I used up the leftovers of the leftovers of my fall paper stash to make some quick cards. (I posted the other 25 cards I finished yesterday to use up this old paper that I've grown to hate in the March Sheetload thread, and it's also on my Flickr) I got the idea to do the 3 slightly diagonal strips from a recent Jennifer McGuire video. I printed the sentiments for the gnome cards on my printer so I could adapt the wording of a SSS sentiment to better suit donation cards. SO HAPPY to use up some old stash so I can buy new supplies that fit my style better. April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Thanks kitbop and grammadee . I'm still playing around with the leftover cardstock we stenciled. I can't bear to throw it away, it's so pretty.

MDscrapaholic , your cards from C&C are amazing. Those flower dies are so pretty. I love the gold circle you have used to highlight them, and the use of the vellum is a great touch. I love the daintiness of the Happy Birthday font. Lovely cards! Aheartfeltcard , your card is beautiful. I am always drawn to purples and these are so well done. Are your flowers stamped and colored or stenciled? Simply beautiful! kitbop , grammadee , joyfulnana and joblackford , I caught your lovely works in the gallery. Great start to the 2nd quarter. These cards are going to my youngest grands and great-grands for Easter. Easter Bunny Baskets

D574D681-D712-449F-B16B-0845B1A5FF90 by Jo Knapp, on Flickr I used paper scraps for almost the entire layout. The only piece that wasn’t a scrap is the band of craft paper with the arrows. Everything was older stash also. The heart with script is an AE 3x4 card that I cut up. The only new thing is the photo. It was taken on Saturday!

Y'all are really rocking the layouts! I need to finish these cards so I can get back to scrapping! Three of the Simon Hurley cards from C&CD. I thought it was so funny (and clever!) to have a cactus card that says "hugs" LOL

MDscrapaholic, you are doing a marvelous job on finishing your C&C cards. I am still muddling along. I am never happy with my inking, but yours looks beautiful. Speaking of inking/colouring, your flowers are gorgeous, Aheartfeltcard! What did you use for those deep purples? Awesome pages, @wordyshotogbabe! Love what you did with that heart overlay: really cool to leave most of the spaces open except for the mats for your photo & title. Adorable baby photos and I love how you scrapped them. I could stare at pic's of cute baby expressive faces all day. That rainbow corner frame is an idea I can see myself stealing... There is love in the Gallery for you, nylene, kitbop, joyfulnana, joblackford and cannmom.

wordyphotogbabe, what great pages. I love that die cut background and the way you filled some of the hearts. That’s not easy. Sweet sentiment and photo! ~ What an adorable little girl. She has the sweetest smile. I love the rainbow and the pastel colors. So many cute photos. ~ Squish is a perfect title. She is sweet enough to just squish. I love your banners and that tiny fabric heart. Adorable. cannmom, I love that plaid you used on your layout and all the little tags. You have love in the gallery. MDscrapaholic, your cards are wonderful. The cacti silhouetted against the mountain is such a fun look. Are the little circles on the background of the 2nd card embossed? stenciled? I love the texture you can see. Your Hello Friend is really pretty and dainty. It will be loved. Nice work! grammadee, that card is gorgeous. I love all the layers. I will go take a close look in the gallery. You have made some wonderful cards since C&C.

Linda, your ancestor page is a genealogist's dream. I love all the documentation. Right now I am indexing land grants throughout the US in the 1800's. It is so interesting to see how long it took some people to finally pay off the land for the patent. It makes me sad to see so many never did and their grant was canceled. Wouldn't you love to get 20 acres for $20? Thanks for sharing! ~Your architecture page is gorgeous! Were these photos taken on your trip to see your kids?

I love the texture you can see. Your Hello Friend is really pretty and dainty. It will be loved. Nice work! Thanks Nylene, that's an old Club Scrap stamp from long ago (2005)! I think I've only used it one other time. It's rubber and mounted on a wood block. I tried the Altenew embossing folder and the stencils tonight - it is tricky to line them up. Two of the stencils have double the cuts on them, so you have to do half of the stenciling, and then move it to do the other half. Not a simple set to do, but the results are gorgeous. The blue one I stamped the flower and then used the stencil. The purple/pink one is with the embossing folder/stencils. I want to put the sentiments on them, but I hate to cover up the beautiful flowers! I think I need to find something smaller.

Linda, your genealogy page is wonderful and will be a source of information for everyone. I like the brick red on the Architechture LO: the perfect way to call attention to these photos. Great job and tons of attention to detail on those Altenew flowers, MDscrapaholic! I love your colour choices, too. As I stated up thread that stencil set took way more skill and patience than I have in me. If you pop the greetings up and put them in top left or bottom right corners, they shouldn't cover up too much of your gorgeous focal. There is love in the Gallery for your sweet doggie page, AussieMeg. Thinking there *might* be a lift of this one in my future...

Thank you nylene - yes - those photos were taken on my trip. Thank you for your indexing work - so helpful to many. MDscrapaholic - those are gorgeous - maybe an interior sentiment if you don't want to cover the flowers? AussieMeg - he is indeed a handsome boy! I love the layering and clusters under the photo block Thank you grammadee

I actually messed up 🙁 as I stamped with dye ink and then ink blended with what was supposed to be bright pink and light purple. I went with it figuring I’d spent the time might as well share. Thank you- glad that you like it.
