I've already gotten some use out of my Sahin's digitals. One of the digital papers matched really well with one of my favorite photos from last year, so I made a tag out of it and added it to my story 12 for my 2022 DD!
I'm almost ready to assemble my album - getting close (I do batch processing). So excited!

Well, I just spent a stupid amount of money on stamps, so I’d better do a lot of stamping this year! I don’t know why stamps are my biggest weakness, but they are. I’ve had a set of Heidi Swapp Christmas stamps that I’ve wanted for a couple of years, that is out of stock every time I think I’m going to buy them. She has free shipping on her clear stamps right now so I ordered those, and her set of connection words that I’ve had in my cart. And then I did some damage at Kerri Bradford also. Her stamps always get me! I am also super tempted by the Christmas kit Citrus Twist just released, but I need to think on that awhile, and give my bank account a little break😂 We are the same person! 😁 I just received 5 Heidi Swapp sets I’ve been waiting on for 6 months to restock. I will be ordering Kerri Bradford soon. I shouldn’t go look at Citrus Twist but we know that’s not gonna happen. |

I am so glad the bundling period is over at Ali's. Now its time to count the days til my box ships. I bought some items knowing I would not use them all, so I plan on re-selling some of the items I won't be using. Finally! I didn't shop DD this year, I've just been following along for fun, and it seems like eons ago that y'all started shopping! I hope everything gets out fast, arrives safely, looks good, and/or gets resold easily  |

I wish it was separate pieces too. It is just too expensive for me. Also I think that she should put that the price is in USD. I put the kit and digitals in my cart and when through the checkout process to find out it was $90 CAD. Wow…that’s a hefty price tag. If I hadn’t already purchased Ali’s products, I might have considered getting the kit, but it’s too expensive for me even in the US. Some of it is available digitally on her website, but I couldn’t find a digital version of the stamp. That’s what I really wanted. Going to pass on it for now. I love her style, but I will continue to shop her digital products and skip the physical ones. I bought the combo of the physical kit and digitals and it was $60 for the physical kit, digitals which include several extras that are not in the physical kit, and for shipping (I think around $10 for shipping to me in Texas which I thought was really good for international!). I am not a TN girl either, but the stamp, puffy stickers, ribbons + digitals made me go for this. I love the color palette and I plan to use the TN as my Dec Daily "planner" book this year to track ideas and play around with designs. I did not buy any Ali E DD stamps, stickers or ribbons, so those fill a gap anyway. I will definitely come back here and share once it all arrives, but looking forward to something new and different from the places I typically buy from to add to my Dec Daily stash. I'm glad that people are buying the kit so Elif Sahin continues to release physical products. My complaint is more about the weakness of the Canadian dollar. Doing a physical album would be cool but it is felling like an expensive splurge. I may go digital or skip December Daily. |

I got the Holiday Headers, Merry Squares, and Take a Number. To be fair, I had planned on getting something from her shop for some time now. I was pleasantly surprised to see that shipping was only $5. I'm glad to know you're already using the Sahin Designs Digitals, carolynhasacat. I created a folder for them on my desktop so I don't forget to use them. Going to balance all of this by finally cancelling my Ali Edwards Story Kit. I've had a 6-month sub, and with all of the skips, I've met my commitment. I have no regrets about the kits I've purchased, but I just don't need so much physical product. |

I commented on the PP thread, the butter has been done before. I miss her creative originality. I think I've settled on the Take A Number XL - the large number block stamp. I'll get the most use out of that one, I think. I love to heat emboss block stamps. The Merry Squares are also calling my name, though. I love how Kerri mixes and matches her stamps to create stamp clusters that look so good together, but I don't love how expensive buying all the stamps is. I might pick up a couple of the others in digital format and then mix and match using some physical / some digital product. |

International shoppers are getting shipping notices per Ali’s FB group. I got an email saying that shipping was taking longer than normal because of the high volume of orders. Last year I got my stuff really late; I guess it will be even later this year. |

My order was placed 9/29 last year and shipped 10/14. I'm super close to KY so I always get my stuff about a day or two after it ships.
Actually I think the box closed 9/29 because I know I added things throughout the period.

So interesting, I went to look at last year, and it still shows my DD order as ACTIVE! LOL. I just remember it took a really long time to get it - like it was close to the end of October. As long as I get it before the November class starts I am fine. I will not be happy if the product play starts and I'm still waiting on product.

My order last year was shipped on 30 September. This year's order is still showing as active so we're already running behind. Last year's order was delivered on 10 October and it seems it's going to be later than that this year. I really hope it ships soon.

I know I’d use the supplies. They would certainly be therapeutic to have while I recover. I’m just unsure what to do! I really need to win the lottery… I hope everything goes well and yes, buy it all! I hope you have a smooth recovery.
My daughter and I went to Paige's December Daily class at Frank Garcia Studio last night. It was amazing! Paige is just as sweet in person as she seems on-line. That sounds awesome! It's good to hear about good experiences. |

I‘m in Germany and just received my shipping notice, so I guess my order is heavy enough to hit the Ups 5 Day express shipping. O fingers crossed this year it will come faster, because last year something went wrong with import customs and it was stuck there for almost a month after 3 days of shipping.
And this year is also the first year, something with my last order went wrong on the last day. I know I ordered the Santa album and those 3x8 transparency-cards set Pam used in her last lesson. I could see it in my box, but today it was gone, no confirmation mail and apparently no order to be found in their system(I got a conversation answer) - so I guess this saved me at least 33$ - because I won’t get an album with 29$ shipping. But I really want those 3x8 transparencies, so now I hope they put DD leftovers into the next sub boxing period.

Every year I start wanting to do a minimalist black and white album with very little color and then I abandon it because it’s hard. This year the universe has pointed me in this direction again. The citrus twist kit is super black and white and I a taking it as the slap in the face to do this finally.
Wish me luck. I will add color sparingly. I may attempt all b&w photos.

I did a very monochromatic album for 2022 dd using ae items from when she had a lot of black and bronze add on pieces (so bronze was my highlight on most pages) - I did an a to z of Christmas and I really enjoyed the theme and the change for that year (so 26 layouts instead of my usual 31.) Just recently finished the album and it was a great stash buster as a lot of the pieces I would never have used elsewhere! My photos ended up being in colour as I wanted to highlight a lot of changes in our house so black and white didn’t show just how gross the old colours/carpets were and how nice the new paint and floor was, but I could see black and white pics being a striking touch. Good luck and have fun (and yes I was so sad when I saw just how perfect the citrus twist kit would’ve been, but I did use a lot of black and white Christmas felicity Jane items in the album from her closing sale so I’m not toooo upset!) |

I’m not huge on journaling so I haven’t done jyc, might think about it for my Christmas family traditions album but I’m not a huge word person in my albums. I am therefore a dd kind of gal! There are many free printables if you google December daily prompts that you can use for inspiration for layouts. I know Krystal idunate had a jar of 25 prompts and a jar of 25 page elements (shaker, tags, diecuts, digital, black and white etc) and she pulled out a prompt and a design element each day and designed her album/project that way. I’ve also thought of trying some of the ways (“lenses”) people have tackled week in the life and using those for my dd albums (December in different colours, December in numbers - number of trees in the house, number of cards sent, number of friends who visited, number of presents etc) - last year my dd album was a to z of december (a is for advent, b is for baking etc). |
