Where ‘up north’ is said water? Northern California? Oregon? Washington state? Canada? The polar ice cap? While CA reservoirs have rebounded the state is not out of the woods drought wise. Sacramento has a ‘surplus’ in their wells but it would be stupid to pump water from wells to canals where it could evaporate. OR & WA have adequate water but not really extra to ship south. Any water north if that *we* don’t have right to. He’s talking out if his ass, yes the reservoirs have rebounded BUT NOT to excess levels. I’m not even sure they are ‘full’ just way fuller than they have been in 22 years. Reason to celebrate - yes ( as long as you weren’t affected by the excess rains & mudslides) but not reason to fuck around with the water you’ve got

Almost giddy here. I know it won't necessarily come to anything.. Arkansas... SHS Rogers-based attorney Tom Mars sent a letter to state Sen. Jimmy Hickey (R-Texarkana) offering testimony from the whistleblower and documents to show the governor's office improperly altered and withheld public records related to its spending, reported News from the States."The letter says Mars’ client !b]'can provide clear and convincing evidence' that Sanders’ office altered and withheld documents that Little Rock attorney and blogger Matt Campbell of the Blue Hog Report requested in recent weeks," the website reported. "Campbell has been scrutinizing and reporting Sanders’ use of the Arkansas State Police airplane for in-state travel as well as her office’s spending habits and purchase of the lectern from an out-of-state events company with a state-issued credit card."[/b] Hickey asked the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee on Wednesday to investigate the purchase of a $19,000 lectern and the retroactive shielding of government records after Sander signed new exemptions for the Freedom of Information Act. The whistleblower accused the governor's communications director Alexa Henning of altering a FOIA-accessible document to change the meaning and directed state officials not to share the original with the blogger and also withheld other documents that showed Amazon purchases by Sanders' office. Sanders' staff also removed portions of FOIA-accessible email threads and directed an attorney who oversaw FOIA responses for the state to alter the contents of a flash drive for the governor's office. www.rawstory.com/governor-sarah-huckabee-sanders/

Still with the reels. Remember a week or so ago the Marines asked for the public’s help in locating a missing F-35? The pilot ejected but the jet was on autopilot and kept flying and for some reason the marines couldn’t track it. But they did find where it crashed some 70 miles from where the pilot ejected. The reels have been having fun with this jet. But this is the funniest yet. IMO. www.instagram.com/reel/CxcLKr6NeZN/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

onelasttime the only way to get out of the quote box to reply is to go back and quote again. Once the curser is in the box you cannot get it out. So click a bit slower before you type and watch the curser.

Is there any way to explain what Rep Jamal Bowman did?
They are having conversations to possible charges of an obstruction of an official proceeding and/or similar misdemeanor charges for the Jan 6th defendants.

Seriously only a dimwit doesn’t grasp the fact that if Putin isn’t stopped in Ukraine he will invade other countries including NATO countries. And why do you think Finland about its neck in its hurry to join NATO after Russia invaded Ukraine? Because Putin, it seems, feels Finland should be part of Russia. Acyn…. ”Steil: The administration has done a poor job explaining to the American people why they have an interest in preventing Russia from taking Ukraine. The biggest concern is that Russian troops would enter a nato country triggering troops. Acosta: The President has said that” x.com/acyn/status/1708267990804844912?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nwAcyn… ”Schumer: We will have avoided a shutdown… But this is a bridge C.R., and leader McConnell and I have agreed to continue fighting for more economic and security aid for Ukraine.”

Jake Sherman…. ”HOUSE DEM LEADERSHIP STATEMENT: "When the House returns, we expect Speaker McCarthy to advance a bill to the House Floor for an up-or-down vote that supports Ukraine, consistent with his commitment to making sure that Vladimir Putin, Russia and authoritarianism are defeated. We must stand with the Ukrainian people until victory is won." x.com/jakesherman/status/1708269890627363163?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nw

Quit posting non-political crap on the political thread. I don't want to see the best actors or other jet pilot crap. I want to read political crap. That's why it's labeled political.

Does he think we should install sprinklers? I have to say this is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. If we had this much water it wouldn’t be an issue. California isn’t the only state with wild fires either. Where are they going to get water to dampen their forests. Seriously this is up there with can we inject bleach and light to kill it ? It’s just going to go away. Stop the steal stop counting where his numbers are going down but don’t stop where he is losing and might gain votes lol. And so many others. I along with mist wish lack of water wasn’t an issue. His going on about how he couldn’t lose in California if things weren’t rigged and him going on and in about it cracked me up to. Only 24% of voters are registered as Republicans in California.

Another fool. A very small town. New Jersey man is facing terrorism and other charges accusing him of intentionally slamming his SUV through a Warren County town’s police station and into the squad room while blaring Guns N’ Roses “Welcome to the Jungle,” authorities said Friday. John G. Hargreaves, 34, of Belvidere, appeared to be celebrating by playing the song from the band’s “Appetite for Destruction” album as officers at the Independence Township police station arrested him, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office. No one was injured in the crash. The sunroof of the SUV was open as it crashed through the front doors, according to a video provided by police. The video shows Hargreaves immediately get out of the stopped vehicle and raise his arms above his head with his index fingers pointed toward the ceiling as officers approach. www.lehighvalleylive.com/warren-county/2023/09/warren-county-man-arrested-after-intentionally-crashing-into-home-police-station-authorities-say.html
