I'm loving the Rosie's Studio All Wrapped-up collection. The entire collection is $57.99 USD (20% off). International shipping is $20 which seems fairly reasonable to me but I don't know any better since I don't typically shop internationally for scrapbooking stuff. Does anyone know the quality of Rosie's Studio? I feel like this could be the perfect collection to do my baby's first Christmas. www.rosiestudio.com/product-category/all-wrapped-up/{Not} Just for Boys Kit Club has included Rosie's Studio products in past kits and the quality is great! That is a super cute collection.

Chinagirl828 your page is absolutely stunning. Great job making the colors of the lights pop against the black background! I love it!

Saw that Spellbinders has released new Christmas items and there's a nice selection of old stuff in their clearance area.

She has some really beautiful designs and I know I've come across her collections in one or two stores but it's definitely not widely available. I love her really soft aesthetic, and I'd like about 100 sheets of this tiny gold star paper and also the black version please and thank you. I earmarked that one as well - gorgeous!!

Thatโs gorgeous! I donโt typically use much florals, but my exception to that is poinsettias at Christmas. There is a new line by Carta Bella that's all florals. www.acherryontop.com/shop/company/carta_bella/line/christmas_floraThere are a couple of papers that I really like. It's interesting. I feel like florals are one of those things (like Candy Corn) that people either love or hate.

I donโt know if itโs because I have so much Christmas in my stash or what, but I have yet to order/buy any new Christmas lines this year. I know that will change because Christmas is the one theme I donโt think I would ever quit. I know itโs still early too. Seems earlier than ever for some reveals this year.
Crossing fingers for a good Crate Paper line and always look forward to the KP/Paper Person reveals.

Crossing fingers for a good Crate Paper line Yes! They have the best embellishments. I loved those tassel trees from last year. Really fun.

Can't believe I missed this post! I'd better get moving and finish my DD from last year - just have one day to do. Then time to get started on some cards, I think.
I have plenty of supplies in my stash as well as an extra album I bought last year so am not planning to buy anything - famous last words!

I snuck those little packages into that cupboard and closed the door. Don't usually start card making until October. Then I scrap Christmas until February. I don't think it is too much to ask of those holiday scrappy supplies to stay in their corner for the other 8 months of the year... Hey, that sounds like a great plan: sneakily shop a little in summer and then open your cupboard in autumn to rediscover your brand new goodies and stash! I have this paper pad!! I wish you lived closer so I can share. I use it a lot ๐ Saw your comment on my phone after we left on vacay. Needless to say, I ended picking this pad up when I read you use it a lot. The watercolour finish looks really pretty and I'm giddy about using some of it this year. It's quite original compared to usual Christmas lines and the brand is actually a Michael's exclusive. One European scrap retailer managed to negotiate a limited purchase so I feel super lucky to have this pad. Hugs and thank you from across the pond! Are Christmas embellishments important to you in your creating process/album? I tend to use non-Christmas themed papers so I like having some themed embellishments, but if this were the base of my kit, I'd probably just use lots of labels, hearts/stars/sequins, word stickers, and let's be honest, probably some fussy cut florals. You know what? Black and white embellishments will work great. Some pink and tomato red ones, too. I feel like I shouldn't worry too much about finding matching embellies now that I own it. And you're right, hearts + fussy-cut elements + basic ribbons + generic things will work great with this anyway. Not sure why I was worried! dawnnikol So many of the embellishments you sent me are actually a great match with the Miss Claus pad. It's such a happy coincidence! Thank you so much again. #diecutheaven Does anyone know the quality of Rosie's Studio? I feel like this could be the perfect collection to do my baby's first Christmas. I see others have already replied but the last time I tried Rosie's Studio back in 2019-ish, the paper was notably thinner than what I'm used to for scrapbooking. I also used to find this brand on AliExpress but no longer do, alas. It was a great way to get it shipped on the cheap (the prices were actually about the same as Rosie's Studio but the shipping was free/nearly free). I think that those embellishments would work great with several scrappy Christmas lines we've had in recent years so if you're worried about coordinating, I think you could find good matches for papers elsewhere. sleepingbooty, I'm late to the party on the Christmas collections because of our travels, but thank you for bringing it all together as you do! I really appreciate having such a handy reference here xx My pleasure! It helps a lot seeing it all in one place, doesn't it? I have a bit of catching up to do after being on vacay for over a week but I'm going to do my best to have all the left-over reveals in that thread by Wednesday evening. I'm making some cards with this Paper Rose Studio Poinsettia Garden paper pad this week. It's very classy. Oooh, pretty and sophisticated! I love that this has a proper white background, not some creamy shade. Must be fun and visually refreshing to work with. Anyone here come across the work of German designer Alexandra Renke? www.alexandra-renke.com/collections/thema-weihnachten I stumbled upon her pages recently having bought some (well, quite a lot, actually) cute dies from Piggy Craft on AEx whose origin I didn't recognise. Now looking at her website, she has some really pretty Christmas collections, quite sophisticated designs reminiscent of some of the gentler 49 & Market papers I think. I can't be the only European to feel happy to find another source on this side of the pond!! Alexandra Renke is pretty famous in Western and Central mainland Europe but doesn't export much (anymore). Lovely paper quality as well. I, too, have accidentally bought some AX dies that turned out to be her stuff. So versatile and a great clean aesthetic. Can you find it easily in the UK? Last Christmas page from my 2021 album: Whoa, that's so striking! Love the contrast of those joyful colours and the black (plus, the dark background makes the actual lights pop, too). I need to know why that huge elf is climbing up the pole now. Seems like someone was lit a little differently? I know I'll get some slaps for saying this but I'd really love a sneak of the 2023 AE albums... Summer's abject humidity has got me in a mini funk. Stalking her Insta stories. Cannot wait!

