Welcome to SKETCHtember! I will be your Friday host. Each week we will celebrate Flashback Fridays, where I will pull a sketch from a year--or several years--ago. And then we can all play with it.
Here is today's sketch...
Another thing about Flashback Fridays, my samples will always be double pagers. To stretch this sketch, I placed my strips of washi tape across the two pages, meeting in the middle, and then placed the photos and title. Here is what I came up with:
I hope you have time to play with this fun sketch, whether you put together one page or two.
If you are a member of a challenge team, there are points to be earned. Create something with this sketch for FIVE points. Add the twist (Hearts &/o stars) on any project for ONE point. Add the twist on your take of this sketch for a bonus of TWO points. So, total points up for grabs...5+1+2=8.

The game pieces are all printed and fussy cut from a digital kit. I don't do digital pages but I bought a color printer and use lots of images from the digital kits. |

Chinagirl828 - I love the simplicity of the red and white - great photo of the poncho and I love the journalling. I too had a poncho as a child although I don't think mine was hand-knit. My mother was a leftie and she tried valiantly to knit but one sweater was the extent of her success

Great sketch grammadee - I was whining yesterday in the crop about needing to do a 2 page layout, and then I realized I could use your example and sketch! Thank you!  layout don't blink by kirstendrew, on Flickr I used one of the pp's from Shimelle's new Main Character Energy that cut into strips, some washi, 49th and market die cut strips, and ancient bits and bobs from my colour drawers. It's...ecclectic! |

My dh is always slipping table food to dd's dogs and then wonders why he can't get up from the table without tripping over them LOL. Love your choice of strips and how you added in the banner. |

This was a fun sketch and easy to pull together for my size scrapping. I did use landscape rather than my usual portrait style.  With This Ring wendy crowe, I love the photos of the big crayons and the Pixar Ball. Where were they taken? The only ball I have ever seen was at the Pixar Studios. I love the bright primary colors you have used to scrap this page. That game collage is brilliant. Love the Mickey buttons for accents. Beautiful page. grammadee, AussieMeg, kitbop and Chinagirl828, your pages are wonderful. You each have love in the gallery. |
