I liked her post last week with all the stamps, but this one blew me away with so many translatable page ideas! I am definitely creating some foundation pages based off of her ideas. She put a lot of care and attention into the pages, videos and blog post. It’s really amazing! I mean I know it’s basically a marketing tactic to sell the main kit, but it’s really useable and lots of great content! Made me go look at the kit again but I still don’t need it (I bought basically everything but the kits lol). |

I'm glad we are moving away from the hand lettering trend. While I like the hand lettering, it was hard to find text in a traditional font for a while there. Me too! I'm picky about the type of hand lettering that I do like. No more brush script please! I do like Heidi Swapp's handwriting but not Ali's. Like I said, picky.  |

I finished two December Daily 2022 pages last Sunday that I'll try to post when the youngest child is in school tomorrow. It's been a wild week, but actually in a good way! I saw Rachel Platten on Friday in a beautiful outdoor concert. We won the tickets and I do like her, but not LOVE, so I was debating about going. She sang some amazing songs from her new album.

I got an email from Ali Edwards saying they’d added older products to the shop. The only thing that tempted me was the organization box from a couple of years ago. I added it to my cart, and then talked myself out of it. I like the idea of it so much, but for around the same price I could get something not made out of thin cardboard from Target, ikea, or Hobby Lobby, so as of right now I’m not buying anything.
I’m really ready for the boxing period to end already, same as every year 😂

I was also rather disappointed with the slim offerings from DD past. I don't typically buy from Ali so anything would have been new but there was nothing I cared for enough to add it to my box.

What I love, 4x6 craft cards, 3 of the wreaths, ornament pocket (just one), maybe velum diecuts. About half the rest I might use. The remaining half would go to sell pile or donate. That’s not worth it right?

Though you'd have to buy printable vellum for the die cuts, unless you already had some. Then factor in ink & cutting them out. For me, it's a better deal to buy the physical kit. Seems I'm no help at all.  What was added today? I don't see anything new. Oops, never mind. It was only yesterday and Monday that they were adding products. Good luck on the mystery album! I was tempted & I'm glad it sold out before I caved. With my luck, it would've been a 4x6. |

Enabler alert  I think there is a lot you can use for "non DD" purposes. I see things I can use for gift tags, crafts, cards and other holiday purposes - I have started doing this more and more and it feels good to use things up even if not for scrapbooking. I was also annoyed with all of the wreaths until I saw what Pam did with several of them and want to copy all of her ideas! That said, I bet there are people willing to part with pieces of their main kits and would sell. |

Hallmark movie list -- here There's FORTY!  Tyler Hynes in another love triangle?! I love this stupid trope so much gimme gimme. Multiple travel movies.. we've got France, Scotland, UK, Norway, AND Germany which means we'll hopefully see some beautiful scenery !! Also excited for Haul out the Holiday sequel -- and I'm not normally a sequel girlie (There's another one that's "sort of" a sequel to Mystic Pizza which like.. who asked?!) But I'm stoked for this one, I remember thinking it was really funny last year. I'm a sucker for the royal movies so heck yeah to another one of those no doubt set in a made up country that sounds awfully British and I see Will Kemp is the MMC where thank the Gods he's not doing another American accent set in Britain like they had him do, was it last year? I don't remember but I do remember it was awful lol omg BRIAN GREENBURG IS IN A MOVIE?!?! My One Tree Hill heart is overflowing this year between him and Bethany Joy. We're also getting a fake dating (!!) lesbian movie and I'm so damn here for it. Also I just love Ali Liebert so there's that. Stacey Farber AND Shenae Grimes? Move over Jake Epstein because we've got a Degrassi alumni double feature this year. Also I'm doing an OC retwatch right now (justice for Marissa Cooper) and dang Chris Carmack has aged WELL. I'll be honest and I think I said it before when I ended up FOMO buying Christmas supplies for DD.. I'm really not into the holiday season this year and I'd already decided I wasn't going to decorate or really do anything with gift giving or traditions or anything after the bummer of a year I've had.. BUT LEMME TELL YOU the excitement I got reading the movie synopses  I'm like the equivalent of a Hallmark movie over here where I'm the grump with some sad backstory on why I am the way I am and who knows maybe Santa's son learning to be a Santa will come into my life and teach me about cheer or something but until then I think these movies are gonna be the driving force for me. |

I’m not sure why I need the movies to be new, since I only half watch them, but there’s something exciting about the anticipation, and picking out which ones I will for sure make time to watch 😂. Can’t wait!! |