I'm annoyed at the forever late reveal for the CP Christmas collections but bring on the cute critters and lovely colours. I had a scrapping weekend away with friends, and had goals of solid progress in my 2022 December album. I got 10 pages in, and then also completed 2, 12x12 layouts for my regular album. I was very pleased with the productivity! So just over halfway in the DD... feels like I might actually complete the album for 22Super impressed with your progress! 10 pages in one weekend is a lot. Kudos! I'm so excited for you to do the other half of the album and be able to close that chapter and put all the memories away on your shelf. It just feels great finishing such a big project as DD.

No - I had not seen her work at all until I followed through stuff on AX and found her website! I very much like her style and am glad to have come across her (as well as loving those teeny tiny dies and stuff for this year's JYC) I haven't found anyone in the UK selling her designs, though can order direct from Germany, no problem.

Please excuse the lighting but I am {{this close}} to finishing off my paper pad and the sun was out and it's motivating for me to share. All these cards should probably get some embellishment added but knowing me they might not. The remaining scraps on the left side will mostly become little deco inside the cards. I just have a couple of the background gingham/stripe papers to find a use for - I bought the poinsettia garden patterned pad to use the other papers up but apparently didn't portion them out quite right. BTW the JOY die was a freebie from scrapbook dot com. I rarely take free things but this one I like Christmas in July by jo.blackford, on Flickr Christmas in July by jo.blackford, on Flickr ETA: the sentiments are all from a Paper Rose printed sentiment pack. It's nice to have them all ready to go and it seemed to be pretty good value and a huge time saver for me.

I made some good progress on my photo organising project (the 1990s are done - onward to the 1980s) so I rewarded myself with some scrappy time and got 5 layouts (6 pages) down of the December 2022 in my big kids' album Nice work on organizing and scrapping! That must feel very satisfying. The 80s should have some fun hair and fashion... ?

Hi friends! Been lurking for awhile and I think I'm ready to start thinking about December. Last year, I made felt ornaments, Christmas cards and my DD and I think I've finally recovered. This year, it's got to be either ornaments or cards but not both. I may treat myself to one those gorgeous Minted cards this year. I like making felt ornaments because they are perfect gifts for those I want to give a little gift to but not spend a lot of money.
As for my DD, I may attempt to make one 6x8 page a day, a la Jennie Rey. I so love her style and her ideas are always so out of the box and different! I like the simplicity of not having to figure out how I'm going to back a pocket page to a 6x8 spread. Looking forward to what Ali has to offer, too.
In the meantime I'll enjoy seeing what everyone else is planning on!

joblackford - those cards are lovely - well done! Not sure how much 80s fashion/hair will show up in mum's photos...dad wasn't in steady work often once he retired from the Army and we moved to the States in 1980 and we kids wore a lot of yard sale and thrift store clothes and mum cut our hair (she was NOT skilled).

Linda I love how cohesive yet individually unique these pages feel! You did such a neat job using a similar cream shade as the background for all of them. That multi-colour tree pattern paper for your Christmas tree photos looks so pretty and fun, by the way. Is that your new house? It looks very nice. ๐ Congrats on the progress with your huge photo organisation project! How much is left approximately? joblackford Oooh, you did such a pretty job with those papers. The entire set of cards looks so neat and chic. I especially love the horizontal design on the bottom with the striking nearly all black & white aesthetic with the tight diagonal stripes. Beautifully minimalist! ๐ karinec Yay for finally feeling ready to think about December after last year's overwhelm. You did a lot. I love the idea of looking to Jennie for inspiration. Her pages are always so nice and different. She does a great mix of accessible hybrid pages with interactive elements and striking graphic design. And her videos make it so easy to try out her techniques, too. ๐ Her Day 1 page + insert last year is so, so beautiful. blemon Here comes the new stuff, here comes the new stuff! ๐ Soooo, share the joy, what's coming your way?

I have loads of pictures from the 1930s-1980s to go plus a decent amount from the 1910s and 1920s and a handful from the 1880s-1900s. 1969-1989 should be fairly easy - before that it's a bit of a guessing game especially in the mid 60's where mum visited every country in Europe except I think Albania.

I don't think I preordered any other Christmas stuff. It's been so long since I ordered I don't even remember. Sending you loads of good organisation vibes! That project is even bigger than I thought. I'm glad you have the past three decades done. The 1910-1920 era should be so interesting to look back on, as well as your mother's great European trip. Love your black and white pages, by the way. The green glitter strip as a seam adds just a little bit of whimsy without detracting from the fun lights (OMG, Nessie!). I'm sitting flipping through my very thin Christmas paper stash. I have some lovely papers from several past Crate Paper collections that I'd love to finally put to good use this year. Feeling tempted to try to prep some very generic pages. Maybe interactive spreads? It's always that fear of cutting into a fave that you've held onto without being 100% sure you'll end up liking + using the end product. But oh well, you only live once and there's always more cute paper.

Did you get Geralyn's new summer vacay line for Pinkfresh? Yes, I got most of it -- just not the paper. I guess I'm only into embellishments these days? Feeling tempted to try to prep some very generic pages. Maybe interactive spreads? It's always that fear of cutting into a fave that you've held onto without being 100% sure you'll end up liking + using the end product. It's just paper! Craft because it's fun. If the layout doesn't turn out how you want it to or you don't use it this year, just cut it up into something else. I've made a few things over the years that I don't end up using after the prep phase. And for some reason I always use them the next year. Paper doesn't go bad. Cut cut cut!
