Regrettably, I think the Supreme Court opened to door to lots of LGBTQ discrimination. I wonder what kind of fictional world the conservatives justices live in, Gorsuch in particular who dismissed Sotomayor's concerns about discrimination in employment as "pure fiction." If it comes down to religious freedom or freedom of speech vs civil rights, I can easily predict which side they're going to land on. www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/07/11/supreme-discrimination-303-catholic-school/Firing of gay Catholic school teacher could test latest Supreme Court ruling
The Supreme Court has already ruled that discrimination laws don’t apply to employees of a religious institution who engage in ministerial work — even if they have other duties as well.
Liberals on the Supreme Court warned against the possibility of 303 Creative being applied to employment. “The potential implications of the Court’s logic are deeply troubling,” Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote, suggesting a law firm refuse female partners on the grounds of speech. Justice Neil M. Gorsuch, in his majority opinion, called those concerns “pure fiction.”

Kyle Griffin….
”FBI Director Wray shuts down GOP conspiracies: "The FBI is not in the business of moderating content or causing any social media company to suppress or censor."
"The idea that the FBI would somehow be involved in suppressing references to the lab leak theory is somewhat absurd when you consider the fact that the FBI was the only, the only agency in the entire intelligence community to reach the assessment that it was more likely than not that that was the explanation for the pandemic."

TFG truly needs to be stopped.. Tax evasion is punishable by death? Or maybe lying on a gun application? Trump in a post on his Truth Social website called his appointee a “COWARD.” "Weiss is a COWARD, a smaller version of Bill Barr, who never had the courage to do what everyone knows should have been done,” Trump wrote, suggesting that Hunter Biden committed far more serious crimes for which in the former president’s estimation he escaped justice.
“He gave out a traffic ticket instead of a death sentence,”Trump wrote. Trump described his own appointee as politically motivated. “Because of the two Democrat Senators in Delaware, they got to choose and/or approve him. Maybe the judge presiding will have the courage and intellect to break up this cesspool of crime,” Trump wrote. “The collusion and corruption is beyond description. TWO TIERS OF JUSTICE!” www.rawstory.com/donald-trump-2662264319/Oh, there’s 2 tiers of Justice all right. The one where if you steal classified documents you await trial in jail ( like Jack Teixeira ) And the one where you get a motorcade to court and a press conference and go about smearing people as you run for office to commit the crime again Your right there's definitely 2 tiers of Justice

TFG at his best. Stiffed Jodi Ernst and a veterans group! In a deep dive into Donald Trump's tenuous relationship with Iowa's Republican Party leadership, the New York Times is reporting that the former president left Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) hanging by not only not showing up for her annual "Roast and Ride" charity event over a month ago — but he also cost her money. As the Des Moines Register reported last month, "This year's event, attended by an estimated 900 people, raised money for the Freedom Foundation, a veterans assistance nonprofit based in Cedar Rapids." The Times reports that Trump had made it clear that he would not attend — which would have put him on equal footing with his rivals for the GOP nomination — but that his campaign would provide the Iowa senator with a videotaped address that could be played for the crowd. *** However, the former president failed to come through and Ernst's fundraiser for veterans was stuck with a needless expense.According to the Times, "His campaign had expressed interest in sending videotaped remarks, and Ms. Ernst’s operation then rented large screens for the purpose of showing them, but he never sent a video — leaving Ms. Ernst’s team without a recording, and the cost of the equipment to cover, according to five people briefed on the incident." Add to that, a simple request for an autographed motorcycle helmet to be used as a fundraising tool was also botched. "Ms. Ernst’s team had planned on using the chance to win a motorcycle helmet signed by all of the Republican candidates as a lure to sell tickets to the 'Roast and Ride.' They sent the helmet to Mr. Trump, who returned it later than expected and had added the numbers '45' and '47,' signaling he would be the 47th president, the role everyone else is also running for, according to two people with knowledge of the episode," the Times reported before dryly adding, "They never used the helmet." www.rawstory.com/trump-iowa/

