I've been enjoying the seasonably warm weather this year. We were in the 50's-almost 60's for most of the last 2 weeks. In the 40's today. I can only find weather for the next 7 days and it looks like 2 of the days will be a rain/snow mix. We are also traveling on Christmas Eve for 5 hours, so I'm okay with none this year.

Better than the tornado we just had. (no damage reported yet. It hit a rural area)

I hope so. The day we get snow at all, let alone on Christmas day in the middle of summer, I'll know the world is ending :-P
But for those of you in the northern hemisphere, i hope the weather treats you well over the next two weeks.

Winter can be so bad and so long here that I am perfectly okay with no snow for Christmas.

I am all out of sorts and no Christmas spirit due to the lack of snow. Everything just looks dirty. (Mpls area). Blah.

Well, since last year, there were already 8" of snow on the ground, I'm fine with there not being much this year.

I just wish it didn't look so blah here. We had wicked cold Oct/Nov and now warm Dec. I'm all out of sorts.

It was 50 degrees in Detroit tonight. We to see "WildLights" at the zoo and it was great. Had our coats unzipped and our gloves off. Perfect weather for walking through the zoo. I think I could be happy if it never snowed again.

I'm perfectly fine with the brown blah landscape. Beats a winter wonderland that I have to drive in and walk through. I really need to move to the tropics.

We will have a green Christmas as we usually do. The daytime highs have been around 8C which is warm for this time of year. I wore a warm coat to work today because it is squishy. No one would see me in it as my parking place is hidden from the public.
Now, cherries and peaches at this time of year would be really great! I love cherries and I adore white peaches!

Looks like a green Christmas in MI, too. So bummed. The weather we are having right now is pretty close to average, at least the temps. After.last year's record breaking snowfall, I am perfectly ok with below average snowfall. To me, snow isn't what makes it Christmas, and I would infinitely prefer it not be actively snowing on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day when so many are driving to visit family.

Fine by me if our Christmas is green! It makes traveling to Christmas gatherings more enjoyable and a lot safer.

Yep, almost always a green Christmas here. No half brown lawns though, not with all the rain in the Pacific Northwest.
I wish we could have a White Christmas, we so seldom get them that I'm always hoping for one.

I think it is so interesting how everyone has different ideas of perfect Christmas weather.
For me, a green Christmas is very much the norm. Not just green, but warm too. Every once in a while it is cold, but my cold is probably not the same as other people's cold.
I have checked our weather for Christmas day yet, but the last week has been COLD down here. I think it is supposed to warm back up this week though. I can't wait.

The night before Thanksgiving it snowed. We awoke Thanksgiving morning to about an inch or two of the white stuff on the ground but the roads were just wet. The trees and bushes were covered with snow - it was beautiful. DH said, "If only we could get this for Christmas." Yeah, that would be perfect!

I've never had a white Christmas - unless you could the white that falls on Main Street in Disney World.

I saw a graphic that showed the chances of a white Christmas based on historical probability. My area was sitting in the 60% or better scale. MI has a 50% chance or better for a white Christmas. Nearly 100% in the UP.
Yesterday, we did an early celebration with DH's family. It was weird doing it with no snow. It was warm enough that several of us were sitting outside on the porch with no shoes on (it was almost unbearably warm in the house). It felt like we were celebrating Christmas in March, not December.

after the 50 degrees we had this weekend all the snow in my yard is gone. We now have big mud piles the dogs love to tromp through. After the past couple of winters, I'm ok with a brown Christmas this year.
