Thank you nylenesome layouts from yesterday - my mojo has been missing and these didn't come together easily or quickly. All photos are October 2022 And then a card that took me the better part of three hours to make - cut file was from the Summer Craft Party at The Bearded Housewife... my card is significantly simpler by the time I got it manipulated/simplified and resized to work with my Expression and SCAL2 (cut file is made for Design Space)

Linda , your grid pages look so nice. I love the bright colors you have used for the celebration pages; the removal of the cast and the birthday dinner. The colors say “hooray”. Looks like the Star Wars set was a winner! ~ Love the Covid page. That mask paper is priceless for this page. I didn’t think to take a photo of the test strip when we both tested positive. ~ Beautiful cards. You are getting so good at keeping that Cricut chirping. I understand about the resizing, but it gets easier as you go along. Great sentiment font on your pretty purple card. grammadee , I love how you have jumped in and are trying out all the fun new products. That "butter" is wonderful. I left love in the gallery. This is for DH's mechanic friend. DH wanted me to make something that would make him smile. Mechanic Get Well by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

Hello and my apologies once again for getting so behind... I made a ton of very simple cards over the past couple of weeks and just couldn't convince myself to photograph them. But here's a start. I rescued some old stickers from my MIL's massive piles of mail from charities (you know the ones that send address labels and notepads - she's kept them ALL, ugh!) Some of the smilies were past their prime but I got the rest stuck down onto cards in a moderately pleasing way... and then found some more... Hope these will make some seniors smile. May share by jo.blackford, on Flickr The hearts on those and these cards were also from a charity. They were very useful! Luckily MIL also has a stash of heart stickers she bought so I can make more of these for the red white and blue postcard/foster kids charity: May share by jo.blackford, on Flickr And some more assorted RWB postcards for the foster kids. I'll make a bunch more of these designs until I get sick of them. The blue striped paper was part of stash of pp I rescued through my local Buy Nothing group. I'm slowly using up all the random things. I added a white star to the bottom left navy postbox right after I took this picture, of course. The background was an experiment with a stencil that got spritzed a bit too much. May share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I've also started repurposing old holiday card fronts again. I had a huge backlog during the pandemic (inherited a bunch from Buy Nothing) and didn't have the energy to upcycle them. Lots needed 5x7 bases too, but my fav envelope supplier just clearanced their grey bases so I snapped up 100. Unfortunately they're all a little unevenly scored (whoever thinks machine made = perfect isn't paying attention!) and I have to add a white panel inside all of them because the grey is too dark to write on so I'm working on a Christmas greeting that I can print out from my computer. I'll try and share a photo of the pile when I've made some more progress. Some are Pea cards being given a new lease on life

These are the holiday cards I finished re-making/upcycling this week. They're mostly store bought cards my friends and I received, cut down to fit onto a 5x7" card base. I added a computer printed sentiment inside so there would be a place to add a message and signature on the dark grey card. I normally wouldn't use colored card bases but they were marked down from $24 to $9 for 50 so it was worth the extra work. May share - upcycled/remade cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr

joblackford , your cards are amazing. You are so clever in using those smiley stickers. I love the inking/dimension of your hearts and banner cards. Great idea. I love that postal box die cut! That is so cute and so versatile. I am impressed with the way you have recycled those Christmas cards into beautiful cards. You are a card artist! I love the use of the leftover paper you used on the red, white and blue cards. craftymom101 , what a beautiful layout. I love that cut file and the way you filled each Polaroid frame. Cute fluffy clouds and that cluster at the top is fabulous. Lovely. grammadee , I loved seeing your pages online this morning and have left you some love in the gallery. That justjac is quite the actress in your photos. I have been trying out some new types of cards the past few months. This is a b-day card for DS and a welcome baby for his new granddaugter. Sorry my last few photos have been so blue-toned. Here are the last of the red white and blue no-sentiment postcards for foster kids. I had 90 labels so once I finished that many cards I called this project done for now and got it into the mail. Yay! Endless variations on the postbox and stars and banners. The red striped paper is a doodlebug Christmas b-side. Top left is my favorite and I plan to make more for seniors: June share RWB postcards by jo.blackford, on Flickr 9 stenciled cards and 1 more with banners and hearts. The hearts have shiny red iridescent kind of "pixels" so they look really neon in this photo. The TE mandala looks so nice but stenciling kills my hands (I need more ergonomic blending tools). The Brutus Monroe star stencil is a slimline size but I love it. I added 3 tiny die cut stars to finish those off. June share RWB postcards by jo.blackford, on Flickr Now onto something different! Once I slog through counting my points

