Well done, Penny. Bet she's glad to hand it over Not over yet for her role 😊 True but that second sword is smaller and lighter. She really has a front row view.

I was just thinking I remember when William was born...where does the time go? I wonder what William is thinking while he does this?

They said he will never wear this particular crown again. Will he wear a different crown another day? Opening of parliament maybe?

This is the only time King Charles will wear that particular crown i’ve loved reading the history about the regalia and all the details in the coronation. I also really like that it has been so inclusive of other faith leaders given that it’s obviously a religious ceremony.

Camilla is looking very regal with the crown although I’m guessing it’s not quite sitting where she wants it as she appears to keep playing with her hairline. The choice of music for her is lovely.

I think they said this music was by Andrew Lloyd Webber, poor man just recently lost his adult son to stomach cancer.

I hope Penny Mordaunt did a lot of arm exercises to keep carrying that sword in high heels. Who is Penny Mordaunt?

When she entered the abbey and they were singing the song with Camilla in it, I thought that was cool! I wondered if it was written for her?

I hope Penny Mordaunt did a lot of arm exercises to keep carrying that sword in high heels. Who is Penny Mordaunt? She is a member of Parliament for Portsmouth North, Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council. Wiki The lord president of the Council is the presiding officer of the Privy Council of the United Kingdom and the fourth of the Great Officers of State, ranking below the Lord High Treasurer but above the Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal. The Lord President usually attends and is responsible for chairing the meetings of the Privy Council, presenting business for the approval of the sovereign. In the modern era, the incumbent is by convention always a member of one of the Houses of Parliament, and the office is normally a Cabinet position.

There was a very handsome young man in a black uniform with two thick gold ropes. I wondered if he was one of her grandchildren too!

I think she has a lot of Queen Elizabeth about her. She's a lovely mix of William and Catherine.

Penny Mordaunt is an absolute superwoman! She’s only held the role for a little while before the Queen died.
