I've started just tossing unwanted embellishments immediately. For the most part, it's those teeny tiny ephemera pieces. Or, some element I know I will never, ever use from the ephemera package.
A little later, when I've used maybe half of a sticker sheet, I cut out the elements I think I will use, then toss the rest of the sheet.
Do you do this or is it blasphemy to you?

I do the same. Since I pocket scrap, I also take any paper I've used and cut into 4x6 or 3x4 squares and stick them with my pocket cards. Anything left gets recycled. When I scrapbook, I keep two cans beside me. One for garbage and one for recycling.

I do the same. But I have a box/envelope of stuff for a teacher at a local school who does scrapbook projects.

I go to a scrapbook retreat every February. Anything I don't want goes into a box and I take it to the scrapbook retreat. The other people on the retreat don't shop near as much as I do so they like to go through my discarded stuff. I love how things I don't want become really fun things for them.

I give some stuff I don't like to my 7 year old and other stuff I'll toss. I used to save all the stuff I wouldn't use in a box and send it to my friend who did cards and mini scrapbooks with her class but she doesn't do that anymore.

Anything I know I won't ever use immediately goes in a box for my grandkids to use.

I should do that more often. I don't do it enough. Mostly go thru it when I get around to purging or the package starts to get smaller.

I generally toss them into my destash bin. Then I will offer them to a friend or take them to a retreat to give away. I've also bundled them together and given them away on our local buy nothing Facebook group.
I've also tossed a few random ones now and then that I don't think anyone would really want.

I have a designated donation box in my craft room for unwanted paper scraps, embellishments, stamps, etc. Once full, I donate its contents to a local charity (recently, an after school art program for at-risk students).

I happily get rid of pieces I know I'll never use, my space is just too small to store things I don't love (or even like). I really dislike all the FJ girls but I have a friend who loved them so I would save them up and periodically mail her an envelope of girls.

Those itty bitty hearts and little tiny stuff in an embellishment pack? They are all over my house because they fall out when I open the package. Pure trash IMO.
I rarely toss much but have gotten better abour trashing stuff at all. I trash most paper scraps smaller than 6x6.

These days I have no problem tossing anything that I realistically won't use. After all these years I know myself and my style pretty well.

I do the same thing with unwanted embellishments and paper scraps. I’m trying to reduce my stash to just things I love and will use.

I should do that more often. I don't do it enough. Mostly go thru it when I get around to purging or the package starts to get smaller. I am between FurryP and ss on this one. I have the hardest time discarding even the tiniest piece of patterned paper or card stock, let alone diecuts of stickers. But from time to time I clear out the extra diecuts, toss a sticker sheet with a few [for me] unusable stickers on it. And the supplies I offer up for my dgs's crafting are ones I don't feel the urge to use myself.

If there is something I don't need or will never use, I see if it is something dd could use. If not, it gets tossed into recycling. And I don't feel bad about it because otherwise it would take up space.

I was using a paper collection this weekend and realized that there are a lot of die cuts that really aren't my style. So much so, that I am kicking myself for buying the particular pack of embellishments. I'm going to go through all the embellishment packs and get together what I won't use to add to my garage sale pile.

I have never tossed embellishments or hardly anything else, but I should. I just tell myself I never know what I might use -- and I don't know -- although I do know what I like and don't like so I could start by getting rid of supplies I don't like, for example embellishments that were part of a kit or class I took.

I need to be better about purging embellishments I know I won't use. I tend to hang on to them "just in case" but realistically I know I'm not going to use them. I love the idea of taking them to the retreat I go to twice a year. I do have a small bag of punches I am taking this time so maybe next time I will have embellishments I can take.

I have started doing this, too. Yesterday it was a big acetate piece with a man and a little girl walking a dog. I will never need that.

I used to save things for my grandchildren to play with, bu they are too old now.
I also used to save all the random animal embellishments for my niece, but honestly, she's a hoarder and driving my sister crazy, so I stopped.

Nah ... first I let them pile up for 10-15 years, setting them aside for my grandkids to use, and then when I realize they don't want them, I spend approximately 5-7 days sorting through them and then I toss 90% of them out.

We have a second hand craft store in town and I just toss the stuff I won't use into a small box and take it with me when I stop by the store.

I keep a bag and place all unwanted embellishments in there. I go to a crop with garage sale tables and will put $1-$2 on the bag. Most often is sells. I actually do this with all unwanted items. I just keep a box/bin and price as I go.

I toss them if they are a color, style, or shape I know I will never use (these are usually embellishments or die cuts that come as part of a scrapbooking kit). I don't know anybody that scraps in close proximity to me, otherwise I might save them to pass on, but I have no regrets.

I keep a bin of things I won’t use. Once full, I put smaller things ziplock bags and papers in a larger bag and take to a local thrift store that benefits an inclusive preschool. They say my stuff always sells. I happy to be rid of it and glad they can make a few dollars.
