That thread will be set up with some “Regular” pre-set challenges up front. That will be followed by a list of challenge categories. To set your own challenge, reply to the thread, name the category it fits in, and list your challenge. Try to spread your challenges over more than one category. PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE: No challenge other than the preposted ones will count for more than one point per month. SHARING: Your creations can be shared in individual challenge threads ( Regular weekly or monthly challenges) or in the Q-1 Sharing Thread on the General Scrapbooking board. You do not HAVE to share your creation to earn your challenge points, but only those shared will earn the Sharing points. Please do NOT share as an attachment directly from your device. If you have any questions about how to share from Flickr or from another source that does not overload our board’s memory capacity, please check out THIS THREAD or ask in your team’s sharing thread. POINTS:All the points earned by a team member will be added to the team’s grand total. Try to keep a running total of your points, and report them to your team leader when asked. Earn one point for your team each time you: *set a challenge *create something no matter the size. *share a photo or scan of that creation with us. PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE: There will be NO OLD SCHOOL COUNTING, just what we used to call EASY PEASY:
POINT SCORING AND BONUS: Flat number of points for each creation, depending on its SIZE 20 points for every creation that is at least 8”x11”. 15 points for each creation that is between 5”x7” and 8”x11” 10 points for any creation smaller than 5”x7” Q-1 challenge list: Print a list of challenges. When you meet a challenge for the first time in the month, check it off. The challenge is to see how many you can meet! At the end of the month, count your checkmarks. One point per checkmark. BONUS points: how many challenges did you tick off in 1 month? 10 = 25 20 = 100 30 = 200 40 = 300 50 = 500 60 = 650 70 = 800 80 = 1000 all of them = 1500 Next month start over with a clean slate and see how many challenges you can meet that month. Note:. Please note: the only challenges with the chance to earn multiple points will be the “Special”, “Weekly” or “Monthly” challenges. When you meet one of these, you can also check it off for your monthly total. Points for the Donna Challenge, Photo Challenge, Sketchy Saturdays, 28-4-28 will be as outlined in the challenge, but you can also check them off to count towards your bonus If you create multiple cards with the same design (let's say 10 for this example), you can show us ONE of them. Then you would claim 10 for creating and 1 for sharing before going on with other points. (11 points in the example) * EASY PEASY, just go by points for that size (let's say 15 in this case) and multiply by number of cards (10), add on your points for creating/sharing (11) and your total would be 161 points for ten cards. Marking my spot. I've long used the easy peasy points as I hated trying to keep track of all the points/bonus points for each layout, so I'm excited for this change.

Just a quick reminder about the February reset coming... Q-1 challenges: Count up your checkmarks for the month of January, then reset. Either print the challenge list again, or use a different colour for February. We get to check--and count--each challenge again, one time, for a February point. 28-4-28: Each challenge is worth 5 points (with a bonus of 2 points if the Twist is used). ALSO: each 28-4-28 challenge completed can add one more checkmark to your February total. kitbop and joyfulnana, can you please pass this on to your teams? |
