Is there no new collaboration today? I think so. SSS is doing a live at 12pm EST with an announcement.

The blog today has some new rainbow collection of paper, ink and stuff. Not sure if that is today's "release" or what.
Everything is now sold out except the AI set.

I am so confused by Stamptember! Everything seems really disorganized and I can't seem to work out which thing is being released on which day. When I go to the website it is all lumped together. So what I did instead was go to Spellbinders Fire Sale lol.

There are some REALLY good deals in that sale! Like some Fall leaf stitching dies were 27 dollars now 5 bucks.

I like the Alex Siberia set but I’m going to pass. Now if it had a layering stencil so I didn’t have to do the coloring I would have bought it.

Yes-that Spellbinders Fire sale was a good one!! My mom and I went through it and picked up some deals! That leaf set being among them. $5!!!!

I feel like we've seen sets like the Alex Syberia in different configurations a million times. It's a pass for me.

While everything that I can find seems to be a pass for me, I still like looking at (and looking for) the releases and I do think that events like Stamptember bring excitement and vitality to the papercrafing community, so that is really fun.

I looked at it and all I could think was “That looks like one of the thousand Altenew floral stamps that have been out forever.” It is nice enough, but generic. And the cursive font is unreadable.

So what I did instead was go to Spellbinders Fire Sale lol. That’s possibly by design. You’re supposed to stalk them on all their social media, stay up until midnight waiting for the announcement and then panic buy! Except on the days when they announce at midnight that, nah, Gina K is going to show us her thing tonight, and everyone in the IG comments says, gee, thanks, I guess I can go to bed now… sigh. Some years the preview page goes in order so you can at least figure out which companies you love and make a point of reminding yourself to watch for them. Not this year. I’m lucky to be on the Pacific Coast so all the releases are at 9pm, if I care to follow/check. If I forget the good stuff is sold out by morning, but so far I haven’t wanted anything. Was the beginner/gateway drug/primary color release done in place of one of the collabs? I watched Jennifer McGuire’s video while crafting and even with something else to do it was so boring I almost switched it off. The SSS YTer I notice most, Prairie Paper and Ink looks like she only just got her DT supplies, lost in the post in Canada, so I haven’t felt as bombarded as usual.

I was a little tempted by the printmaking birds, iirc, but not enough to break my general-SSS-avoidance. Now I can only vaguely remember them. I buy way too many things that are fun the first time I use them and then never get pulled out again.

This warms my heart. I really appreciate it.
I have so much fun doing the lead up to the reveal and then the YouTube content creators showing their work with the new collabs. Even though this year hasn't been full of things I want to buy I'm still having a good time. I hope everyone else is too!!
Plus it is only September 10th, we have 20 more days. Plenty of time to bankrupt me.

The Pink and Main set is the first one I've liked so far, but I'm still passing - AE and December Daily ate my crafting budget this month, lol.

The prices are extremely off putting, especially knowing that you might end up on the hook for multiple shipping charges. Probably exactly why they provided the free shipping code.

Now that I’ve mentioned them I may pull them out to play with next week, but after that they’ll sit. It’s so easy for me to send stuff over the sound to you!

I bought the Pink and Main set. My first Stamptember purchase. I have the Hello Winter set too. They cut out great with my Scan n Cut…so I don’t need the die. I like to Copic color and I like having a new snowman set for this Christmas

Yes, marshmallow snowmen. P&M had a similar set last year. I think they're cute. (but no Christmas/winter sets for me)

I just took a look at hello winter and you are so right!!
I thought the same thing, but last year I kicked myself after watching Nichol Spohr (who is apparently my enabler and she doesn't know it) make gift tags with a similar marshmallow set, only to realize the set sold out super quick. I still think they're strange looking and this years set ended up being a pass for me.
