My first time buying Ali’s DD products, I usually go rogue. But I bought the star album, plastic tags and specialty paper. Checked out by 10:02. Went back in and bought the PP stamp set. Pretty excited about receiving the box, plus today is my birthday, so December Me loves this.

I ordered two stamps and I couldn't resist the wood stars. Until I read your posts this morning, I didn't remember the products even went on sale today let alone what time. Which two stamps did you get? I got the wood stars, too. Love them. I got the paislee press stamp set. I couldn't resist the pull for more photos stamp. I really think that is going to come in handy. And I also got the circles stamp. I'm a little irritated by the $13 shipping I feel like those few things probably wouldn't have merited $13 if regular shipping rules were in place.

Going to bed now that it’s 1am here and I’ve bought all my must haves, best of luck to the rest of the peas. Will add stamps to box later once I check my stash as they’re a preorder. 3x8 album also sold out

They said the classes now have to be purchased through the website as classes usually are. The misspelling on the tag is a white one that says “our ____ story” - I can’t remember what it was supposed to say. At first glance I thought it was special story - but I remember that’s not what it was supposed it be. Yeah jeremysgirl - that normally would have been a $6.00 shipping so that’s a bummer.

The site was really slow loading the December Daily page for me initially, it froze about halfway through trying to load, and I couldn’t get it to work, it really stressed me out for a little bit. I was able to get everything on my list, so it all worked out. I had to pay close attention since I was reading the words instead of clicking on pictures, but I don’t think I made any mistakes. I was afraid I was going to order something I didn’t want 😂. The only major glitch I had, and am still currently having, is it WILL NOT let me look at the classes. When I click on the class tab, it immediately takes me back to the kits page. Oh well, at least those aren’t something that will sell out, so I just need to remember to order before the cheaper price goes away. Hopefully everyone else got everything on their lists since it was a decent amount of time before any of this year’s products sold out. There shouldn't be a tab for classes under the DD box area, if you're seeing one. They moved it to the main Classes page yesterday or something b/c they were having issues. Per their IG. aliedwards.com/shop/classesThanks! That would explain it. Yesterday was the only day that I didn’t have time to check their instagram updates. I do have a Class tab visible, but it doesn’t work.

Yes, I had the same concern that I was going to buy the wrong product as well, lol. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to go in and get the die cuts on my second order. I'm not surprised they are gone now, but the fact that they didn't disappear in 2-3 minutes after launch was nice!

Feels really weird not to order the mini kit this year. I have been getting that forever and I liked the papers so much more than previous years, but I just couldn't justify. Same.

They just added Stories of Christmas Past for a small discount if anyone cares. Nope - biggest disappointment I’ve ever felt for a kit so I’m rage refusing to buy it until it gets to about $10. And then I’ll lose all morals 😂😂 I bought it because I just "HAD" to have the class. What a waste lol Still haven't cracked the seal on the kit. Blah.

Well, I caved. I’ve never bought anything from Ali’s December Daily release but I regretted not getting the floral album last year. So I grabbed the green 6x8 album. I’m not planning on doing a separate album this year (and I’m resisting the urge to give in to FOMO) but I figured I could save it for next year. I am an absolute sucker for a well done floral/foliage pattern. I kinda feel guilty for paying that shipping, but I am going to keep an eye out for older stuff to be added at a reduced price and might take advantage. I’m having very mixed feelings about my purchase and I’m trying to justify it, obviously.

Try justifying $50 (aud) shipping - I end up adding so much to my box each year just to try!!!🥲 I hope they bring out another 3x8 album with a different design…

If you look at the IG stories it gives hints on what they're running low on.
- large die cut papers - 10x8 specialty papers - red plastic #s - 10x8 holiday papers

In non-AE DD spending, just picked up some items from Elle’s Studio to round out my DD purchases for this year:
Got the 3x4 Pocket die to make my own (stitched) pockets—should get a lot of use out of it for general scrapping in addition to DD.
Also picked up the red foil chipboard numbers instead of the Ali’s red transparency numbers (better price point, and the white with red foil will work well with the white star album)
And couldn’t miss out on the Christmas Carol stamp set—Christmas music is a big part of our December every year.
For folks looking to beef up their Christmas stamp collections, don’t forget Elle’s Studio. Great quality stamps, usually a better price point than Ali’s…

Ack! I was in the hospital all day yesterday with contractions before they sent me home so I didn’t remember to set my alarm! I jumped out of bed at 7:30am and I got everything I wanted except the die cuts. If anyone ordered an extra one on accident I’d love to buy it from you.

Now that the initial rush is over, what is everyone eyeing, that you’re going to have to try not to add to your box over the next month? For me, the biggest one is the Main Kit. I really like it, but I hope I hold strong. Since she’s transitioned the kits to be more for her 10x8 albums, I really feel like a lot of things are sized pretty big for someone who uses 6x8, and wants to have a photo heavy book. I tend to like smaller embellishments in my 6x8 albums than what I like for larger pages. Another thing that stops me from buying some of Ali’s stuff is the large quantities. I would rather buy a $3-$5 pack of embellishments with half of the quantity of products. I think she just prefers more repetition in her products than I do personally. My other two largest temptations so far are the envelopes, and the circle stamps.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

My 2 cents is I would get one of those options for variety .

If anyone bought the main kit, and decides they want to sell one of the large wreaths, and one of the Kraft pockets with the pullout, I would be interested in buying them 😊

In keeping with the spirit of the release lol
I ordered the 10X8 handwriting album- I don't love Ali's handwriting, but I wanted a festive red. On the shelf it should look nice. The 6X8 floral. I'm going to use it for a quick look book for my daughter's Mountaintop wedding, I think. Unless the green is just all wrong, in any case, it's pretty lol I got the felt stars and numbers (they will match my entire stash pretty well being a crisp white), the specialty journal cards and the specialty paper pack. I might have gotten the die cuts, but now the only thing I have remaining on my maybe list is the transparent journal 3X8 (I think) journal cards.
Glad that's all over lol

I just hit BUY after seeing your post . I'd love to see what you do with the pocket die - I had not thought about stitching on those, but I like that idea a lot and I felt like it would be super versatile outside of DD.

The product I keep eyeing is the die cut pages. Shaped pages? Not exactly sure what they’re called. I also still quite like the main kit from 2021. If that pops up at a good price I might get it. I think it was really cheap during a sale last year, a one hour sale?, but I was out celebrating my kid’s birthday and missed it.

I love the 3x8 journal cards, but again, it’s just such a large quantity, and I don’t want to spend $20 on them. I really might consider those in the digital release. I might buy some of the main kit cards in digital also this year. I was going to wait and get the Paislee Press mini kit in digital form this year, but yesterday I decided I really wanted the physical products in at least one of the kits, so I chose that one. There’s just something so fun about pulling a kit out of the fun little box, and going through all of the pieces, it’s like opening a present😂
