I got my tracking#! It’s just the label created but that’s a start! Who sent you the email for the tracking number? Was it SCT or the shipping company? It came from noreply@web.freightcom.com and it's coming UPS. As of today it's moving thru the system and should be here next Thursday. For the event last fall, I never received a tracking number. One day I opened the front door and the box was sitting on my porch.

Wed the 1st for me too
It’s hit or miss if I get a tracking number/shipped email. But, I’ve always gotten my box of goodies.

Thanks! Checked my email by searching "freight" and found my notice in junk mail. It will come via Purilator. Have not checked ETA yet.
ETA Friday the 3rd. And that carrier has a drop off point in town so should be no problems with picking up my package.

I haven't either. Didn't someone say that ship those that have the furthest to travel first? Isn't SCT based in eastern Canada? Toronto maybe? I figure since I'm in New England, I'll probably be pretty far down the list.

I got my shipping notice on Wednesday and it says it will be delivered on Tuesday. I’m in the Seattle area. I didn’t recognize the sender so I had not clicked on it. I went back and found it in my junk mail. It was shipped through freight.com. 12 lbs.

Hi all! The days are slipping by quickly so I thought I'd better stick my nose in here too. To answer the most important question - no shipping notice yet! I'm in North Carolina and after 4 card making events and 2 holiday events I've learned that I'm pretty much at the end of the shipping list most of the time!
Generally, I don't care because I've been #teamnopeek in the past. But this time I'm switching sides! With all the classes that are involved this time, and the 10-12 hours of homework that is suggested, I'm going to need to get a head-start on things. Just priming my stamps and separating the dies takes me hours! When I get new stamps, I generally prime them by rubbing them on my arm. There were so many stamps last time that I actually ended up with "stamp burn" on my arm. I can actually still see the scar! Lesson learned!!
I am just giddy at the 12 lb weight of this box! I can't even imagine how much good stuff that will be. As for classes, I'm very happy with the sneak peeks so far. The only one I probably won't do is Hero Arts. But that's no surprise - I've learned that Hero Arts just isn't my style.
Now I'm working on wrapping up a couple of projects and then cleaning my room, so that I'll be ready to dive in when my box arrives.

I didn't see that, did SCT say that in their email or on the FB group? Your poor arm - I don't usually prime my stamps but I really should. I did prime some of the larger stamps for the last event, but I just wiped them with a microfibre cloth a few times to do that. I'm in Eastern Ontario and have not received a shipping notice. Other than the Toronto area I'll be the last to be shipped, though. For the first event I was team No Peak but now I peak. For my first two events I was missing stuff - for the second event I was missing all of Saturday's stamps and dies, so that's a pretty big miss! So now I like to look through everything and make sure it's there. Plus, the homework - I like to do it in bits and pieces instead of in one long session. I don't remember spending 10 hours on it, though. Maybe I did, but I just split it up so much that I didn't notice how long it took.

Hi marg, In the email from SCT that was dated February 21 there was a section towards the end that was titled Pre-class Work. In there the 10 to 12 hours of prep work was mentioned.
I know I spent a good bit of time on prep work last time and that was when they said it would take a couple of hours. If they’re saying 10-12 hours I can’t imagine how long it will really take me. Good thing I love the prep work! Oh, and also good that I’m retired now! 😊

I'm really glad I'm Team Peak, now, because I definitely will need a bunch of shorter sessions to get that homework done. I have learned that doing the homework, and sometimes a bit more than that, is key to enjoying the live classes. I usually scan to see if there is any heat embossing and get that done, too.

I'm right there with you. I don't use the directions in the book to complete cards ahead of time, (that spoils the fun for me personally) but I always do the homework, and as much heat embossing as I possibly can! I am so messy with that and it usually takes me a time or two to get a good result. Although, I will say that I'm getting much better at it with all the times I've done it for these events.

I’m normally on team no peek. But, with this many classes I’m opting to peek and get a head start on homework. I’m also out of town March 16-24, so I’ll be playing along with the replays when I get back.

Sneak peek #8 - not sure how I feel about this one. Does that look like flocking on the letters?

I just spent two hours clearing off my desk and putting stuff "away" LOL (actually, just shuffling things around my room!). At least my table is clear and clean (where does all that dust come from??). Now if I could just get a shipping notice I'd be happy...

That’s my least favorite sneak. It just looks messy. And I’m not a fan of flocking (assuming that’s what it is).

Ooof that LDRS sneak is a hot mess! Not a fan of the color combo at all. That being said, it looks like we can put our own spin on the product so it might not be a lost cause.

Finally got a shipping notification here too! Just the label creation, no actual delivery date yet. I'm going tomorrow (after work) to the the new Hobby Lobby that just opened over the weekend, to see if I can find a few things I need (white acrylic paint for splatters and the T-square ruler). Curious to see if they have a good paper-crafting section or what. It's right across the street from Jo-Anns and Michaels is about a mile away. Maybe I need to stop at all three...

LDRS...wow that looks very messy. The idea might be cute. It reminds me of Heidi Swap's stamping style. Looks like her inks are not the best for stamping.

Add me to the list of shipping notifications received! And also add me to the list of "not so sure about that whole LDRS thing". I agree that it looks messy and has an overabundance of pink (and I like pink!). But I can see it has potential - different colors, neater stamping, replace the flocking . . . it could be something nice.
I like the birthday theme, that's the bulk of the cards that I make, and I'm hoping the sentiments are going to be such that we can use them in different combinations. This is my 5th card making event (plus 2 holiday ones) and the one big thing I've learned through all of it is to use my supplies in lots of different ways, not just the same as the example. This looks like it has the potential to have some fun things to play around with.

That's what I was trying to figure out - it DOES look like HS style of stamping. That I would be interested in, if the stamps were good for that.

I need to step up the adulting over the next couple days! I’ve already been neglecting it in favor of crafting over the weekends, and now my box arrives on Thursday.

HOLY CRAP! My box just got delivered. The ENTIRE box is packed with supplies. The spiral bound book is twice as thick as previous books. I have a meeting that starts in 15 minutes so I can't dig thru it but I did get the book out. So the C&C gift...what is it? I honestly have no idea what it is used for.
