I keep forgetting to come to this thread. It seems like so many things have interfered with my scrapping! Do you ever find that true? We have had family weddings, birthdays, Mother's Day as well as nice warmer weather that is calling me to go outside. Maybe next week I can knuckle down and make a dent in my stack of photos that need to be scrapped.
Have a happy weekend, Creative Critter teammates.

Thanks, nylene. I got some pages done last weekend, but nothing since Monday. And nothing now until at least Tuesday. Dd's family is here and we are busy with garden. Tomorrow dgs wants to make cards, and I need to make one for his cousin for her grad, so a bit of creative time, anyway. Hoping all the Critters are doing wonderfully!

nylene lots of weddings! They sound fun and a good chance to see family I’m just hanging around the house this weekend, getting some tasks done. We organized our garage a little bit and hung a shelf over the baby’s dresser. After we went out to dinner and the pasta was so good I’m still thinking about it! Lol tomorrow I want to get some sun by the pool but we’ll see, there’s still lots to do around here.

Happy Memorial Day weekend US critters! Anyone have fun plans? I’m currently stuck in traffic trying to drive to my parents house. Then we are flying to my in laws on the east coast for about 9 days. Whew should be interesting! Sadly no scrapping for me for a while.

I am spending the long weekend the way I love best -- just doing all the normal things, but in a more relaxed less frantic way. And maybe doing more of them.
So, a balance of crafting and adulting, with plenty of time for each for a change.

Good morning, Critters!!
Yesterday, on my way home from work, I was feeling so very burned out on cardmaking and crafting. I have so many unfinished projects, so many unstarted projects, so many cards already, and I'm running out of things to do with them!
My Concord and 9th summer camp was arriving and I wasn't sure I even wanted to deal with it. But I did! And it exceeded my expectations!
Yesterday afternoon and this morning, I pulled out some more older unfinished CS kits. I had been trying to find a way to "de-snark" some of the cards, re-engineer some that don't stand up on display, stuff like that. Many were from my very first CS kit a year ago -- my re-entry into crafting. What a journey it's been!
I was struck by the thought that I have too many cards in a very different and freeing way. I don't have to like every card I make. I think it was on some thread here, but maybe it was on FB, that I read about someone who just brings extra cards into the office with a sign telling folks to help themselves. I'm pondering trying that myself. Even if I don't, Bring Smiles to Seniors takes ANY card. So, the snarky cards are finished per kit instructions and some others I wasn't sure I cared for as well. Turned the stupid box-fold cards into simple landscape top folds. TWO MORE KITS COMPLETED!!
Off to shower and get ready for yoga. Hope everyone is having a fabulous and relaxing long weekend!

I hope everyone has a relaxing Memorial Day weekend! I hope to do some cardmaking and scrapbooking over this three day weekend, but we will see. I'm kinda in the mood to use red, white and blue on everything!

Hey, Critters! Happy June! I did not have a very productive May, other than the double points weekend. And I have family here this weekend, so don't see my way clear to scrap until at least Monday. And the weeds are growing fast in the veggie garden so I will need to get my hands dirty with, well, dirt rather than inks. Added up my May points and updated my total. That way I will just have this month to calculate at the end of this quarter. I have alot of photos I want to scrap and supplies to go with them, but I think first up will be my June cards: I need to put together and get into the mail one bd card and four Fathers Day cards. Then I will need to make a Fathers Day card for dh. The dgs who will be here this weekend loves card making, so maybe we can get some of those done while he is here. Hee hee! Crafting with a ten year old counts DOUBLE, just like crafting with anyone else so win/win. Hope you are having a wonderful season, doing lots of interesting things; taking lots of photos. And I hope you have some time to play with paper this month. If you are looking for inspiration, all of the current and past challenges can be found in The MASTER list. Well, the current ones will be there once I update the list this morning with the new Donna challenge, new Sheetload of Cards, new Sketchy Saturdays... Don't forget to reprint the Q-2 challenges list so you can start checking off challenges met...

I am SURE that you have a very good reason for that! I was a little surprised you signed up to lead under the circumstances, actually.
How are you feeling?

Thanks for the reminder scrappyrabbit. I had forgotten that it is double point weekend. I spent the day scrapping, so that will help my meager points this quarter. Is it Thurs to Mon like last month or just Fri to Sunday? How was your trip? I'm sure it was great being with family. I hope you are feeling well.

Shakti nylene we just arrived back in CA after over a week on the east coast visiting my husbands family. We are exhausted but it was a nice trip. We saw a lot of his family, many of whom we haven’t seen since pre-covid times. And then tomorrow my mom is hosting a baby shower at her house. Lots of celebrating! What is everyone else up to? Summer is my favorite time of year so usually I’m pretty busy this time of year.

Good to see you back, scrappyrabbit . Have a wonderful time at your baby shower. nylene , the double points apply to anything you earned/earn Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday this weekend. I am home this morning and might get a LO started. I need to look for tags to use with scrappyrabbit 's last Sketchy Saturday: I have the photos for it. Then later I am off to the rodeo! Our ddil is in this area with her horses, and will be barrel racing at an event near here this afternoon.

I have not been stellar at either tracking time or completing things this month, so this could be challenging.

I accomplished very little, scrapbook-wise, but will have total points ready on Sunday. Thanks for being our hostess, scrappyrabbit. Hope you are feeling well.

I only did 16 LOs for this whole quarter, which is a record low for me! I did more than double that in one month alone in Sketchtember last year.
My total points = 1530

My points for this quarter is 2242. I did a few non scrapbook crafts, 14 cards, 2 quick one page mini albums, 4 double page layouts, 2 sublimated tumblers (sumblimation is not my thing at all) , 8 keychains made with cricut leather and HGTV vinyl (so fun), and took a course on making my own svgs (so much easier than I ever thought-I only did some very basic stuff before), and two show boxes, and a crafty thing using a dollar store pan to make a welcome sign with my MIL because she wanted to do a craft during her visit). I also complied some unfinished layouts from about 10 classes from conventions over the years and changed the titles to some that were better suited to photos used on the pages. And I started an old style journal with random thoughts for each day, photos or news articles or anything that I felt like writing about for the day! Sounds like I was more busy than I really was but it was just a laid back 3 months