Interesting, Kayleigh McEnany knows how to tell the truth!! Fox News contributor Kayleigh McEnany shot down speculation that Hunter Biden had left cocaine inside the White House. President Joe Biden's son, who has candidly discussed his past crack cocaine addition, was not at the White House when the drug was found Sunday, but he had been there Friday and then joined other family members there on the Fourth of July, but McEnany cited her own experience there to knock down the rumors, reported Newsweek. "There is no way. It is inconceivable to think cocaine can sit [at the White House] for a 72-hour period," McEnany said. "So I would rule him out at this point." McEnany worked in the White House as Donald Trump's press secretary, and the former president himself was among the Republican public figures to blame Hunter Biden for the cocaine found by Secret Service agents. "Does anybody really believe that the COCAINE found in the West Wing of the White House, very close to the Oval Office, is for the use of anyone other than Hunter & Joe Biden," Trump posted on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday. The cocaine was reportedly found in a public area where visitors enter the West Wing. "It couldn't have been there for days and days," McEnany said on Fox & Friends. "It had to have been there for — I would say — minutes before someone took notice." www.rawstory.com/cocaine-white-house/#cxrecs_sAfter watching and listening to KJP answer the question if they could rule it out, Kayleigh McEnany has changed her mind.

On Fox, she most certainly did change her statement. "As Whitehouse press secretary, I would have marched into the basement level secret service office and said give me the answer. I'm not walking to the podium without an answer. But Karine Jean-Pierre has had zero answers. I talked to people last week , previous staffers. The only ones that utilized the cubbies are guests of Whitehouse staffers. Then all of a sudden you go to the situation room, the only ones putting their phones there are people like me, walking into a secure facilty, walking in to hear a briefing... That lead me to believe this must be a Whitehouse staffer. Last week I previously ruled out Hunter Biden he wasn't at the Whitehouse for 48 hours. I've got to tell you this, when I watched Karine Jean-Pierre at the press briefing Friday and she was asked point blank is this Hunter, I can tell you if someone would have asked me about any Trump family member, who had no history of cocaine I would have gone to Donald Trump and said people are saying this is a family member. What do you say president trump? If he had said absolutely not, my answer at the podium would be I have zero reason to believe that this is anyone connected to the president or his family. She didn’t say that, (*or anything like that) and to me that was very telling." *me

What the press secretary said or didn't say? She's speculating based on the press secretary's statement. She's implying something but she didn't retract her statement or explicitly say maybe that's Hunter's. She was widely criticized by conservatives for denying the conspiracy theories and saying it could not have been Hunter's. This is her attempt to redeem herself. Do I believe anything she says? No, she's a practiced liar. In her imaginary scenario, if there had been cocaine in the White House, it's entirely possible that it was Don Jr's, so that hypothetical isn't even likely. Who knows what Trump might have said in private? Would Trump and McEneny have publicly lied about it and denied it? Absolutely. But that doesn't make Hunter Biden guilty.

I'm certain conservatives will keep talking about how the cocaine belongs to Hunter, all kinds of conspiracy theories and more about 2 tiered justice systems. More calls for the death penalty for Hunter. www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/07/13/cocaine-investigation-white-house-secret-service/Secret Service closes White House cocaine probe without suspect Tests for DNA or fingerprint evidence on small bag were inconclusive, insiders say
“Without physical evidence, the investigation will not be able to single out a person of interest from the hundreds of individuals who passed through the vestibule where the cocaine was discovered,” the Secret Service said in a public statement. “At this time, the Secret Service’s investigation is closed due to a lack of physical evidence.”

Mcconnell is now supporting Thomas claiming liberal justices have taken gifts too... On Thursday, McConnell was forced to reach back in time, more than three years ago, to March of 2020 when Leader Schumer "slammed Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh," as NBC News reported, at "an abortion-rights rally outside the Supreme Court." Schumer later said, "he regretted saying that two Supreme Court justices 'won't know what hit' them if they vote to uphold abortion restrictions, but insisted he was not making a threat and offered no apology." “I shouldn't have used the words I did, but in no way was I making a threat. I never, never would do such a thing, and Leader McConnell knows that," Schumer said on the Senate floor. McConnell on Thursday described Schumer's three-year old remarks by telling Hewitt, "Chuck Schumer for example earlier went over to the Supreme Court, called out two of the members by name, and said they pay a price if they ruled a certain way." www.rawstory.com/mitch-mcconnell-defends-clarence-thomas/
