Thoughts on today’s PP lesson (stencils/gelli plates)? Not for me but I admire people who aren’t afraid to jump in and get messy. I was actually disappointed. It looks like a hot mess and you can barely tell what design stencil she used. I agree. Not for my album style at all. I'm excited to see stencil use, though. The stencil pack was one of the things I put in my box first (ie I love stencils). |

One of my favorite parts of DD is Ali highlighting so many different creators. There is one in particular on today’s reel, nehlan.has.a.plan. Oh my are her pages gorgeous! A great way to find new creators to follow for inspiration. You're so right. Her creations are gorgeous. And it's up on the blog, not in the Product Play classroom! |

Product Play classmates! Thoughts on today’s lesson? I liked that Laura showed several options for using the stencils and that her projects weren’t so messy. I liked today’s lesson. I always enjoy Laura. I bought stencils last year but not this year. It never occurred to me to layer stencils so I liked those ideas and just the reminders, really, to use stencils. |

I just love Laura. I like how she showed her process and how she messed up and laughed about it. She's just got such positive energy.
I didn't buy the AE stencils but I have others and I want to try the masking/layering for sure.

Today’s Product Play lesson uses the wood veneer stars. Very simple. Thoughts? I actually enjoyed this a lot. All simple ideas but I like the result and I wouldn’t have thought of adding those stars to the paper (I have that paper) or attached sequins to the stars (love the ways that looked). I also liked the idea of attaching the stars to the transparency. I’m definitely going to copy this idea. I prefer more simple ideas like this- if it gets too complicated I’m just not going to do it. Honestly it was also kinda nice to have no talking! Lol |

They only do the graphic art for their items, not photos, so I wasn't sure what I'd be getting but he's great. I got him from ACOT but they sold out. I'm going to get a couple more of these. There is a hedgehog I've been eyeing! |

The left side of her 2 page 10x8 layout is what’s shown on her insta. The right side is her hands/ fingers doing number 2 and 5 and some labels with her reason why. So the whole things is like a title page/reason why. Wasn’t Elizabeth the one that did the vellum layered pockets last year with the fast sell out trees in the pockets along with tags? I thought her last years layout was lovely- really liked it. Wasn’t really into this one much. But I take the really duh ideas that I didn’t think of like stitching on the felt items (thought the little stitched ornaments on the tree were adorable) - and just the reminder to use my stamps for patterns on things. |
