Linda, I love your journaling about the squirrel. Your little squirrel die cut and the pine cone paper are perfect. ~Your botanical garden pages are all so pretty. The little gnome girl is adorable. Beautiful flowers and scenery.~ I love Scott’s Hawaiian shirt. I tried to get Steve to buy one while we were in Hawaii. They look so cool and comfy. ~ Love your birthday pages. That purse looks like the perfect size and it’s so pretty. Your DD has good taste.~ I always enjoy your kitty pages. Those are the most well-loved kitties in the world. I’m glad you photograph them. AussieMeg, kitbop, joblackford, @ scrappyrabbit, you have love in the gallery.

That purse looks like the perfect size and it’s so pretty. Your DD has good taste it IS the perfect size. I had had one the same design in a different print nearly 10 years ago that my mum had bought me...I didn't care for the colours (very bright) but loved the bag and used it until it fell apart. They're more expensive than I spend for bags (I'm cheap) but the hedgehog print is adorable and very me. So the big kids teamed up - one bought me the bag and the other a matching wallet - and surprised me with them. Thanks for the compliments on the pages.

Working my way through some Sketchy Saturdays. This one isn't my favorite, I feel like it falls a little flat for some reason. Maybe because it is literally all paper and only from one paper pad.. Sketchy Saturday March 25 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr

I made a random card to use up the big scraps of paper from a Sheetload of cards. I had 2 strips left of each paper so I trimmed them down for this, and used the last piece to add little banner decorations inside the 12 Sheetload cards I had already made. April share - scrap card by jo.blackford, on Flickr ETA: I think I only posted the original dozen in the random Sheetload thread so there they are: April share- random Sheetload by jo.blackford, on Flickr

14 cards from 2 sheets of open stock 12x12 paper. These are very very simple - the charity requires red white a blue postcards without sentiments for a 9/11 foster kids event. (Also posted on the random Sheetloads thread.) I squeezed 2 extra cards out of the scraps from the Sheetload sketch. April share - 14 RWB by jo.blackford, on Flickr

This page is for Shimelle's Use Your Stash - Mixed Media Background class. I have just realised that the title doesn't match the journaling.... in the journaling, I wrote that the kids had ice cream after playing golf, but the title says But First, Ice Cream. I should have made the title say And Now, Ice Cream. But oh well, I can't be bothered changing it now.

You can justify it to yourself that the kids would've said "but first, ice cream" if they had known. It's a really bright and cheerful page and I don't think that it needs fixing. It's making me hungry

Nine more cards for the Altenew card drive, quick and easy one layer Mother's Day cards. The ink swipe is part of the C&9th stamp set It's one of my favorites. I think if I do more donation cards like this I'll use the sentiment "on Mother's (or Father's) Day" on the front again. It feels more appropriate for someone who isn't my parent and may or may not have living children. April Mother’s Day donation by jo.blackford, on Flickr

joblackford I love your cards! The colors are pretty and the geometric background is very eye-catching. craftymom101 wow the background paper matches your son's shirt! Very cute Easter page that isn't hit-you-over-the-head Easter-y! Here is a layout from last night. I used a SG sketch as inspiration. Zombie party by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr

scrappyrabbit, joblackford, joyfulnana, AussieMeg, cannmom, and grammadee, I have visited and left love in your galleries. Beautiful projects! Linda, I love your patriotic page showing your husband’s flags. I love the tilted flag and the little banner in the upper right. Very pretty. craftymom101, what delightful photos. I love the all the little embellishment bits and bobs tucked around them. I love your journaling that tells the story. Beautiful layout. I have finally finished a layout. This was fun using the GS emblem as a stencil and then using a dotted stencil on top. Cookies

nylene your Girl Scout stenciling is so clever. I love the additional layer of dots too. The page makes me want to eat some thin mints! Thank you for all your lovely comments on my cards. You asked about how difficult the Create in Quads hexagon stencils are to use so I thought I’d answer here in case others who have used them want to chime in. I find them pretty easy. They look really impressive but the stencils are quite rigid and stable so even though I’m a bit clumsy/heavy handed with stencils I don’t get much shifting or ink creeping under the edges. You line up the little registration squares to get each layer in the right place but I also find it easier to leave the paper full size and attach it with some tape, lined up with the edges of the stencil, as an extra layer of registration. I have some repetitive use injuries so the stenciling can be a bit hard on my hands and arms after a while, but I also need to learn to lighten up! Having a nice juicy ink pad makes it easier too. They’re pretty cool stencils but a bit pricey.

Thanks cannmom and joblackford for your kind words. joblackford, thanks for the info about those stencils. They made such amazing cards. I haven't done much stenciling, but I really love the look you got with those. I may have to dabble into that! Your colors are so perfect together. That's always hard for me. This is a super simple layout. It was a Christmas Card, but since this family's Christmas is warm, I used flowers instead of Christmasy icons. 2014 Year in Reviewgina, your pages are all so pretty. I will be back later to take a closer look.

This LO is for Shimelle's Use What You Buy - Non Repeating Print class. This was a fun page to make. I love the paper, but probably wouldn't have used it were it not for this class.
