Yes. A sitcom that ran here 2004-2009. Yes- DS (born in 1998) has good memories of watching the show in middle/high school- this is what they'd put on when they needed a "filler" to keep kids occupied!

I watch Maymay Made it on YouTube and they can’t keep this item in stock. I won’t give her my money! I love the wet shammy idea and will try that today. That is where I first saw it and she always looks awkward when using it. I was at a crop last weekend and tried my bottle upside down in a cup with a wet baby wipe at the bottom. Worked great!

I just bought one of these. I bought it from a small, local stamp store. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and am hoping this will help. I hated the fact that MSP made the product, but my hands get so cramped when using liquid glue, especially when I'm making a mini album.

She was a house painter for 30+ years and even after a couple surgeries, she still has problems.

I noticed this morning that YTer Ardyth was using the MSP branded Nuvo glue bottle but was using the glue gun, and hasn't been for a while I think. And clearly not just because she doesn't like the glue...
Has anyone else noticed YTers who are no longer using the tool? I'm sure no one feels like they can say they hate it (Justine Hovey had a recent video explaining all the reasons why that's not something most channels will do) but I'm predicting that fewer and fewer channels will show using it over time if it's not helpful or comfortable.

I had problems using an ATG tape gun. Way to big for me to handle. I’m only 5’2” so my arms are short and my hands are small. Throw clumsy into the mix and you have a recipe for a mess. My trying to maneuver that glue press thing would result in glue all over everything. And of course I wouldn’t buy anything from her. I wonder if she’s making them in her garage like she did those first MISTIs. Hmm how long will it will take for the Temu knock offs to hit the market?

Jenn McGuire is back to her little bottle with the fine tip. She had shoulder surgery, though, so not sure if that is why.

Hi all - I'm a NSBR native but wandered over here to see what was up because I still scrap, though not often and I'm definitely not up on the trends. I just have to say I was SUPER confused reading about MSP on this board, because it had a whole 'nuther meaning on the NSBR! Anyone remember Magic Shaving Powder?

Is it something safe too google or not? 🙈😝 I'll wait until someone tells me... Yes, over here it refers to a company we generally prefer not to name, or that we give rude nicknames to (Stinky Flower is a common one) because many are not fans of her bullying business practices. Welcome we don't mind if you don't scrap much or at all!

Welcome we don't mind if you don't scrap much or at all! Yup, it's safe - basically like Nair or similar depilatory goo, except that it comes as a powder, and I think it was originally sold for men's faces, but is gentle enough for . . . other places. It comes in a sort of cardboard "can" and is a white powder you mix with water to make a paste to apply. It was the phrase "precision glue press" in combination that was startling! But having read through the rest of the thread and not knowing about the behind the scenes drama that makes us not support the maker, I think I'm with the folks saying "why not just make a bottle we can squeeze?".

I’d never heard of Magic Shaving Powder, just the scrappy MSP.
As I get older, my hands aren’t as adept as usual, but even if the MSP glue gun were made by someone else and didn’t have her brand on it, I wouldn’t bother with it. Karen Burniston is the one who taught me the trick of the fine tip bottle left open but upside down on a damp paper towel. It works well, but even her liquid glue can warp the card stock and paper slightly when too generously applied, so I decided to try my ATG gun again. Within seconds, the stupid tape broke on me, so I immediately switched back to using the fine tip glue bottle from Karen Burniston’s online store. It’s quick and easy to use, gentle on the wrist/hands, and dries fast. When it starts getting harder for my hands to use, it just means that it’s time to refill it.

OK, I'm glad it wasn't something weirder than I guessed from the name! thank you You just never know! If you ever feel like reading some msp drama there are several threads on the cardmaking and scrapping boards with all the history of the misti stamping tool.
