waiting to see what happens with George. Memaw reminds me of my own mom. Love her!

I was kind of shocked at his voice change this year and then looked it up and realized it has been on much longer than I thought. So they are much older after so many years and yes just not so cute. They are growing up so much. I don’t think it will be on much longer. I’m still watching but it has changed a lot. He isn’t the main focus as much especially with the pregnancy that has taken over.

I’m still watching.
Yes, the voice change was a bit jarring, esp because it is so low.
The church reaction is not a surprise. I’m surprised it is not worse given what I saw in my Catholic High School when my best friend became pregnant at 16.

I am not as interested anymore because of all the reasons stated in the above posts. I didn't finish last weeks show. The only ones that I like are MeMaw and the dad
I feel the same way about the old Leave it to Beaver shows. LOVED the first seasons when Beaver was little. He was so cute. But I can't stand the later shows when he is big, awkward, dorky and has a creepy voice.

I still watch ..I don't mind the story lines changing directions.. but I liked sheldon tutoring billy and being convinced that zero had no meaning. it would be weird if they didn't grow up.

I still watch, but mostly out of habit. I really lost interest when they started having the Dad show interest in the neighbor.

I do like a comedy. Most of the reality tv and game shows don't interest me, so there aren't a ton of choices for comedy. I still enjoy it and I still watch reruns of BBT and love it when they kind of cross over with something Sheldon says in BBT and it appears in an episode of YS. I do love Annie Potts and seeing "Coach."

Im still watching. Last week, Sheldon was annoying as hell. This week, not as much. I find that I’m liking non-Sheldon storylines more.

The storyline was set before this show even existed (during BBT). He cheated on their Mom. Then he died. If we go by history set by BBT, Sheldon's dad dies when he's 13. I believe him and Missy are 13 this season. It'll be too bad, I like the Dad a lot. I like the Georgie storyline. And the church storyline and Mary feeling lost is good too. I like how the depict the hypocrisy and that Sheldon actually called then out a week or two ago. We know she finds her way back though!

We are watching. I think they have wisely upped the focus on supporting characters. It isn't really about Sheldon anymore. Georgie's story and Mary's break from the church are the most interesting to me right now.

I saw a BBT rerun this week where Sheldon explained he always knocks 3 times because he walked in on his dad and another woman in bed. So they had to set up George with the neighbor or someone else.
I think they seem older than 13 now so I guess unless they take Sheldon to adulthood they will go one or two more seasons.

I am watching and still look forward to it each week. Sheldon’s deeper voice though, makes him sound like a robot. I am enjoying Georgie’s and Mary’s storylines though.

I just read a "news story" and it says that Missy's life is going to go downhill in the next episodes. George is an alcoholic and terrible father per Sheldon in TBBT, I’m still watching but don’t know if I want to see him take an ugly turn.

They really need to wrap it up. Dealing with growing children is always a challenge on these types of shows, but you layer in the information that we know from BBT and the series was always going to have a limited shelf life. The kids are too old to pretend they're not 13 yet. I've been hanging on waiting to see the finale, but it needs to get there ASAP.

I figure the end must be coming soon, given the back story from BBT.
I'm still watching because I like Annie Potts & Craig T. Nelson, and I enjoy the time period. Plus I too am interested in the storyline with the church, since we know Mary doesn't give up on her religious beliefs entirely, so something must change again for her. And I'm interested in the Georgie storyline, too.
Right now I really have no interest in Sheldon at all.

This is the 6th season and it has been renewed through the 7th. Ok so they will probably keep him alive until the end. The actor that plays Sheldon is 14 I think but I’m hoping they keep the other storylines going. I think the dad said they hadn’t done anything yet so that must be coming soon. I think the show wouldn’t last after he dies. Although I love Annie Potts and Georgie’s storyline.

I’m still watching. I love Meemaw. In fact, I just became a grandma a few weeks ago and when people asked me what I wanted to be called I decided on Memaw for myself as I was calling the lil squish Moonpie. I even got him an outfit with moons all over it. Gonna have to get a photo of him in it soon!

I know it’s fiction but I’m sure there is some reality to that. I feel sorry for George. In the Big Bang Theory, did they ever mention if Georgie had kids?I know he was divorced a few times. I have a feeling the girlfriend won't have the kid. Sheldon and Missy are annoying now. I'm kind of hoping something happens between George and the neighbor woman.

I agree with all that was said above about how the YS show is going right now. I'll hang on until the end though because I love Sheldon and BBT and need my sitcom fix. Cindy

IIRC, Georgie ends up with some kids, but that may be entirely wrong.
My subconscious says the dad dies while in bed with Brenda.........again, not sure where I got that.

I mean, it's a story we already know. Plus what do you want them to do? re-cast the kids? they have to grow up. That's part of the story.
