My first CiQs: I don't think they came out all that well. I probably need more practice. Although I did have a bad thought. I know there was a set that was part of an event kit and misaligned, but they corrected it for the full market release. Was it this one? Because I bought it in the BST group on FB and didn't think to ask its provenance EtA: Yep, it was this set. The fourth layer seems misaligned in slightly different ways in different panels. Will be more careful next time -- both using the stencil and shopping on FB!!

Yes, that was the CiQ that was misaligned on some sets. Love your color choices!

I've been doing a little stenciling. Concord & 9th Homegrown stencil and dies. The Greetery Spring Meadow stencil set. I made 5 of these total and the item I'm most proud of is the darn black sentiment strip. White heat embossing and I are not normally friends. I stamped with white pigment ink instead of embossing ink and it made a huge difference.

Thank you -- I "cheated" and used inks from the Altenew retreat, figured they were already a curated collection.

Anybody else thinking of the possibility of removing those two smallest lobes on the beech (I think) leaf for a card for a certain sort of friend?

I hosted a couple friends for a three day cardmaking retreat this past weekend. We all made lots of cards, played games, watched movies and the Seahawks and ate too much yummy food. It was perfection. Here are the cards I came away with. Straight from the MFT site...but I have a couple kitty fans and I knew I needed to case this shaker card. MFT has a new poinsettia card kit. But, I knew I had a similar set I purchased last year from Pretty Pink Posh. Pretty Pink Posh holiday mug set and a winter foliage stencil from PPP Both of these use the Simon Say Stamp Gnome card kit from last year. Reverse Confetti Party Pals...I colored a lot of the images, but haven't finished all the cards yet.

Oh my, I am soooooo far behind on this thread. Fabulous cards friends, thanks so much for sharing. I love all your inspiration! Shall we just use this thread for 4th Q cards as well? Maybe for 2024, if no one minds, should we have just one longer thread for the year? Please say so if you'd prefer the quarterly threads. I'm also wondering if when you share your photos in a different thread (unless they are event specific), could you also post the link to that post on this thread? Not asking for the photos to be posted twice, but could you possibly add the url to where they are posted it would be great and more people would see them. I think it would be lovely to have most of our cards that have been posted linked in one thread for us all to refer back to. If it's too much trouble or you simply disagree, no harm, no foul.

I think one thread for the year is perfect. This cardmaking site moves slower and it would be great to have all the creations in one place.
And I will try to remember to post here too

I'm also wondering if when you share your photos in a different thread (unless they are event specific), could you also post the link to that post on this thread? I actually tend to do the opposite. I post them here (unless event-specific) and link to this thread in the challenge thread or what-have-you.

I just posted some related cards to the Sheetload thread. More details there but here are the cards: SLoC September by jo.blackford, on Flickr close up: SLoC September by jo.blackford, on Flickr green set: Sept share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I was using up some old Paige Evans Pink Paislee paper I had bought under the influence of a YTer 4+ years ago. It was so pretty I couldn't bring myself to cut it for a long time, but in the end I managed to use every last inch of the 3 papers, including the branding strips! Here are the non-Sheetload designs I used for the 3rd piece of paper. A6? colored cardbases with a mismeasured cut that I decided I liked and repeated: Sept share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Scraps on A2 cards: Sept share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

I haven’t posted pics in a while, so here are a few recent cards. These were made with a set we received with the February 2023 PF event. Posted these on another thread as well. Reverse Confetti stamps, SSS sentiment die. Layered heat embossing (new to me technique) and ink blending. Sentiment made by inking paper, die cut, drag through versamark, and then used BMonroe triple thick embossing dip. Taylored Expressions stencil set and The Stamp Market sentiment:

I’m in love with your fall mushrooms MichyM - such gorgeous colors! I love a good mushroom. They seem to be everywhere lately but some are either a bit too realistic or too cutesy. They really seem to glow in those colors. Very nice combo of stenciling, foiling, and embossing on your notecards too.

I made the mushrooms a month ago and didn’t write the color names down but hopefully this will give you a general idea. I did one full set in each color way, then mixes them up for the cards.

Wow. You guys are all professional cardmakers! Everything is so pretty. I am just here to post a card where I mis-interpreted one of the challenges but I thought the card was cute and wanted to share. My pineapple card:
