Fyi, there is also a big concert planned for Sunday, here's some info how those outside the UK can watch
BBC Sunday 7 May A live stream and live page with coverage and analysis of The Coronation Big Lunch will continue on Sunday morning on bbc.co.uk/news.
Live TV coverage will start at 12.30 with Coronation: The UK celebrates, a 90-minute special on BBC One and BBC News reflecting gatherings and parties all around the country.
At 20:00, the Coronation Concert will be broadcast live from Windsor Castle on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds. It will be hosted by Hugh Bonneville and feature performances from British pop group Take That, international superstar Lionel Richie, pop icon Katy Perry and opera star Andrea Bocelli.
It will also feature, for the first time ever, a joint performance from The Royal Ballet, The Royal Opera House, the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Royal College of Music and The Royal College of Art.
For viewers outside the UK, the concert will be broadcast on the BBC News channel (check your local listings) and carried live on BBC World Service.

I'm here! Good to see a thread already started. I thought it might be on one or two TV channels here - but all of the main ones seem to be covering it. I'm going to try to find the one that's hooked into the BBC rather than the Aussie commentators.

All those people being seated so early...I hope none of them need the toilet in an hour's time I probably wouldn't have had anything to drink all day if I was going

Thank you wellway. Happy Coronation Day all! I hope it’s as wonderful as I expect and the weather is good for all the spectators lining the route.

Just an aside, UK peas, has your area been decorated, plans for parties?
In my village some people have put up bunting, flags and decorated mannequins. The mannequins have been interesting, Charles, Camilla, the Cambridge children but also Elvis, there are two!, recreated people waiting on the mall with a tent and chair and flasks of tea.
There is a big marquee on the rec, for a party later.

How nice to have live music in the Abbey already. Help pass the time for those already seated.

In the market town next to the village where I live they have decorated with lots of bunting etc. There’s a market this morning and they were keeping an eye on the weather before deciding whether to go ahead with a screening in the castle gardens. I’m not sure that’s happening though sadly. All the independent shops have lovely window displays with red white and blue, figures, crowns etc. Everyone seems to have really got into the swing of it in the last couple of days 😊

Our commentators just pointed out that this is the first time Australians will see a coronation live...something I hadn't thought of before

I really want to know more about the bearded, moustachioed protection officer who has been with the King for a number of engagements, possibly before he became King. Google doesn’t have much information about him.

4:25 am where I live. The major channels don’t begin coverage until 5, but PBS is covering now. I’m watching a choir singing in Westminster abbey. It strikes me that this is one of the few events that people around the world will be watching live.

I wonder what time this morning the participants had to be up, dressed etc to be already in situ?
Just looked up at tv to see the lovely singer, that is a big collar. It reminds me of a daffodil.

Ex prime ministers entering the Abbey, Boris still looking like he gets dressed in the dark. Really stands out against the others who are immaculately dressed.

So lucky to be in the UK for the corronation. We are in Cornwall. Bunting everywhere, signs on local stores that they wiLl be closed between 11 and 1 so staff can watch, huge street party planned - literally can’t wait for that. We are going to a coronation tea this afternoon. Loving all the pomp and ceremony.
Happy to hear that both Charles and Camilla will be crowned.

Harry walking in behind Andrew. Eugenie made it too, I thought she might be too pregnant. Zara looks good...looking forward to seeing Catherine!
That lady near the front in lime green certainly stands out...anyone know she is? Poor Jack has got Harry chewing his ear off. He must have drawn the short straw.
