Per msnbc Bobert is trailing and it’s not looking good for her because the Dem is out pacing what Biden did in 2020. Fingers crossed she gets the boot. Please please please please!

All 4 of the voting age people in my house voted for Bennett, so happy to see that result. Boebert is not my district rep, thank goodness, but ecstatic to see her losing. Our Colorado incumbent Democratic governor, won handily. Yay Colorado!

Thank you! So happy to see this one. The Republican candidate is really terrible. He's an election denier, although he did walk that back very recently after the primary. In a debate, he said abortions should be up to "gentleman politicians".

CNN has called Texas for Abbot. AP just called it, too, regrettably.

If it’s legitimate, then YES, it is ABSOLUTELY INSANE. The right wing propaganda machine has people mind-fucked into voting against their own best interests - and celebrating what they are deluded enough to perceive as “wins”.

Bad news in Virginia. Luria who was on the Jan 6 committee lost.
Also, good news in Rhode Island. The Democrat running for the House was really struggling and it was a close race, but the Democrat won.
Pennsylvania looks like it's leaning blue, for governor and Senate.

Control of the Senate looks like it will come down to Georgia, Arizona and Nevada. www.nytimes.com/interactive/2022/11/08/us/elections/results-needle-forecast.htmlGeorgia might come down to a run - off. On PBS, Mark Short (Pence's chief of staff) said the results of a run - off might depend on who has control of the House and/or Republicans. If Republicans get control, Republican voters might be more willing to vote for Warnock. If control is on the line, Republican voters would be more likely to vote for Walker.

NY Times and AP have not called it yet, but it's an uphill battle for Beto, unfortunately. No one locally here has called it, though Abbott is leading by a small amount with something like 21% reporting. I think Abbott will win, ultimately, but that's probably no real surprise. But I could still hope, and I can for the moment. When I wrote that post I was scrolling social media and 3 local stations posted on their social media that they were calling the race for Abbott. I have no idea what they were saying on tv because I didn’t have it on, but they almost certainly had called it on their socials.

Boebert was a definite, predicted win for Republicans, but Democrat Frisch is holding at 51.9% vs. 48.1% with 70% of votes in and a major count from Pueblo county which leaned toward Frisch +12. Hoping.....

aj2hall I was glad to see that Hassan won and I give her credit for the way she thanked Bolduc in her speech and immediately shutdown her supporters who started to boo when she mentioned him. ETA - and I will be so happy not to see those ads anymore. 😉😄

Patty Murray won again for Washington. This one shouldn't have been as worrisome as it was. Fingers crossed for Oregon governor.

Our Colorado incumbent Democratic governor, won handily. Yay Colorado! As an independent, I pretty much voted the blue party line this year. Colorado seems to be staying purple this election. I was so happy to see Bobert losing. So. Damn. Happy. Let's hope it stays that way. I didn't think Polis would have a problem with the views Ganahl (?) had with women's rights. ETA: They still have her predicted to win though.

I just don't understand why all states aren't vote by mail. I mean, I do, because the Republicans are against it, but it is insane. It should not be that hard for people to cast their legal votes.
