Yes! I'm loving the more open upper level with all the fun things. I'd been dying for that tall, rounded top window and finally got it!

I'm a moonstone hoarder lol - I think I have about 22,000 or so - I'm picky with what I spend on.

I finally used the Ancient gathering machine thing - cleared all my valley biomes in no time - but when I posted in a FB group found out they suck up mist to be used. I had NO idea. Apparently a glitch - it used to say how much you were using with gathering.....ugh. But it's amazing for the things you need!

Alrighty, all you movers and shakers and players of old!! I don't mean age, I mean length of time.

I am in the process of making Ursala a 10 and should be there today, I think. Then I get to get Eric. I have realized some of the more annoying characters, I have not brought up to a 10 level. I suppose I should get that done. Then get Mike and Sully. They showed up when the path started and I was determined to get my Star Path done. And I did. Now I need to get moonstones. I hate that we can only get them from blue chests. It is extremely rare that I find them in the Valley. I usually have to to the Eternity Isle and when I get there and start running around, I will find not 1, not 2 but 3 sometimes. Surely, it's not just my game glitching. But they are bringing back items to the shop that I never got at the beginning of the game and I just want so many of them. But ODS told me to never put my own money in the game. Said he who is forever buying expansion packs and stuffs for his PS5.

So a couple of questions. I had all my storage chests in a back room. I called it my pantry. Well I am outgrowing that. I am in the process of making chests and moving them to a larger side room. But the agonizing slow process of removing stuff from the storage, into my inventory, grabbing the chest and the putting it down in the new room, reloading is just slow. It does, however, allow me to go from chest to chest and find all the random "oh, I'll just throw this here until I can make room in the other chest" items and get them all together. I am about to watch a video on someone's organized storage room and make take ideas from her. Do you have all your stuff in one room or do you have storage all over the place?

2- These cottages and such that I am buying. I have a fairy cottage and a comfy summer cottage and some others. I would like to have the summer cottage set-up as my house. But it won't really be my house will it? I did place one the other day. I have to completely renovate it. Is there some magic that I have to do to get my storage stuff over? Or am I misunderstanding videos where they say they are making that "their" house for whatever season? If I go into those houses, will I restore my energy?

So many questions for a game. I really shouldn't have rolled my eyes at my sons when they were so into their games when they lived here.

Thank you for clarifying!! Now if they would just slow down with the next path or update(can't believe I am saying that) so I can get some real work done.

I play on a Switch so bear with me. There is a + button on the top right and this pulls up a menu scroll. It tells you what your dream chores are, your map, your collections, event and there is a shop. The shop would be where they put up items for sale. Usually big ticket items - a house, a castle, several bundled items from a movie, the large balloon from Up, seasonal skins for characters, etc. They have been bringing back items from past Star Paths and selling them for moonstones. For those of us that missed out in the early release of the game. Those items can only be bought with moonstones. I don't find enough blue chests(or don't hunt them as I should) to have a large build up of moonstones. I get a case of I want it all sometimes with the items in the shop. There is always 1 page with about 4 items on there. They throw in a 2 pager every now and then.

I'm getting most of my Moonstones from doing the Dreamsnaps stuff! I get 600 usually, and once in a while I score big with over 1000!

That and finishing the star path - I'm stingy with what I spend them on so I sill have quite a few. Waiting for that damn beach house to come back!

cakediva I have only just gotten into the Dreamsnaps. The first one I did it seems I got 1200! The next couple were very low. I just submitted the Moana challenge this week. Patting myself on the back, I am pretty darn proud of that one. I hope that it scores high.

I need to go check out that FB group. I was in one for ACNH and it became too much so I muted it. Since I need all the help I can get with DDV, I need to run and join for inspo.

I quickly viewed a couple of videos this morning on her valley set up and decorating. They were gorgeous and full of items. I guess I really need to up my game on buying and DIYing some things.

We all really need to get to a comfy spot and visit each other. Like ACNH. Hopefully, with the upcoming update they are making changes to the visiting. But I have done nothing to my village except plop down houses when I got a new villager. I tried to make it all make sense with placements but spots were a bit jumbled. I have moved Ursula and Ariel. I also moved Vanellope from where her original spot was. Oh and with this past weeks challenge, I moved Moana and Maui's houses closer to her boat.

So it is rather dreary and dull on my little bit of heaven but I am ready to start working on it. This weekend is supposed to be rainy and cool again. I won't be able to do a lot of outside work. This afternoon, my plan is to attack the inside and make it good enough for me to feel no guilt as I play this weekend.

There’s a lot of back and forth - but it appears we get another sneak peek on Wednesday not the expansion 😭

Kind of excited for this update!! Don't care much about Oswald, but the Daisy and theme park star path? SUPER fun!!

Ugh I'm the same place with storage!

I've decided floor #2 of my main house will be the storage floor. I have a gem room all set, thanks to safes from Scrooge. But my "crafting" room was done with chests - took forever to make enough! And I'm still needing a few more. I need another row or two for "crafted" things like fabric, twine & glass so I always have them.

Kitchen is set up, but nowhere near enough chests - mostly for spices & things I don't "grow" - I have a huge half of my Sunlit area as a garden, with a chest at each plot for storage of harvested veggies, plus all the trees & bushes, so I don't need them in the kitchen.

Don't even want to start with the flower room - there are 40 kinds! That's a LOT of chests lol.

Thank you! I don't think I've said anything here. He will heal and is already trying to run after the squirrels in the backyard. We are having to take him out on a lead and he is really pulling on it. His little sister was really disturbed by it all. She was just behind him. I guess it's a good think she's a bit slower or she would have been hit also. 

I have my Switch with me today to do the upload. I am now wondering if I need to wait. The FB group I am in is up in arms with thoughts and questions. A Daisy quest no one understands, someone had a corrupted software issue, someone has already found a glitch.

I saw someone post they did a Star Path and only had 20 minutes to do it. I am assuming they had a timed task? le sigh...I may wait. Oh, who am I kidding? As soon as I get an opportunity, I will update.
