Just seeing if anyone here in 2 Peas Refugees land are fortunate enough to own one of these pieces of organizational crafting furniture?
I just ordered mine!!!! Mostly because we moved and I needed (wanted) a more efficient way to have a craft room that could also be used as a guest room on occasion.
TIA

I have one, the dream box! I love it! I use it to scrap upstairs. Most of my supplies are in the basement, but the basement isn't very accessible with little kids around. So I use it upstairs to still be around the family and scrapbook.

I have one too! It stores a lot of stuff. Did you get the new version DB2. I leave mine semi open with the table down and outer door closed. I close it very rarely since it's in my craft room. Enjoy!

I would love one but my house is not big enough, even if I were to kick my husband out of our shared office. Enjoy!

Yes I have the DB2 coming sometime in late Oct-Nov 17th. They obviously don't build on spec so the orders are many weeks out!

I dream of having one. Part of the delusion that THAT will finally help me be organized, lol.

Well the Back-to-school sale sealed the deal. My DreamBox2 is re-ordered at a greater discount, as well as a dream cart and several cubby units. Now on to Spoonflower to order peel and stick wall paper to personalize my Dream box. I also have the Murphy Bed on order. Lots of building in my future, but in the end it will be worth it! Can't wait to organize my craft supplies into a new space and pretty new furniture! This is my old space in a much larger room with old repurposed furniture, lots of drawer units, etc. www.flickr.com/photos/145085519@N06/albums/72157719700039784

I’ve looked at these for years but never got one. The sale is tempted but I’m not sure it will work on my space best. I want to consolidate the space since I’m expanding our workout equipment.

Yeah, I think the purchase of my big "artmoire" which was originally built as a bar, was inspired by these products.
I now use it only for storage and never use the drop-down surface as a desk. There are features of these I still like for storage, but I don't think I'd ever use the work surface. I wish they had a way to configure it for storage only.

This is why I went with the desk and storage tower combo - I know they aren’t offered any more but I definitely use the stand up desk every time I craft and the storage tower is amazing for keeping everything easily accessible. Don’t think I would’ve gotten as much use out of a dream box even though it has more storage room in it if that makes sense?

Four cubby units came last week and are assembled. My Dream Box 2, Deluxe Crown, and Dream Cart all arrived today. It's the DIY version. DH had intended to have the flooring done in the room . . . but he was "I'm so sick with a virus I can't move" the three days before he left to fly back to Oregon. He is now madly working on our acreage and thinking about what gets moved this trip. We've STILL NOT SOLD our Oregon home . . . .
His shops are filled with tools and equipment he wants to move the new company building we have here in MN. He also meet with the company that purchased his intellectual property. Those meetings went well. He's given our trampoline to a family with 4 young kids, and some of the items I've had on FB market place are going to new homes.
So it may be awhile until I can build and move into my dream box. After almost 10 months of moving etc, what's another month?

The extended move would drive me batty! I was able to move with professional movers in 8 hours and 15 minutes. It was my first time using movers and it was worth every penny. I really hope you home sells and you get settled soon, angel97701

congratulations on your your dream box - I hope you get it assembled sooner vs later and are able to start using it.
(((Hugs))) on the extended move. BTDT and it's such an ordeal. We bought this house in Dec 2020 and moved in Feb 2021 but it was December before the last of our furniture made it over here and there is STILL a canoe and a truck topper at the old house that needs to move and we only just now starting to get it ready to sell. It's maddening if you're the sort of person that wants everything in its place.

