Just realized I never posted these. I have two more birthdays coming up for my TE group in January and February. I didn't care all that much the TE set from C&CD in March, but used one of the cards from the class for a September birthday in that group. Made one more panel and two more cards and then sold the set on FB:

Yeah. It's a pretty enough set but sort of too delicate and twee for me. I've been joining various brand "buy/sell/trade" groups with an eye to sell off some things. Now if only I can stop buying things there....

I may be sharing a lot today as I’ve got a whole buncha photos in my camera roll from the last couple of months. First up iare these Hellebores from Altenew. Have I mentioned Lately how much I enjoy Ink blending?!? 😆 Also a huge fan of Hellebores, I’ve got a couple of them blooming in my terrace right now. I love Having flowers blooming in the dead of our dark, wet winters. Anyhow, I used A technique I saw on a JM video when I embossed a pierced cover plate using Versa mark and embossing powder. I love The depth that embossing the pierced plate gives when embossing it. Much more so than simply cutting it. Apologies for any typos. Fat fingers on a phone. Trying to show the BG, but the puffiness of the BG is difficult to capture….

Hanukkah. I used the new SSS stamp set, a retired Honey Bee set, and some Catherine Pooler papers. I stamped the menorah on this next one and then added 2 layers under it. Because it did not want to fiddle with die cutting 3 layers of flames for the candles I decided to used these dots. But then the menorah looked too flat for the “flames” so I used versamark and two layers of Brutus Monroe embossing dip. It turns it into this thick, shiny embellishment. Love this stuff, I use it rarely, but when I do, itreally makes a difference! i only ended up making about 2 dozen Hanukkah cards, of which I have about 12 left to donate. I’m hoping I can get my act together and make maybe 3 Hanukkah cards a month so I have a decent amount to give next fall. And while I do a ton of Happy Holidays and Seasons Greetings, I want to work on more VERY neutral winter type cards for next year as well.

The Stamp Market (both images). The first is from our event in October, with a few changes. I thought the white background needed something, but nothing colorful to compete with the wreath, so I used stencil past and a couple different stencils to give it some textural interest. I also wanted the cards to stand up on their own and not hang over the edge a lot, so I made them 5x5 (mail in a 5x7 envelope for no extra charge). I added a few more leaves because why not, and called it good. I made it through 10 of them. Amazing, yes? These truly were a labor of love, cute we know how times consuming they were to make! This is a small stamp and die set from TSM as well. I bought it end of last year, so it patiently was waiting for me to use. These are a big card-lift from a design on their site. Again I thought a plain white background was too much, so I used glitter paste and a small snowflake stencil to make a subtle background (which didn’t carry though to the picture). I also made a few dozen of them in various shades of green and made more masculine versions of the cards.

MichyM Your cards a beautiful! I love the Hanukkah card with the yellow dots for flames. What a great idea to turn the TE triple slim fall card into a Christmas card by adding the poinsettia dies.

Took pretty much a year to get the vision to come to fruition: Still needs a sentiment.

That is great Shakti ! I always associate cardinals with loss, and think that would make a great "thinking of you" card.

You ladies make gorgeous cards! Will be back to look at them all in detail. Wanted to share a couple of cards I created using supplies from the SCT Crop & Create Holiday event. I didn't completely finish any class, but managed to adapt some of the instructions and use some of the supplies. Realized I never circled back and shared my Hanukkah half a SheetLoad of cards: Could you share the brand of these papers please? Thanks a bunch. MichyM, that is the two sides of the ONE Hanukkah paper they had at my local Michael's, so I imagine it's Recollections brand. I am really happy you like it. There was also exactly ONE pack of Hanukkah stickers, so I felt very limited and a little lame. That's why I made half a sheet load and left it at that.
