not used up but I did use some of my thin, green, glittery washi tape. It came in a pack of washi tape and is a bit green and glittery for my tastes. And as a side note, I'm glad I only bought a handful of washi tape because it's really NOT my go-to embellishment and once I use all of it up, I won't be buying more. It almost never ends up on a page...mostly I've used it to seal envelopes or hold dies in place.

As to the original question, adhesive is the only thing I can think of. I haven't figured out a way to sit down and make x number of layouts with a collection kit and then turn the scraps into cards and then be done with it. Instead I make a layout and then weeks later another layout and then next year one more and so on...and then it never seems to be finished. This is exactly me. I can count on one hand the number of collections that I have actually "used up." I am trying to get better and just deciding when I am over it and can sell the rest and move on to something different. I tend to have lots of different collections or kits going on at the same time. Me three! I rarely use a full sheet of patterned paper when I scrap, more strips and blocks. I have a small box full of paper I’m no longer in love with and a bag full of embellishments that I’m going to find a teacher to donate it to. But I think when I am tired of using a collection and don’t see myself using it anymore (including for cards) I am going to put everything together in one of those thin sealable bags. When I have a decent amount of them I’ll try and find a scrapper to donate it to. No guilt. Remove the mental weight. No reason to keep something I don’t love or feel will be useful.

I finished up my Poinsettia Garden paper pad, made 33 Christmas cards I also almost all of the coordinating plaid/stripe papers I had, maybe 1/3 or 1/2 a pack I shared with another Pea. These last few little bits went into the bin today. I was excited to use some of the white/silver star paper too - something that's been hanging around in my room for far too long. That's an impressively small pile of scraps joblackford ! Thank you! It takes a lot of work, tbh, sometimes it makes me crazy. But so does having scraps hanging around forever. I've learned which card layouts will make it easier to use it all up

Didn’t use or use up but I just looked at some of my Disney items and realised I don’t like them. I will never like them. I bought them as they were all that was on offer at the time but since then I’ve found collections I like WAY MORE that I am excited to use. And so I got all the items together and listed them for sale as a bulk lot today and got them out of my pile that I’m trying to use. Don’t worry peas I still have bins full of Disney items to use and I do like those ones 🤗
Edited:AND THE LOT HAS SOLD.
Did I lose money? Yes. Is that the point? Nope. I had more guilt trying to use items I hated over and over again and constantly rejecting them and I’d just end up putting them back into my overflowing stash, rinse and repeat for all eternity 🤣

I finished off a pack of enamel dots last night - yay!
I need to do a good purge of my Christmas papers and embellishments. I'm really struggling to use what I have as none of it really coordinates. Perhaps after I finish these last couple of pages for Christmas 2009, I can do that...make some cards and rehome the rest and start fresh for 2023.
I did try making some enamel dots with my nuvo drops and pops of colour - hopefully that'll get me using them more.

I have one of those huge packets of Doodlebug beach themed die cuts. Those packs are so expensive but there are so many die cuts in them.
So I just made two companion pages that use 13 of those die cuts in total. I'm very pleased with the layouts. I was very happy to get so many of the die cuts out of the package and on pages.

I was just shopping for bras (ugh) and read a one star review that talked about how much the shopper hated this particular expensive one, that it was uncomfortable in various ways and had features that if she’d known about she would’ve avoided. And then she said the crazy thing we humans say: “but I bought it so I’m going to wear it” ! I know I’ve done the same thing many times. Why do we torture ourselves when the money is already spent either way?

Well, bras are very hard to donate. I am very thankful that I've found a charity here that takes them.

I used half a page of a BG die cut paper on my last layout. I still have a stash of these, and I typically cut them apart into quite small pieces, so it felt liberating to use such a big piece on one page.

used up 4 page kits that I acquired in a random destash lot - they were 12x12 layouts from 2008 Embellish It and I cut them down and reimagined them as 8.5x11 and got them finished up and in albums

I just used my last full 12x12 sheet from Cocoa Vanilla's Legendary collection. The remaining stickers and embellishments will be broken up and put away with the rest of my stash now.
While it is always a good thing to use up my supplies, I am sad I don't have anymore of that wonderful collection. I should have purchased so much more, haha.

good job using it up -now you have space for another wonderful collection sarahsprettypapersUsed two sheets of pre-printed CTMH layout paper (with the mats preprinted on the background) - it was a little trickier to cut down from 12x12 but I made it work and they are now in my album. I still have a couple more of the sheets from this collection so I'll have to find photos to use them on as well.

Oh my goodness peas I am super proud of myself as I used two die cuts I’ve had for years (in the pile of wtf did I buy this?), three stickers in a colour I hate but that matched a picture and layout perfectly, and three old jolees stickers that are super specific and were weirdly the same theme as a random layout I did for my stories of play ae tn. YAY!!!

I'm all out of Doodlebug Christmas papers again! I made 73 cards I used up two 6x6 pads, one 12x12 sheet of paper, and all my random Dbug Xmas scraps, plus almost all of the Christmas ephemera I had left (maybe half a pack?) and almost all of the stickers. I'm hoarding a tiny handful of cute stickers and a few basic shape die cuts I can use with future collections and I'll RAK the rest of my leftovers. AND I used 4 Doodlepops before the glossy accents stuff on them completely turned yellow! Seeing how they had started to turn was a big wakeup call to use the last few (non-Xmas ones) I have asap.

I pulled out my QK Scotland cookie cutter dies...I've had them for too long and not used them but I used the bagpipes die today for a scrapbook page.

Thanks to the foolish mortal swap, I finally used up 2 spools of twine. I bought them years ago at Target in the $1 spot.

I had to replace a refill cartridge in my dot roller adhesive. Not my fave thing to use up.
Yesterday I took a stack of crappy SC sticker sheets I hated and tossed them in the trash. I had harbored good intentions to use them somehow, but no. Not going to feel guilty or obligated to use an embellishment I don’t like when there’s so much good scrappy stuff that brings delight.
I reminded myself they were in kits I liked in spite of those pieces, not because of those pieces.

I finally used some paper from Felicity Jane. I made my first and only purchase when they were closing down shop, and everything just sat in my craft room since then. It was fun, and the papers are a nice quality. I still have some of the Noel collection leftover, but it was nice to actually use it after 1+ year or so.

Yesterday I tried using a stamp that I like but find difficult to use. I did a colored stamping technique that I thought might work and it was a total fail. I tried again and ruined that one too. And it wasn't fun. So I put the stamp in my use it or lose it bin. I have one thought in the back of my mind for how to use it, but I don't think it's worth even bothering with. A gathered a few other stamps that I simply don't enjoy using and put them in the bin too. I think I need to give my stash a tough love declutter! I have too many supplies and too little energy to go around.

I used up another pack of photo squareas...boring, I know
I also punched all the die cuts out of a 12x12 diecut sheet - tossed the bitty ones I knew I would never use and put the rest on my desk to use or lose. Already put one on a layout so...progress

I bought a ton of SS The Little Things. I got into it right away and made two layouts with it. I love them both. I've had a package of Prima crystal enamel dots in my stash for so long and I'm so close to finishing it off. There's one lone dot left. It needs to go somewhere. I can't remember the last time I finished up a package of anything.