It's maddening if you're the sort of person that wants everything in its place. Yes, it is driving me batty, I want my nice towels, good every day dishes, and kitchen gadgets. I had spares already here in the cabin or in the motor home so they weren't priority items in the first two moves. Those are the things I miss the most right now
A few roadblocks like the finances of the move were delayed, hence the lack of a professional mover . . . lot more to that story, but we are now in a better place. Yes, still boxes to unpack here. All the books we moved, because I want floating bookshelves on either side of the fireplace. and I am not unpacking, repacking, and unpacking 30 boxes! AND Yes, I did purge!
Craft stuff all in the garage, waiting on the flooring. Stuff still in Oregon . . . because you can only fit so much into a 16 foot Penske truck, two times. We honestly thought we would make a third trip for household stuff and some garage stuff in mid August, but that didn't happen because of the delay in the sale of DH's company.
Family will ask . . . "where is such and so" and my answer is Oregon, they say "no it isn't", so I reply "then find it yourself because I did the entire kitchen, mine and DH's clothing, bathroom etc."
Don't even know when DH will start his trip back, so patient I must be. Don't worry I've had a lot to keep me busy, getting DS17 to and from soccer try-outs, home from practice and building his safety net in MN with disabled child/adult applications, as well as with SS. natscraps mikklynn
Thanks for understanding the discomfort Linda
On the positive side, we did enjoy the lake for most of the summer with plenty of outdoor water activities. So there is that, not everything is negative. I also kind of knew that I wouldn't get some things unpacked until after school started anyway. We had lots of house guests who didn't mind our box situation. Eleven guests that stayed a total of 38 days in the first 10 weeks in our home. What's a lake home if people can't come and visit and play with you! Now to be honest my ILs coming 8 days after our arrival and staying for 11 was very hard . . . I didn't know where things were in the grocery stores, and it took forever to shop and plan for all those meals. Other guests were easier as they offered to take us out for meals. That is so helpful, and my Mother is the queen of eating out. She cared for my father the last 7 years of his life with Alzheimer and has traveled so much this year. As a widow she often will eat out and save the rest for 2 or 3 meals. She actually prefers to eat out because then she gets exactly what she wants to eat! So we did eat out several times and I shared some of my new favorite places with her. It's really fun to take your boat across the lake to a restaurant you can see from your home, park at their dock and have walleye for dinner. The boat ride is about 10 minutes. To drive there it's about 35 minutes. Maybe this winter we will snowmobile across the lake, wait--those aren't in the plans for this winter. The restaurant is one of the sponsors the lighted snowmobile trails . . . so they lead right to their lakeside door.

Well, DS#1 with a little help from DS#2 finished the floor while my DH was in Oregon! My Dream Box 2 arrived and I have slowly been putting the different pieces together. Cubbies, Side Table, Dream Cart, Paper storage, tool storage, etc. Lots of cams, screws, and time. In between finishing the soccer season I finally have the box mostly done. Still need to wait on some hardware, and a few other things that I need to finish up the entire room. The Murphy Bed will be coming soon.
For your viewing pleasure:
DH arrived back from Oregon last Saturday night. It is nice to have him home. Many of the things I wanted he did bring along. But he can't understand why I didn't get my favorite parts of my former craft room packed in June. Well we ran out of time and space in the Penske truck! Still not all craft supplies have made the trip. Most but not all. But I do have the rest of my kitchen, towels, etc.

It looks awesome! I have a room with a walk in closet, so I don't have a need, but just putting everything in it would be a lovely afternoon.

Looks like a great start! Good luck on selling your Oregon home soon.
I too spent a lot of the summer prepping for sale of 2 homes/packing/moving/unpacking after SO and I unexpectedly bought a new home together. We took possession Aug 31 and I started on my craft room yesterday. I am seriously downsizing but the loss of some of my storage cubbies/cabinets/shelving will be made up with a huge walk-in closet that already has floor to ceiling shelving, my cube storage is a perfect fit in the shelves. It will be a slow process but I’m really trying to be intentional with organizing.
Have fun filling your scrap box!

I have a Work Box and I love it! I am in the process of moving my craft room to a full crafting shed and I am excited to fully use this again. I hope you love yours and I am inspired to get the wallpaper to personalize mine! I have had it for about 6 years and it still looks great!

This looks so lovely, congratulations! Your view looks beautiful, what a lovely space to craft!
You'll have to share some more photos of it all loaded up!
I am considering one of these, or something like it, as we will be building a new house and my space will be more in the mainstream than it is now, so I want to be able to "close doors" on my supplies and just have it look tidy!
