I donate money to out-of-state campaigns because it's important to me to have a Senate majority and because I live in a state where Democratic candidates for senate will win without any help from me. I don't think out of staters sending money to Warnock is anything nefarious or new. When the senate control is so close, it is bound to happen. When people, individuals, donate monies they are recorded in the forms sent to the FEC and are available to seen. The huge PAC monies do not have people's names, they are hidden within the privacy of the PACs..and those raise millions .... No where near my $10 here and there!!

Once upon a time, being a wife beater who can barely form sentences would have been an automatic out --but not in today's Republican party. How shameful. It's quite clear that rural Georgians are totally scared of black people having positions of power. And that they'd vote in someone like MTG, and re-elect her, speaks volumes. But all I can do is vote with my conscience. This was addressed sometime ago.. They said they could vote for a black Republican and know he would toe the line, so to speak. Then people would not be upset that they rejected a black democrat man. And why Walker didn't get the votes Kemp got, because the people in Georgia could not, would not vote for a "dirty', cheating, lying Democrat EVER!! Evangelical christians voted for Walker because he repented. Trouble is he never confessed or accepted responsibility his transgressions.

Is it that Walker isn’t a threat to them in regards to intellect and likely gaining more power in the party than he would have as senator (although I would have said trump would never be in power, either)? Whereas Warnock is smart, well spoken, and likeable?

I’m on page two, so this part of the conversation may be over, but FTR, I donate to political campaigns outside my state (in every election) far more than inside my state (we are fairly solidly blue). And I did donate to Warnock’s campaign (as well as Abrams’ campaign) a few weeks ago and likely will donate to Warnock again.
Nothing nefarious in my intent.

He’s a complete moron that says stupid crap constantly. I can’t believe anyone would vote for him . . . Well most of them did vote for Trump so . . . I still have 2 pages to read but this made me giggle. Could say the same thing about the last guy. If the “yes” response is serious I’d really like an explanation of why this person feels this way. And I believe he’s a terrible choice and is being used by the Republican party. Sadly, if they are serious, they would never enter into a serious conversation here. And the "sadly" isn't on the their voting choice but that they don't feel safe voicing their opinions. But that's a whole other thread.
