2023 megaaa DECEMBER DAILY thread (ALL December projects)

I’m working on mine. I’ve just gotten started but I usually don’t start until the summer so I don’t feel like I’m too far behind for me. I love going back and looking at blog posts on Ali’s site. I’m am motivated!

I am working on my DD2022, too! I've also been looking at Ali's blog posts for motivation and am loving working on this project this year. I'm taking it slow - enjoying the process of creating my own digital templates and cut files and taking time to foil all the things, stamp, emboss, etc. No rush to finish, just enjoying the creative outlet.

I really like her sneaks this year.  Does anyone remember or know what she typically charges for stamps and what the Christmas kit $ last year? 

Oh my goodness, this is beautiful!  How did I miss her?  Upon further investigation you can see the 3x4 digital cards that release with tomorrow's kit. Not gonna lie, I'm tempted to pick up this kit for next year.

I purchased the physical kit + the digital download and received the digitals immediately. I love this! So excited to play with those digitals this weekend.

The physical kit is a TN kit, and it doesn't look like you can buy the kit pieces separately.

I’m disappointed you can’t buy individual pieces, I have no use for a travelers notebook. I hope she has much success and continues to expand her offerings.

YEP! I'm glad Pam is wrapping up today because now I need those huge plastic hearts, too, and I've been so good until now of resisting the urge to add more to that box.

That Sahin Designs kit is lovely. It's not quite my style but there are lots of pieces in it that I love, especially the stamp set.

Ok, Ali’s DD boxing period finally ending, what are you on the fence about (if anything)

Album size: I selected the 6x8 white/gold star album, but may have more December events/photos this year, so torn about using a 10x8 album instead, but not in love with this year’s Ali’s writing album (although I love the red). I have the buildable red w/gold stars 10x8, but was planning to use that for a Disney album. Need to decide whether or not to add the 10x8…

Stamps: I really like the 6x8 Circles/text stamp, but already added 2 other 6x8 stamps, and they are pricey. I do *not* need these…

Silkscreens: I keep coming back to these, and also found some on Amazon that look interesting, but will I really use them? I have last year’s stencils, and some from Tim Holtz, so do I really need to add another mixed media item to my box???

Wow…that’s a hefty price tag. If I hadn’t already purchased Ali’s products, I might have considered getting the kit, but it’s too expensive for me even in the US. Some of it is available digitally on her website, but I couldn’t find a digital version of the stamp. That’s what I really wanted. Going to pass on it for now. I love her style, but I will continue to shop her digital products and skip the physical ones.

Just added the stencils, silkscreens and paint to my box. No regrets. I got a bonus from work, so into the box they went!

Gawd I'm so glad them boxes are closing.

I'm really tempted by a couple of things but I must stop!

I caved and got it this morning. I couldn't stop looking at it. I've been having a hard time physically for the past couple of weeks, probably a herniated disc, plus my father-in-law is now in hospice. I need something beautiful in my life. I'm struggling to do physical scrapbooking, but at least I can play with the digitals while I sit with my heating pad and blanket. 

I am so glad the bundling period is over at Ali's. Now its time to count the days til my box ships. I bought some items knowing I would not use them all, so I plan on re-selling some of the items I won't be using.