This has been a busy place! Finally have a few minutes to look at everything a little more closely... On Page SEVEN: Linda, you have been on FIRE!!! Love that your last pages in the 2022 album are each so unique. Love the different colours and patterns and page designs. Great use of the banners, and I see you even tilted a few pics! And on page EIGHT: Linda, your pages may have taken a little extra push from you, but they are finished and they are fun and colourful to look at--even the Covid page! Speaking of colourful, that Summer Vibes card really pops! Such alot of extra work to get this one done. Hope you can use your adapted cutfile for many more cards. And the card with the different strips of muted violet is really pretty. The waves and sun on the craft party card are really fun! And your pages from the crop on Thursday again show your skill with using colour and small touches to create mood. The Dusty pages are fun, and I am always amazed about how you can move so smoothly from one them to another in one day! The Halloween pages are a hoot! The last pages have the tried and true recipe of a good magazine LO. craftymom101, your winery page is gorgeous! I love the muted papers that make the photos pop and how that banner follows the torn edge. How did you make those clouds? scrappyrabbit, nylene, there is love on Flickr. Heading over there later today to leave love for joblackford's fun cards.

Linda, I love your card with the cut out waves, sun, shoreline, palm and seashells. Was that all one cut file or have you grouped a bunch together? It makes a gorgeous card. Lots of work, but well worth it.~ Great job on your family pages. You have used some very busy papers as background with just the edges showing and it looks so nice. I tend to avoid busy patterns but am going to try your method to use some that have been sitting too long. I especially love the star background on the hard hat page. ~ Sweet Dusty page. The enamel dots and stars are the perfect accents. ~ I love that you take photos and scrap your family playing games. I need to remember to do that. Love the Q-bit page with the flower and button accents. ~Thanks for posting your layouts larger!! I find myself clicking on them to get a better look, so I love seeing them big enough to read the journaling. Without the journaling your “Sweet”page would be a pretty page, but with the journaling, it is so precious. How sweet that the kitties miss you when you are gone. Love, love, love that page. ~ Nice use of 4 kitty photos together. I love what you did with the triangle and heart.~ Great Halloween papers and what fun decorations. That big spider on the roof is more spider than I would like! ~ Love the photos of Halloween at your home without you. I love the decor at your door. I’m sure they were missing you. ~ ZZZ-just so adorable! ~ Great idea to scrap your “I Voted” sticker! ~ Had to giggle that Dusty was a bit stand-offish when you returned. Glad it wasn’t a long funk. ~ Beautiful design on your page of Scott’s eye surgery. The papers go together so nicely. Sorry he had to experience the surgery and glad he’s better. ~ Another beautifully designed page on American Hero. Love this. He is a hero! joblackford, I love all the cards you have made for donation lately. You are such a thoughtful card artist. You have love in your gallery. grammadee, that butterfly card is gorgeous. I love the dies you used. I think I need to invest in some butterfly dies. I just have a couple. You have love in the gallery. I caught your layout in the gallery and will go look closer at your other cards. Here are my first three for June.

My first effort at double points: 3 fathers day cards by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I started out thinking I would need a design for all the "boys" but then realized I could just grab bits and bobs that represent who they are, and make each one different. And a sympathy card I created Monday to send out Tuesday POINTS: four 5x7 cards (60) created & shared (8). P-6, S/I-9, N/S-4 circles. Total: 71. Doubled 142.
