Super cute. I might go to goodwill to see if there are any halloween children's books. Great idea!

For the Hallmark watchers we've got our first spooOooOoky movie tonight on the movies and mysteries channel! - Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Murder in G Major. Happy to see them go back to actual mystery things and not just.. sad depressing stuff they've been throwing on there the past few holiday seasons. "A new teacher at an Irish prep school is shocked to find a ghost haunting her house. She decides to help solve his murder in the hopes that it will allow him to move on. Starring Tamera Mowry-Housley, Risteard Cooper and Marco Grazzini." We've got turtlenecks, cozy AF looking coats to which I want the teal one Tamera is wearing, beautiful scenery based on these press photos, and she's got two love interests and who's got 2 thumbs and loves love triangles? This girl I'm totally here for this on my 85°F (~29°C) last day of Summer lol

jenna I just remembered that some of these movies were filmed in Fairmont, WV, a town about 20 minutes south of where I live. I'm going to find a link to see which ones they are!

I finally placed my scrapbook order this morning. I ended up with the black 6x8 snap album. And I got the Pebbles Spooky paper pad because I think that would go nice with Ali's collection. I also went through my things and I had forgotten I bought Elles Studio Halloween tab stamp set last year and never used it.
I also order 4 Stephen King short story collections this morning. So I have some spooky reading to do. I'm so excited. I'm going home from my beach vacation today and I'm going to decorate my house this week. Bring on October!

I’m wearing my spooky pals sweatshirt from Juniper Fox today - mine is black which looks better than the new version IMO.

Any good stamps on AliExpress or temu?
I want to play around and I don't really have any. I only have the studio calico one from last year's release.
I don't like sentiments. I want to play with shapes and make patterns. I like messing around with layers too.
I've seen a lot with a bunch of detail and I don't know that's what I want.
If you have samples of stuff done with detailed stamps, please share. I don't think I want to color in anything.

Anyone else get this from Studio Calico? Ugh. They have this same stamp on pre-order right now, so why couldn’t they just let me know that it was going to take longer than expected instead of cancelling my order.

It's here! Fall is officially here for me.
I'm kicking off this year's album with the events from last night. My daughter marched in the Buckwheat Parade. It's a yearly festival that's been happening for 81 years in a pretty rural area with a small town. So it has all the goodness you would expect: carnival rides and games, livestock, 4H exhibits, parades, kettle corn, lemonade, Smokey the Bear, and the first hints of Fall are hitting the leaves. It was not too chilly but I had to wear a jacket.
Bring it. I am here for it.
I can't wait to play around with the photos I took while the kid is at the game marching (for the third time this week, Fall be crazy).

I just can’t this year (we are moving at the end of the month and there’s painting and packing and on and on) - I have an album ready for next year. Your event sounds perfect. Love it.

We tipped from summer to fall very suddenly so I’m adding all my spooky and autumnal things to the house this weekend. I just need to remember to upload all the photos we took of pumpkin spice nonsense at Target yesterday for our overseas friends. I was very restrained even when my husband was enabling me at full force but I might go back for a silly bat skeleton at a later date. Trying to get the feelings without buying all the stuff!

It’s really hard to get in the October mood when it’s 90 degrees outside. Sigh.

So I do a Fall album.
I'm going to have to do the first page not chronologically and I'm trying to tell myself that's ok.
The first story just needs to be a 2-page layout. I have lots of photos and I don't want to have a foldout thing on the first spread (I don't know why).
The second story can easily be 1 page with a pocket on it for a couple of extra photos.
I don't know. I think I'll print both full-page photos and see what I think.

blemon, my first page is always a bucket list. But also today I went to an octoberfest party. So day 2 will be the party. I go totally out of order. For last years album I just told a story for day 23 that happened on the 10th. I needed to fill in space.

Normally I don't really care but since it's the first story, I felt like it should go first. So I made it work. It is not my best layout and I'm not 100% happy with it but it is done and I had to get that first pancake out of the way.

We hosted a Halloween party last year and I have a ton of photos I would love to scrap. I'm thinking in a 4x4 or 6x8 album, but I'm having a hard time finding the perfect Halloween album. Does anyone have any suggestions? Paige has her 4x4 sequins album for pre-sale, but I'm having a hard time with the price point for a 4x4 album.

My cover page http://instagram.com/p/Cx2hqGuOxVa Day 1 http://instagram.com/p/Cx6TucdOkKw Day 2 will be a story about Oktoberfest that we went to on the first. I have to go in the office so it will not get done for a bit. Today I was thinking of the prompt what are you scared of. I went on my lunch walk and almost stepped on a tiny snake but I was terrified and yelped. That may be the story for day 3.

Does anyone know when K Bradford will ship the stamps for the spooky alpha? I think it’s called Stanford. I ordered 9/7 and haven’t heard a peep since. Melissa Morelli has it shown in her O31 pic she posted in insta.

These are so good! You're rocking it.
I love the story about the snake. And there are so many fun snake embellishments.
Today my story will be about how it was 50F when I got up with a high of 80. (maybe)
Oh October.

I finally got my October reading materials. Apparently they got lost somewhere in Ohio on their way from B&N. I went with some Stephen King short story collections for a spooky October..

Well I am going to try my hand at an October Daily.
I bought a cheap Golden Book book (Sleepy Hallow) and will use that as my cover and back along with 6x8 pocket pages and d rings I had on hand. So I spent $4.50 for the book.
S.H is one of my favorite Halloween cartoons since I was a kid so I think I am going to keep the cover photo there but cover the back part.
Day 1 is about some decor my mom gave me years ago.
Day 2 is about my snoopy decorations.
Day 3 is about ? Not sure yet what today will be about.

My neighbors way down the street have stepped up their Halloween game! They've added to the yard. They have a small carriage (looks 1800's ish) but I'm pretty sure it's plastic. It has a skeleton hanging over the sides. I might go for a little walk with my son and get some pictures.
My daughter brought me home a pumpkin spice doughnut. Very delicious cake doughnut. I have my trees decorated with pumpkins, but I haven't added anything spooky yet.
jeremysgirl I like your spooky reading selection. I've bought some Stephen King books over the years at library/bookmobile sales. I need to start after my audiobook. It's The Shop on Royal Street by Karen White. It's a mystery/fantasy book. A woman buys an old cottage in New Orleans that has a haunted history. I'm only on chapter two.

Day 3 will be a portrait of my daughter that I will turn into a zombie. I want to ask her some questions like she’s a zombie.
I had something different for story 3 above but I’m going to hold that story a bit.

So the idea I had to make an album didn't quite turn out. So I looked on Amazon as I had some credit and found a 6x8 Sn@p chipboard album that had green fabric on part of it. Orderd that and altered it. Here is what I have so far: Front of album Front cover where I got to use my book Back of Front cover page
