Is this different than declaring a disaster? I know Newsome declared one before Hilary hit knowing it would likely do damage in some areas. Why would anyone wait months after the fact? Get help flowing as quickly as possible. Of course they are criticizing Biden for not acting quickly enough - think it was 6 hours and he had national guard, navy snd I can’t remember what else mobilizing . Oh and the fact that there was only $700 per person which is the FEMA limit and I guess needs the house to give more. Every day I hate politics more. |

There is this rock icon who’s music I have loved for decades.
A couple of weeks ago I was playing one of his well known albums and checked twitter. There was a tweet where he was suggesting that we listen to this young man sing one of his songs.
For some reason I replied to his tweet and told him I was playing his album and would check out the guy he suggested listening to.
I very rarely tweet except to people I know and just the other day I thought about the tweet thinking how dumb I was to do it and thought about deleting it.
This afternoon I saw I had a notice on twitter so when I looked it said this rock icon is now following me on twitter.
So I called a friend and told her about it and we giggled about like a couple of school girls about it.
Then I noticed I had a DM so I checked and this rock icon had send a message hoping I was having a beautiful day.
I checked the account and it says it’s his official account and the tweets are this person’s and the tweets are all something that would be sent by this person. Interviews this person has given and comments about other singers I guess this person knows. So it looks legit. But still.
Anyway once I quit giggling like a 16 year old I will reply to the DM with a simple response to be polite.
