Furthest you've travelled to a scrapbook or craft store?

I sought out paper crafting stores when I was in Italy and France. One of the ones I went to in Italy wasn't necessarily a scrapbook store, it had this type of paper: Italian paper and the one in Paris was a legit scrapbook/paper crafting store. I don't remember the name of the one in Paris as it's been almost 10 years since I've been there but it was really cool.
When we were in Maui there used to be a scrapbook store in Kahalui but I think it's moved since I've been there.

My husband’s hometown in MN used to have an awesome scrapbook store downtown. I always had to stop in anytime we were in the area.

When we were on our way to Mayo from NC, we stopped by @scrapbookgeneration - it was a few hours out of our way. We also went to Laura Ingalls Wilder's house while we were there.

No way to give actual miles, but in the early 2000's,
whenever we traveled, I'd seek out scrapbooking stores.

Specifically to go to the store I would say 60 kilometres.

As a result of another trip? Across the country to Toronto. I'm on the west coast of Canada. We were there anyway; a friend was going to go see U2 and invited me. I said yes, provided it was an actual vacation (love her to bits, but she would totally fly out to Toronto, go to a concert, and come home. She has tonnes of points and would just get a cheap place to stay or stay overnight with a friend).

150-ish miles - years ago (2002/3 I think) my bestie and I went to Orlando and visited the various scrapbook stores there - and there were quite a few at that time. We had a blast and I did scrapbook the trip back then also.

Beyond that? everytime we go on vacation, we google scrapbook stores...there haven't been too many LSS's - mostly chains (until fairly recently we didn't have any local to us chains - we now have a HL nearby and Joanns and M's and HL about an hour away) and we would stop.

When I lived in Virginia, I drove 3 hours at least once as a lark, just to go to a stamp/scrapbook store. I drove an hour and a half to meet up with some other scrappers for a shopping expedition.

Now I live in Texas, but have no LSS that is within a feasible driving distance. It’s 75 minutes through horrid traffic.

However, my DD lives in Salt Lake City, so when we have gone to visit her, There is a lovely LSS there called Mom and Me Scrapbooking, or something like that. I’ve shopped there more than the one 75 minutes from me. It’s a 22 hour drive to get there from here, and 1,271 miles. Would I travel that far just for that LSS if I didn’t have family there? Nope. I love the store, but the drive is a bit much.

Intentionally, probably less than 50 miles. I am lucky enough to have a LSS only about 5 miles away, with a very good range for an Australian store.

Unintentionally, 9634 miles (thanks Google!) when I holidayed in New York 10 years ago. It was only a Michaels store, but I still enjoyed it, and had to make a page about it for that holiday album.

I traveled 5474 miles from SLC to Tokyo to visit our DD. She couldn't wait to take me to all the stationery and pretty paper stores. That was one of the highlights of our 10 days there.

I went to Maine from Virginia and had to check out a scrapbook store in Gray Maine.

Years ago my mom and I flew to Las Vegas from Philadelphia and I went to at least 5 scrapbook stores while we were there.

From Northern VA where I live to:

Rome, Italy - 4,486 miles - don't remember the name of the store but it had paper similar to the Italian paper that jediannie linked
Disney World - 857 miles (2004) - back when WDW had a SB store (might have been in Disney Springs) - it was no longer there when we went back in 2016
Sevierville, TN - 480 miles - Scrapbooking Superstore (and clearance center next door)

The above were all on vacations, so finding a SB store was incidental to the trip. Intentionally, I've only gone about 34 miles to one near my MIL's house. She and I used to meet there sometimes so we could both look at the stamps. That store has since moved to a larger location, slightly further away and I think I've only been once since they moved.

I try to go to a yarn store on every trip I take and get enough of something either locally spun or custom dyed to make a vacation shawl. I'm from Michigan and the furthest I've gone is Winter Park, FL.

640 miles driving from So Cal to Provo Utah during the early 2000's when there was one on EVERY corner.  It was heaven.  CKU Provo was the ultimate scrapbook adventure.

ETA: I was in North Carolina for business and went to the Scrap Shack.  They had the best NASCAR papers ever!  My dad was with me and was laughing at all the paper I bought!
