Another Colorado layout for me to kick off 2023! The gondolas were cut with my mom's cricut. Take me Away by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr How cute. I need gondola die cuts. We were in Winter Park riding them in Winter Park. ETA: I really love seeing Colorado layouts!

950nancy, that is a FUN layout! Love how the happy hexagons offset the action in the photos on the opposite page. Perfect embellishment, too. TFS.

950nancy , that is a FUN layout! Love how the happy hexagons offset the action in the photos on the opposite page. Perfect embellishment, too. TFS. I planned a bunch of layouts right after the 6 x 6 class came out at Scrapbook Generations. Finally getting to them.

This layout is for MOC Day 4 at The Lilypad. The challenge was to re-scrap a page that we had done and was in the Lilypad gallery. I had already planned to re-scrap the original page, which was for a template challenge, and I wasn't 100% happy with it. And luckily for me, I can also use it for my Time For a Re-Do challenge, which I set before I even knew it would be one of the MOC challenges. This is the original: And this is the new page:
I don't know which version I'm going to put in my album. Who knows, I might even stick with the original.

grammadee - I love that sketch - you should have used it for a sketchy saturday! I'll use it anyways AussieMeg - wow, just putting the white die cut over the multicolour paper makes this look SO intricate - it's lovely! My first since November - a little hard to start, and I'm not sure I love having a "floating" title (I think I always anchor my title to an element). Some old simple stories scraps and really old Amy Tan letter stickers make me feel good to dig into my stash. And I went back to matting with layers of tissue paper that I used a lot a few years ago. However: ask your kids if they know what a "swell" is? NONE of my 3 knew that a swell was a wave!!! They are adults. They read. They are smart. I am flabbergasted. layout youre swell by kirstendrew, on Flickr

kitbop DD knows but she has been into marine sciences since she was like 3 years old. And we have been to the beach and I explained different terms. Plus on our news we get things like expect 6 to 8 foot swells can occur LOL so yeah.

Used an older die (Honey Bee Bird House A2 Card Base) and a few random pads of 6x6 papers and made 5 birdhouse cards. The door opens for a place for sentiment (which I'll stamp before I send the card).

loads of inspiration here already - I'll need to come back and comment Finally had a chance to scrap this afternoon while chatting on the phone with a friend This one is 8x8 for DD16's Girl Scout album - PP is from a Recollections pad that DH found at a yard sale for me. This is the title page for the 2023 family album - PP is from the same Recollections pad, alphas are Club Scrap and 20+ years old, enamel dots are EP I think also 2023 - PP was a RAK from kmage, title and sentiment are stamped our lemon tree at the old house - chipboard stickers are Simple Stories - sketch is an old Sketchtember one I think This one is for my portrait album - it was framed but I printed a new photo of DD22 for the frame so...PP is probably Paper Studio or Recollections, not sure on the sticker

linda I really like the layouts you shared! You used the photorealistic papers really nicely. And the lemon tree layout… brilliant! My parents have a lemon tree and I loooove their lemons. grammadee that is an interesting sketch! I want to print it out and play with it. Great take on it with the winter scene.

I downloaded the layout counter from somewhere on FB a long time ago and just found it on my computer. Funny how coloring in a piece of the "J" in January has been such a motivator. I am already on the "A" with finishing my tenth page this month. I've done 10 pages in 3 days. Not bad. I go back to work on Monday. Since I'm done by 11:45, I still have a lot of time to scrap. I really want to get finished with 2021 this month though. That would make me feel accomplished. I did 3 more pages to share. Marathon Sunset by Nancy Tim, on Flickr Theater by Nancy Tim, on Flickr This layout cracks me up. It has so much going on. I thought that maybe I should go back and keep the paper in the middle all the same, but to be fair, it really exemplifies what was going on that day. We rented a golf cart for the day to cruise around Key West and it was madness. The traffic, the people, the stores were all so busy. I decided the paper just reminds me how busy the place was. PP is from deep in the stash...eyelets are Eyelet Outlet and have been in the stash for many years. Both alpha stickers are Paper Studio and the stamps are Momenta. This one uses PP from another yard sale pad DH bought - Colorbok this time - sticker is EP Getaway, chipboard tag is coloured with Ohuhu markers PP from a Recollection pad DH got at the yard sale, border is a RAK from kmage I think, stickers are EP Gingerbread Christmas

This page is for MOC Day 6 at the Lilypad. The challenge was to have a Font, Alpha or Word Art take centre stage in the layout, and not use any photos. I'm going to use this as my title page for my PL album. I didn't do the hearts myself, it's from a set by Rebecca McMeen.

