Ooh, everyone has been busy! Lots of lovely projects to look at later I shared these in the latest Sheetload thread. I made some adjustments to suit my leftovers. Nov share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Nov share by jo.blackford, on Flickr And then the last few cards to finish off the paper pad... I only had one 2x2" square and some tiny scraps left. The 2x2 piece and the leftover die cuts are going to a friend for her journal. = 47 cards from a 6x8 + 2 bonus sheets + die cut pack I am happy to be done with this one. It was a bit of a struggle to match with different styles and scales. Nov share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Linda -all those layouts are really good. Is it just me, or are the a little more complicated than your normal style? I love them! The angled mat on "new adventure" in the multi colour is really cool. The ?fussy cut?? flowers on "together are a beautiful subtle touch a they are an extension of the beautiful background pp. I remember Deluxe Cuts so well - I'm not sure where mine went, I only had 12x12 one obviously This is the *last* of dance comp 2021 season. Total 26 layouts, but 3 are double pagers so 29 12x12 page. And 2 double sided pocket pages too that I won't share as they are hard to photograph. layout say cheese by kirstendrew, on Flickr

kitbop - thank you. I think they're a mix of my usual simple style (birthday, dinner, family) and a bit more involved (together, memories). Yes - both of those pages have fussy cutting flowers. I'm loving your dance layouts and will be back later to look more closely at them

I had a 4x6 photo case that was filling up with half-started and half-finished Christmas cards and sentiments, etc so the other day I made some cards from as much of it as I could. These first ones used stamped and matted sentiments that I’d had hanging around for years. I could never find anything they went well with until I suddenly realized they just needed a snowflake embossed background. The little characters are a piece of notepaper (I think from one of those free notepad that charities give away). There was also a leftover foiled sentiment that went well enough with a holographic embossed test piece I had. Nov share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Once I figured out that the snowflake background was a quick and easy background I made more cards using the rest of the random bits. It was so satisfying to use up these old old things! The container is almost empty now. Nov share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Starting here and working back to page five with my comments... joblackford , I love what you made with your "leftovers". Will look more closely on Flickr at your fun cards.
kitbop, your dance pages are wonderful. You have such a command of colour and space and each page has its own personality. I have left love in the Gallery. Linda , no one else could pivot so expertly from girlie birthday to manly truck stuff! Great use of the SKETCHtember sketches. Love that garage floor pp. And I love the floral pp as backdrop for the decorated compost bins. Your artistry has definitely been passed down. Great pic's of the butterflies. Glad they made it into the 2009 album. Love your clean & simple look like the well laid out pink/purple birthday page, but you channeled Shimelle wonderfully! Love all the butterflies and layers! I think those cut templates were made for people like you. Even when you don't use them your pages are all very well organized. And your double layered mats are always perfectly coloured to highlight the photos. Awesome creations coming out of the Friday crop! Love how you used patterned paper and white space. And the way you mix it up from time to time--did I see a torn edge there?--adds to the interest of your books. Love the way you used the hexagons on the SG sketch page. And great job turning Allison Davis's pp strip sketch on its side! But that pumpkin LO takes the cake! Or is it the pie On page five, your leafy creations are really fun, Linda . Such a lot of work stamping and colouring and layering those leaves!

This was another card using things I had set aside as samples or extras. I went to photograph it with the others and realized it looked really unbalanced so I added more poinsettias to fix it. I barely had to do any die cutting to finish this card because I had almost everything pre-cut. I just had to figure out how to put it together! Nov share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

joblackford - so pretty with the gold embossed background and the poinsettas! Thank you mom for hosting the online crop today. I made some good progress with the October 2009 photos This first is for Sketchy Saturday Nov 4th - used up lots of random blue stuff. The quote is DCVW I think and the bigger flower stickers are KI Memories This one used up the last scraps of the tool paper - Karen Foster, I think. Stickers are Recollections Embellishments are a mix of Pinkfresh and random pink stuff This one I'm not sure of the brand but everything is from spiral bound kit Scrapbook Generation sketch for this - PP is SEI, embellishments are a mix of Scrapbook Generations Car and Driver and punched shapes. Chipboard alphas were a thrift store find

joblackford, I love your Sheetload cards. Great Christmas colors and patterns. I have a hard time tilting anything on projects and don’t usually like diagonals, but your cards are beautiful. I especially love those big sentiments!~ I love the sentiment on Holiday Wishes. So pretty and dainty. Very cute little snowmen! Your Merry and Bright card is my favorite. The colors are so bold and pretty and that poinsettia is gorgeous. Linda, your Pumpkin Joy is the cutest ever page. I love that pumpkin and the papers you have used inside the opening. Adorable photo. Totally gorgeous! My favorite kind of layout!~ I am really enjoying seeing your children when they were small. I love the way your pages each have a different “flavor” depending on the event. Great ideas for me to use for inspiration. Thank you for posting them. Your pages from the Gen. Sketches are so professional. Did you just downsize 12x12 sketches or do they have 8.5x11 sketches too? Your page from the Deluxe Cuts is so well done. I need to pull out the couple I own. So many sweet family photos. I’m assuming the children are with a grandmother;very touching. Great butterfly photos and I love the painted trash cans! I know pink is not your usual color, but your pink pages are wonderful. I love the embossed metal background on your mechanics page. Great tool paper and I think that's the cutest little mechanic checking your tire pressure! Beautiful, beautiful body of work! grammadee, you have been a busy bee. I am loving your cards and all the layouts you have done this month. You have love in the gallery. kitbop, I have really enjoyed all your dance layouts. I am enthralled by the ability and stage presence of your DD and her friends. You take amazing photos. You have love in the gallery.

Did you just downsize 12x12 sketches or do they have 8.5x11 sketches too? Thank you nylene - SG does have some 8.5x11 sketches but I adapted 12x12 for these (and most of the layouts I do from sketches) scrapbookgeneration.com/e-book-sfs-vol-8-adapted-to-8-1-2-x-11-pages-part-one/So many sweet family photos. I’m assuming the children are with a grandmother;very touching Yes - my mum was visiting and in some of the photos.

linda, I commented on your "Just like Dad" layout on the sketch thread, but your "I can help" layout is darling! I love that you're using older SEI paper! I think I still have a few sheets of SEI paper that I can't seem to part with.

Thanks mom for hosting again today. I've almost finished filling in the holes in the 2009 family album - 2 layouts still need journalling and then there's 1 more to make. These first two have samples of DD23's creative writing when she was in 4th grade - I've covered most of it - sorry.

linda you’re not overloading the thread, you’re posting your layouts which is exactly what it was created for, I love seeing your new work. The rest of us are just slacking so it feels like you’re posting “too much.” *whispers* And am totally intimidated by how many you’ve completed this year. But I also like multiple photos on a page and not nearly as much embellishing as is the popular style these days, so I’m always glad when you post new content!
