linda you’re not overloading the thread, you’re posting your layouts which is exactly what it was created for, I love seeing your new work. The rest of us are just slacking so it feels like you’re posting “too much.” *whispers* And am totally intimidated by how many you’ve completed this year. But I also like multiple photos on a page and not nearly as much embellishing as is the popular style these days, so I’m always glad when you post new content! Thank you so much! I just finished up a family album 2009 so am feeling accomplished. Next will be a trip album from 2013...that one I'm starting from scratch on whereas the family album just needed gaps filled. inspired by the sketch here pamelasworldofscrap.blogspot.com/2010/06/sketch-204.html?m=1

I can’t finish layouts, much less albums I always seem to get stuck on some part and move on to the next. The next ones I want to work on are from a vacation as well, always brings back memories! Thanks to the link for the sketch, I saved it to Pinterest!

I can’t finish layouts, much less albums (((Hugs))) I don't usually have problems finishing layouts - starting them though sometimes stumps me. But because I don't usually scrap in order but I like chronological albums, I was finding I had loads of started albums and not so many finished ones. So I've been trying to make more of an effort to go back and finish up the photos I skipped.

grammadee - love the z-fold cards -I might have to give that fold a try -was it complicated? The deer scenes are beautiful! The anniversary and sympathy cards are lovely also - sympathy cards are hard, imo.

grammadee - love the z-fold cards -I might have to give that fold a try -was it complicated? One of the easiest I have ever attempted! Having square dies in the right sizes really helped too, but some of the squares I cut with a trimmer.

I went simple and streamlined my cards this year. I think the most work was cutting and folding the bases lol

This is the die set, but it is a few years old and out of stock the couple of places I checked.

I made this card the other day when I came across the "blessings" pocket card that had been hanging around my craft room for years and years. I have never really liked it, was sick of seeing it, but I realized I could make a card from it pretty easily with stuff I had on my desk. And now it's in the box on its way to Bring Smiles to Seniors and I never have to see it again! http://instagram.com/p/CzuovgYJ7O1

Thank you joyfulnana for hosting tonight! I got a good start to my Atlanta 2013 trip album title page - words cut on Cricut, numbers are stickers old SEI paper and some random travel stuff background paper is from a HL grab bag DH bought last year, flowers are QK Daisies This layout is based on a sketch b ut I'm not sure where I found it. This was attempt #4 at this layout - I used a different sketch for the first 3 tries all of which ended up in the bin - rays are not my forte, lol Fussy cut embellishments - all papers are from an old Paper Studio pad The very last of my Thomas stickers

Cut out a BUNCH of paper on my Cricut last night to start working on a scrapbook dedicated to our Saturday day trips to the Philadelphia area. Also decided to use it to cut a big photograph so I didn't have to do it by hand. The bottom and top will have patterned paper, and the middle will have a photo of us.

I just finished 15 cards using this design with a couple of slight variations in the cardstock I used for the poinsettias. The gold embossed paper was a leftover - I had cut a circle from the middle of the gold panels ages ago for another project, and then planned to use them as mats or backgrounds. At some point I had embossed them with the poinsettias and put them in my container of “someday maybe” projects. This week I finally got them turned into cards with minimal decision making. This kind of project is kind of boring for me to make but it’s nice to clear out so many scraps and they didn’t take too long. The colors and textures should appeal to seniors. Trying to bring some order to my scrap room, I am finding alot of unused diecuts and embossed pieces I had not yet used. Put a couple of quick cards yesterday embossed backgrounds by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I also uncovered a Spellbinders die set I had not even used yet, so I put together a few of them last night. Then this morning I put together some cards to use them on
Oh and that is NOT black ice. My phone did not like the reflections from the dark teal/blue shiny paper... POINTS: seven cards (105), created & shared (14). Total: 119.