Wow! I really need to catch up on comments here! But first I want to sneak back to the last quarter... Starting on page of Q-4 sharing thread... artbabe, your pages are all so eye catching! Love your use of colour and design! Those kitty photos are really sweet. Love how your page makes a comfy bed for old Gus, and young purrfect Carl gets vibrant stripes. Speaking of vibrant, those beachy pages of the boys POP! Red & yellow really embodies a day in the sun. I had never thought to use red on a beach LO. And you go right from that to the soft ocean blues and sand colours of the next set, creating a feeling of complete relaxation on vacation. Those nephews of yours were so cute! And you used the NJFB kits masterfully on the baby pages. Perfect choice for colour and pattern. Are you one of the people who said they hate scrapping Christmas? I think you should make a career of it! Those holiday pages are super well done with the divided backgrounds and strong matting to pull the photos out of the festive papers. No wait: you should make a career out of doing beer posters! Those drinking pages are fantastic! Love that Remisnisce bubbly in the background and the perfect sprinkles you found and used! Oh and the "old school" page with all the purples is so warm and bright. Great use of masculine papers for the boy LO's. Gotta love that moody teen pic: SRSLY indeed! Love the little touches on the Zoo pages: it's hard to make them each unique, but you did it. Love that tree/giraffe diecut. The little boy pages are sweet. Great idea to use buttons with that tinkertoy pp. I love that line and it sold out way too fast... Pete's page--along with the earlier beach ones--convince me I really need to use red & yellow together more often. Those sleeping babies pages are precious. Layered torn edges is one of my favourite looks. That Let's Scrap page is really fun with all the hexagons with scrappy tools floating up the page, like creative ideas... And Goat? Again, perfect papers: that plaid looks like straw. Love that all your beach LO's are so different. And you use such cool little elements like the flip flops and sand castle. You must have had a blast scrapping all those delightful little boy photos! "Here for the Snacks" is the perfect caption. And I just screen shotted that Batman page. Look for a lift in the near future! Whew! I will be back to comment on the projects shared on this thread...

Linda - love that Ford's garage page - the realistic background is amazing with the metal texture! Also - scor triangles - we love love love them and DD asked for them as one of our Christmas treats this year. Can I suggest adding broken pretzels to the top? It adds that extra crunch and salty and takes them next level!!!

Still need to come back and comment, but decided to share these pages from yesterday and today: For yesterday's Sketchy Saturday. AussieMeg , I know it is only one point, and I won't claim it, but I had to tell you that I put these two pages together and unstuck them THREE times before I finally got these to this stage, and I see from the photo that the pp pieces are STILL not lined up properly... Two sketchy Saturdays (10) Plus bonus for 3 of them (20). P-16. C/M-7. T-8, W/T-4. N/S-8. (5) Total: 134

cmpeter those are darling little bird houses! Any recipient will be delighted, no matter the occasion! Linda, I see you are on a roll. kitbop, AussieMeg, nylene and 950nancy, there is love on Flickr. That Recollections pad with the clocks and gears and windows and doors in a perfect backdrop for your first two pages above. Love how you stamped the title for the New Years' page. I need to pull out my stamps and letter dies more. And that photo of the lemon tree is the perfect one to use with those pretty lemon squeeze papers. Do you have a lemon tree at your new house? I grow many things in my garden, but lemons are not among them! The grad page for your dd is very elegant. Using those antique vehicle and metallic floor papers for that Fords Garage page is brilliant! Love the shots of your family having fun together. And I have to say your dh is a wonderful scrapbook supply shopper!

This layout is for MOC Day 8 at The Lilypad. The challenge was as follows: 1. A single photo blended into the background using layers of paint, watercolor, gesso, etc. 2. Only have a small cluster on your page, so the painted image is the main focus. I used 15 copies of the photos, blended into photo masks, watercolour brushes, gesso, magic lights, and using different blend modes.

cmpeter , your bird house cards are so cute. I love the variety of papers and patterns you used. Sweet little details like the hinges on the door. Adorable cards. They will each brighten someone's day! Linda , wow, I love that background paper behind the group hiking photos. So artistic and so perfect for your theme. Your husband has a great eye for scrapbook sales!~ That’s a beautiful page for beginning 2023. It will make you want to get that album filled! ~ I love the photos of your family at the table. Great way to commemorate the new year. I need to remember to take more of that kind of photo. ~ That’s a great design with the slanted papers behind your lemon tree. Very classy page.
