Tempted by the C&9th layering poinsettia but it’s not like I don’t have a poinsettia embossing folder and a layered die set and patterned paper. Plus every company has some kind of poinsettia stamp. I’m not really sure I can be bothered with layering stamps, so maybe I’m safe.

Another release, another no. I already have way too many poinsettia stamps and dies, don’t need another one. I did place a Concord & 9th order earlier today from their September release that I’ll get much more use out of.

Hate poinsettias. C&9th was what I was most looking forward to, too.

I bought the C9 release. I really liked it and had a couple of other things that I had carted up to come along with it. So far I have been able to use the free shipping code twice.

Mainly got it for the little houses, they’re really cute and can be used year round. If I hadn’t already ordered the spellbinders Stitchmas kit I would have gotten the Christmas Cloche too. I’m still going to get it later, I have a bunch of ideas for it besides Christmas.

Today's release is fine. Kinda pretty. But like all the others, just does not seem Stamptember-worthy. Maybe we have come to expect too much, lol. And lindas I agree about the Over the Rooftops bundle. Cute. And my goodness, that cloche........... ETA: Jenn McGuire has a video up with today'a release and a faux watercolor technique. Still does not make me want them.

Huh, not what I was expecting from C&9. This give more of an Altenew vibe than C&9. I honestly don’t think that looks anything like a poinsettia, more plumeria like to me.

Hate poinsettias. C&9th was what I was most looking forward to, too. I don't hate them, but they have been done to death! I was hoping for something much more innovative from C&9th. It's kind of boring, imho for Stamptember.

There was an AE/DD release a few years ago of a poinsettia stamp set I LOOOOOVE. I don’t need another one. I do appreciate the DT use of the C&9 stamp set. I’ve gotten some great ideas.

Not tempted by C9. I was hoping for a turnabout and not a layered stamp like altenew. Its's an easy pass for me.

When I get home I’ll check.

When I first saw it, tropical flower came to mind. I don't have any poinsettias and I think this one can work as both depending on the color. I could fussy cut and round out the tips. I got the stamp set. If I had to pay shipping I probaby would not have gotten it.

I wonder if companies decided not to do their best designs for Stampember. They can only sell a limited amount and share that profit ,and they are not supposed to recreate them for their own stores.
I like this set from C&9th but I already have something similar that I picked up at TM. I will try JMs watercolor technique, but not in a stamping tool. That just looks like it take more efforts than needed.

The name of the stamp is actually festive flower, so maybe intended to be more generic, although many of the examples are doing it in poinsettia colors. The blue example I saw didn't look good to me. It's sold out now so, meh, whatever. I agree with others that there are much cooler things in the new C&9th release. And plenty of other non-fomo poinsettias and flowers on the market.

As I said, if I had to pay shipping, I probably would not have gotten it. I always factor that in to whatever I am buying.

That's nice. I actually love it and think it might be quite fun to play around with colors and styles to make it more versatile. The stamp only isn't a bad price, especially with free shipping I hope you share what you make with it!

I loved the poinsettia from C&9 but I didn't get it, I have a bunch of poinsettia stamps and dies already that I need to use more. I love poinsettias, though. I'm happy to have received the design team inspiration for it so I can use that Inspiration for the sets I own. Yeah, I think I got a little FOMO. But for being a 6x8 and only $25 vs $30, I like that this one is layers, but only two layers. As I said, if I had to pay shipping, I probably would not have gotten it. The little mice are cute and I like the sample cards but I don’t do Halloween cards and very few fall cards so I’m passing once again.

I love the mice! Cute cute! Love that mummy and vampire. And the pirate.... Like the sentiments too. But I cannot color/shade and those are too detailed to fake it.
I agree-better price, but it is a 4 x 6 set. Still, several dies for under $40. Dies seem to be driving some of the higher prices. (Not Stamptember related-the new Tim Holtz Sizzix stuff is at a higher price point this year too).
Much better Stamptember offering today, IMO, even though I still am not buying.

Today's mice are an easy pass for me. Cute, but not my style. I had looked at some Whimsy Stamps "Yeti for Christmas" stamps back when I was obsessing about cute yetis, but realized I couldn't color them to look anywhere near as nice as the samples. No regrets. I'm very proud of myself any time I recognize that something I like isn't my style
